Safe dial fell out
Safe 2.2 cube YuChuang USManufacturer RXUJYC , PART4L-HU4C-ZRVSI entered my code to open it, turned the dial and it fell out. The paperwork I have to manually open it all use the keys and dial. There wasn’t any email or customer service number anywhere. I called Amazon to help and they could not find any information either. I’m very frustrated. Please help ? How do I get into the safe now?

A safe coming straight from the Goldfinger James Bond movie!

With the increase of crime and wild fires here in California, having a solid fireproof safe was my top priority. That said, there are a LOT of safe models available on Amazon, and thus the choice was very difficult. At the end, I went with the one that actually looked visually appealing while having all the interesting functionality I was looking for, and boy I wasn’t disappointed.First of all, this safe looks even better in person than it was on the listing pictures. It’s well made, and definitely look like it could sustain some heavy damages and/or attempts to open it from any unauthorized individual who would dare to try.This safe also comes with some mounting hardware (wall peg) to help mounting this it on the wall, as well as four feet with some felt on them, if you decide to just leave the safe on a shelve or a table-top instead. However, I would recommend installing it securely mounted on or inside a wall, because otherwise it will be easier for a criminal to just carry it away to open it later at his place.I also loved the fact that this safe had a top secure compartment that could be locked with a (included) key, as well as a pouch with a zipper that is apparently made of some kind of fireproof material. This could come handy for added fire protection on super important documents left inside the safe. Also, there is a useful small light that turns on when you open the door and light up the inside of the safe, which I find quite nice.Something to keep in mind though, is that this safe will NOT open only when entering a personal combination using the digital keypad. To open this safe, you will need to use the pass-code you setup, but you ALSO need to use the security key. So, for those who want to buy this safe thinking you can just open it using a pass-code, this model isn’t for you. But I prefer it that way myself though, as it adds an extra piece of security, in case someone knows (or manage to guess) my pass-code.Overall, I am very happy with it and could talk about this safe for a long time too (thus why my video is almost 10mn long!), but I will have to let you get it and discover all those features by yourself for now. 😁

Not too shabby…
There’s a lot more room in this unit than I really needed and anticipated but it’s better to have too much than not enough, right? Immediately I wanted to secure this to the wall to protect the contents from even myself! Since it was my first time with a bigger safe it was tedious but very easy as one might imagine.Overall build is nice, options to open it, separate locking compartment, hooks for keys, moveable shelf and the included “fireproof” pouch is adequate. The latter however, I’m skeptical of, so for now it’s just just keeping some documents of sale and titles dry from my underground cave’s excess humidity. For storing money I opted for some highly praised fireproof pouches with reflective strips and stow them behind the little door. Here’s hoping some dumb schmuck doesn’t decide to light the neighborhood on fire regardless.The only criticism I have is the knob. Plastic? Really? I’m not expecting every safe made has a brass or (at the very least) steel handle or whatever but c’mon. Plastic gets brittle over extended periods of time, especially in very dry environments or so I’ve been told. I’d have at least settled for aluminum if not the same metal used to construct the whole safe even if it meant tacking another $5 onto the price.

Excellent secure safe at a good price, with optional 3 step or 2 step locking system. But, unfortunately for my use, it is smaller than expected so I had to return it. It was not able to accommodate one of the items I wanted to put in the safe. But it is a good safe for cash, jewelry, documents, cameras and such items Check the dimensions before ordering.

Helpful things not in the instructions
Well built, easy to program, instructions weren’t terrible. A couple things they don’t have in there though…1. The battery box with a wire is for backup. If the AA batteries in the built-in battery holder die, you can plug the battery box in underneath the keypad to power the keypad and unlock the door. Handy feature!2. The emergency key hole can be accessed by pressing hard on the right side of the plastic plate between the dial and the keypad. The instructions make it look like it slides, but you just press it hard and it swings open.3. The shelf is removable but not adjustable.4. The light works great with the door fully open. Otherwise it doesn’t shine into the open space.5. The mounting screws should go into something firm. The drywall anchors are huge, but I wouldn’t personally trust them in drywall alone. Only 2 holes on the back and 2 on the bottom.I think this will serve us great! It’s just the right size to fit a 13” laptop. Looking forward to using it for many years to come!

IMPORTANT TO KNOW about opening
So many people had difficulty opening the safe. We did too and actually returned first on only to have same issue with the replacement. The safe wouldn’t open with the code. You could open with keys but not code. You could input a code and it would say open but wouldn’t open. I read the instructions carefully to find that the key slot on left side had to be in horizontal position. That fixed it. Safe opens with code. It’s a great safe. We easily mounted to our floor. I recommend.

A great buy!
The safe is extremely easy to use and program. I like the fact that I can use the keys OR the punch code to access the safe. I also like that there is an additional key for the inside to access the smaller compartment where you can keep valuables, cash, etc. I was surprised at the heftiness of the safe and that if I need to anchor it to a wall or floor, all of the products to do so were included. All in all, a great product and a great buy for the price! I highly recommend!!!

This is a worthwhile purchase.
The safe’s appearance, quality, durability, and functionality meet my expectations. Appearance-wise, I love the black and gold color along with the interior and exterior design of the safe. Regarding its quality, the safe is very well-built and in mint condition. It’s also extremely durable, shown by its thick structure, which makes it difficult for any person to break into the safe. Furthermore, you aren’t forced to utilize only one method to open the safe. You can either use both the master and emergency keys to open the safe or enter a passcode. However, the safe must be powered on before you can enter a passcode or else it won’t work. There is plenty of room inside the safe to store your valuables. A separate compartment that requires another key to open exists inside the safe which provides another sense of security in case the safe does get breached. In situations of a fire breaking out or a flood, the safe has a fireproof and waterproof bag to protect your valuables. Setting up the safe isn’t very difficult. You only need to follow the instructions on the manual and you’re good to go. This was a worthwhile purchase.

So many features!
I bought this safe as a “convenience” safe…one that would keep certain things out of reach for little hands, but still close by when needed. This one fit the bill perfectly. From the size to the black & gold, sleek design, it blended in quite inconspicuously.It’s easily been 10 years or more since I’ve bought a safe, so it was a nice surprise to see how nice one could look and the new features that aren’t on my old ones. For example, there’s a matching mat to soften the floor of the bottom compartment. There’s also a very nice zippered document pouch that is ALSO fire- and water-proof.As a woman who prizes the jewelry that has been passed down to me, I want it safe AND untangled. The necklace hangars are such a nice touch!One logistical thing I want to mention is about the password. Many devices requiring a password make you choose one that is 5 – 13 digits long. This particular safe will allow a three digit code!. Timing is important when you need quick access to something…like my handgun, or my son’s life-saving medication.I would highly recommend this safe to anyone looking for a sharp-looking, well-made, medium-large safe.

There are two issues getting this safe setup.
1st issue which took me 45 minutes to figure out how to open the cover on the key on right. Since the cover on left slides, I thought that the right key cover also slid to right, “WRONG” I PRESSED ALL OVER THAT COVER TRYING TO GET IT TO MOVE WITH NO SUCCESS. I finally looked at picture on line and cover looked as it popped open on right side. So I press and repressed on far right of cover and “FINALLY” the cover popped open. There is NOTHING in the manual about how to open this cover, which was really frustrating.2nd Issue: password I setup doesn’t work, I have followed intstruction and redone this process twich getting all of the correct messages but safe door knob doesn’t turn. ( This is still a issue).3rd )Missing from the box are following item 1) Emergency key chain. as listed in manual.

Good safe, but not exactly as described – UPDATE
9/24/2022 – Just a few days after posting my initial review, I was contacted by the seller apologizing for not meeting my expectations. The main point was clarifying the warranty:The lifetime warranty we provide including technical support and replacing accessories for free.The three year warranty we provide including replacing the safe for free if the product is defective.I’m not sure how much I believe that, since I also received another email telling me that the lifetime warranty is only activated if I send them my order number via WhatsApp, an app that I don’t use. So the ad states it has a lifetime warranty, but you have to download and install WhatsApp and then send them your order number to activate it? What is the purpose of that? So I give them credit for at least reaching out to me, but I’m not sure it makes much difference.Initial review – I researched these safes for days, and for the price, this one was the best for a basic security safe. It is not fire retardant or fireproof, nor is it waterproof. But they show pictures of things that are different than what they sent me, and I wonder why? First off, the display on the front of the safe is a little different. Instead of the day of the week being represented along the bottom of the display, there is a small dial-type display in the top right corner that points to the day. Second, the four pins that secure the door and the four holes they go into on the frame are not gold as shown, and the holes are oblong, as if they were made to fit the pins of a different safe that I see sold on Amazon. Third, the front edge of the adjustable shelf is not gold as shown. None of these things are really important, but it’s almost as if the manufacturer builds multiple styles to be sold under different names, and then mixes and matches parts willy-nilly. What they show and describe is what I should get. The adjustable shelf is only adjustable in two positions that are fixed on the sides of the safe. Not a huge deal, but since other safes I saw appeared to have multiple notches to affix the shelf, and since they didn’t show any detail of that on this safe, I assumed this one did, too. Quality of the safe seems pretty good, with no glaring paint defects on the outside. The “leather” lining on the inside is really just paper with a soft, fibrous surface. When I peeled the bottom of it up to access the mounting holes, it ripped. Peeling up the paper revealed several areas on the welded seams that are rusted. I don’t anticipate that this will result in failure of the safe, but time will tell. The user instructions are okay, but skip some things, such as how to program the day of the week (1 = Mon, 2 = Tues, etc). The safe is advertised as having a lifetime warranty, but the instructions show a 3 year warranty. After I wrote my initial review, I was contacted by the seller, who told me that if I send my order number to them on WhatsApp, they will give me a lifetime warranty – what’s up with that?

Bell’s & Whistles
I bought this essentially as a fire resistance box and not for it’s qualities as a safe. Bank branches keep closing so it is difficult to use a safe deposit box. Because I just store paper in it, valuable only to me, I prefer to keep it simple. I just lock the box with the two keys. However, this safe comes with so much more. Literally it has bells and whistles. In addition to the keys you can set up a combination which is maintained electronically by batteries. There is a supplied external battery pack when the inside batteries fail. I also has an alarm if an attempt to move or open it incorrectly happens. The safe is fairly light so it comes with bolts that you can attach to the wall. Properly attached it could be on a wall off the ground. This, presumably, will prevent it from being moved. It also has a “secret” compartment opened with a third key if you want to keep the recent will were you disinherit the family hidden. I was concerned that it was too small for a lot of papers but it has amble space. Also, it’s pretty. The good news, perhaps the best news, is that, although this product is from China, the directions are very easy to understand and simple including the admonition not to put the keys to the safe in the safe (there are places for hanging keys inside). Boy, do they know their clientele!

It’s ok
Wished it was a little bigger on the inside. I assumed the measurements were the inside for some reason. And it is soooo light I can carry it and I have a bad back. The other safe that I have that was bought somewhere else I couldn’t even budge it. So definitely bolt this thing down. I haven’t triend the digital part yet so it’s ok…. Really wished I would’ve returned for a bigger one but they are more expensive and I wanted to give it a chance.
