The product info statement says the product washes away germs and microbes. But it doesn’t kill them. Plain running water washes away germs and microbes…. If you’re looking for a product to kill germs and viruses (virii?) on your hands, look elsewhere.

I’ve continued buying it here because store prices have become unacceptably high. The quality is excellent, and the pleasant scent adds to its appeal. Good to refill pumps. Clear and not much scent. It is soap, so not really moisturizing but hey. Will get hands clean.Consistency is a cross between a gel and a liquid.
