I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered these. Sometimes the wooden clipboards are rough, but these were such a great deal ($16 for 12 clipboards!) that I ordered them. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy these are! They are very smooth with no rough edges. Very nice! I think these will hold up well with a class of 1st graders! Amazon brand for the win again!
