Mostly great. A little disappointing as a travel item.
This flosser is plenty strong and seems to do a good job flossing my teeth with water. My only complaint is that there is no where on the device to hold the attachments – which makes it not actually great for travel. If it just had a little clip or something to attach them – it would be perfect. (Or a travel bag would work.) Seems like a pretty big oversight for something that is specifically marketed as a travel item.

Awkward
I bought it because I wanted to upgrade my dental hygiene routine and this was very well-priced. But it’s not worth it even at that price.1. The water is filled from an opening about 1” from the bottom of the reservoir, which is awkward because you can never fill it entirely full. There’s always an air gap. It’s also awkward to clean because you can’t open up the bottom to dry off completely, and because the opening is located on the side, you can’t stick a cotton swap or twisted paper towel inside to get it dry. It says it’s dishwasher safe, but that must only be for the exterior or for someone who can expertly align the tiny opening with their dishwasher’s soap and rinse nozzles. They suggest adding vinegar to a cycle to clean any mineral build up, but don’t suggest how to disinfect the inside of the reservoir. I’d feel uncomfortable using this for any length of time due to mildew concerns.2. You can only use this when held vertically because the water is pumped from the bottom of the reservoir. The only way to get to your back teeth is by spraying them immediately after you fill them up or by awkwardly pulling your cheek wide and tilting your head down. To get the backside of your front teeth, you have to do some weird neck gymnastics. It is so cumbersome to use, and unfortunately especially in the tough-to-reach places where I need it most.3. There are 2 tips, but they’re unmarked besides one having a blue ring. There’s also no storage case. So not only would it be easy to lose or misidentify if you have other water flossers, but you also need to find a way to store the heads when not using.4. The reservoir holds closer to 20 seconds’ of use for me. I brush my teeth in quadrants for 2 minutes (my toothbrush will beep at me every 30 seconds and turn off after 2 minutes), but I’m unable to get even a quadrant of flossing done in one reservoir of water. It took me 6 refills to do my mouth, and I still found particles when I flossed with string after. Maybe this is user error and will just take time to develop the skills to use it, but I don’t see myself taking less than 4 refills per flossing session.5. The power button on mine is laughably sensitive. Because I have to refill it 6 times, on at least 4 my thumb will graze the power button and water will shoot all over my shirt, sink, or ceiling. Annoying to change clothes and clean up after, as well as need to be so overly cautious when using.6. I used the low pressure head, and it was still powerful enough to completely cover my mirror with backsplash from 16” away. There’s also so much water coming out that I had to lean over the sink with my mouth open to let it all drain.Might be great for a quick water fight? Perhaps using to blast bugs off small plants? But not for me. Returning. Don’t waste your money.

Defective
Purchased this product. Put the batteries in it. It would not turn off. Took batteries out tried again. Same thing happened. Tried new batteries and still would not turn off. When I try to complete a retun of this item it will not let me. It just keeps sending me to the “troubleshooting” page that does not offer any help.

Excellent for remote locations or camping.
Needed a water flosser for my wilderness cabin – this fits the bill perfectly.

A better design would be welcomed
The product works as expected and cleans well. The design feel very weird, especially when filling the water tank, the cap is weirdily located and the product gets really wet.

[...]I Oder this item it was to big! Sent it back and said refundable. Has been a month and no refund. When you order you should just order from Amazon and not independent people. Very disappointed I never receive a refund. –

A decent, more affordable Waterpik replacement
My equivalent Waterpik model died prematurely, so I went looking for an alternative. This one’s much cheaper, and seems to do the job just as well. I could complain about the unusually placed switch but won’t, really, because I’m already used to it, and unlike the Waterpik, it’s sealed in rubber membrane (a gasketless switch may be the Waterpik failed). My only negative is that the batteries that came with this product were garbage. The water jet was uselessly weak until I replaced them.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Buyer beware: This is a zero-star product that Amazon will not allow you to return or exchange if defective.I’ve been a long-time waterpik user, going through numerous worthy products, mostly Philips Sonicare versions that I”ve watched evolve and improve over the years and models I’ve owned. I took a chance, and paid the price for thinking the Amazon copy of the 2016 version of the Philips waterpik would be at least close in quality and function. IT DOES NOT EVEN COME CLOSE.The Amazon version is powered by two AA batteries, which I’ve used for a stretch of 5 years and two different waterpiks (including the aforementioned Philips product this Amazon one is nearly an identical copy of). In my lengthy experience, you get about a week’s worth of top-level power output using regular or higher-quality rechargeable batteries before the water output pressure weakens exponentially. But his Amazon version provides weak, ineffective water pressure from first use. The “high-pressure tip” advertised in the item description is weak sauce personified. I even used a digital multimeter to measure the charge level of a brand-new replacement set of AA batteries, and confirmed they were fully charged. After three days and three sets of new batteries all providing the same disappointing experience, I attempted to get a replacement because there is no way the product I received was providing the experience the item description depicted. Unfortunately, Amazon will not let me return the waterpik using their Orders>Return or Replace Item feature, instead directing me to online troubleshooting that does not address the product deficiencies, and at the end of the troubleshooting trail, you’re routed back to “Try Another Method” and pushed to the start of the troubleshooting section. At points it will offer you the option to “chat with assistant” but do not be deceived: the cake is a lie, and the “assistant” is an AI script. Well, not actually AI – it’s just another troubleshooting “script” with pre-canned responses that do not relate to whatever you type into the chat feature.I sucked it up and bought the current Philips waterpik model, and advise every customer to not be taken in by an item description that in no way will match the product you receive. Caveat emptor!

DOES THE JOB WELL!
This is all that you need! I had a Waterpik and just didn’t feel like spending $50 or more just to replace it, after loosing the charger. This works exactly the same way. And just because, I did check with my dentist about their expectations of a water flosser – just push that debris out. And this does exactly that for less.
