Beautiful board easy to clean
The board is very easy to clean and looks like does not leave any residue on the surface. At least two people are needed for installing this glass board. My friend helped me hang it together. With the pen holder comes, it can be installed for a few minutes. Would recommend it to my friends.

Regardless of what they claim their selling points are for these glass dry erase boards, they DO NOT work. It will not wipe clean and I’ve found nothing to clean them without leaving reminiscence of what was written before.

Amazon dropped the ball on this, won’t supply replacement parts and would not address my concerns
2 of 4 came in broken, all 4 came with damaged metal trays to hold eraser and markers. The 2 that were installed are barely magnetic at all. Tried several different magnets to hold up an single piece of paper and the weight of the printer paper alone made the paper and magnets slide down the board. So not at as advertised and when I tried addressing my concerns with Amazon and after talking to several levels of representatives this is what I was told. Return the two that are installed, as they will not send out another tray. Despite my concerns for having paid for profesional installation and if removijg from wall, having 8 holes in need of repair these concerns were not addressed. I just kept getting told return for refund and that is all they were willing to do for me. In conclusion DO NOT BUT These as they are barely magnetic and they won’t stand behind their product or give good customer service in addressing my concerns.

Not magnetic. Flimsy tray. Super heavy.
Not magnetic and the marker tray is flimsy. My tray was dented and also would not stick/adhere. Even if it had, it would never bear weight. So there’s no convenient way to keep erasers or markers nearby… Bought a ton of magnetic accessories that are now totally useless *and* I need to figure out storage for a freestanding board without surrounding furniture. Unfortunate. If it didn’t require butterflies to mount (don’t use the hardware provided; the board is heavy), I might have contemplated removing it and getting a better, bigger board to mount in the same spot/over the damage. I’m disappointed in Amazon, tbh. Poor quality and brand association for its own in house brand.

Good product， good service
The board is also very easy to clean, a dry kitchen roll is enough to remove the ink from the expo whiteboard pens. I don’t have any other pens to try, but I think I will replace this pen with colored ones in the future when it runs out. Delivery from the supplier is also very fast beyond expected. Although the cardboard box it came in would have been good enough,it was surrounded by a larger cardboard box, but this does not violate the product itself.

Supper happy, great product, excellent price and buy toggle bolts to be safe
Excellent quality, easy to schedule delivery and super happy with the product on the wall. The board has been up for a month with daily use. The board is magnetic however it will require “strong” magnets, we use mighty magnets, to actually hold anything on the board.The install is a two person job at a minimum, the board is super heavy. We used heavy duty toggle bolts, to ensure a strong attachment to the walls. The included hardware was not adequate based on our opinion.

Shattered Right After Installing
The day after we installed the whiteboard, we came in to find it completely shattered on the wall. We were very disappointed, as we’d just gotten the whiteboard. We were also disappointed to discover that the whiteboard does not actually stand off from the wall like other glass whiteboards we’ve bought.Unfortunately, we will NOT be buying another one of these whiteboards. We’ve had good luck with Amazon Basics before and were excited to see them start selling glass whiteboards.

Not Overly Functional
The frosting is too light and allows the board to take on too much of the color of the background wall color. NOT white or even close to it.The hardware that it comes mounted with is cheap and a bit concerning for safety as this product is glass and you certainly don’t want this to fall. Having said that, mine has been up for several weeks and i don’t expect it to be too big of an issue.Biggest complaint is the metal tray does NOT stick to the glass if you actually put any weight on it. so, my markers and dry eraser are constantly on the fall. i think the tape/stickiness used on this product must just be the super cheap kind. If the tray would stay on and provide functional support for the board, I would probably give this 3.5 stars, maybe 4.I will be looking for a replacement.

Heavy, solid, ready to clean. But don’t use the template provided. The paper stretches, and your holes will be wrong. Use a long level, instead, marking it.Also, the magnetic backing is very poor… Barely works. The boards color is off white, with a bluish tint.

Don’t trust the measurement guide
It’s a big glass board for not that much money, but not really a great value. For mounting, you get a thin strip of paper that has both the measurements for the top and sides on it – this means that you are going to spend extra time mounting it making sure that everything is square. I did this, being very careful to drill the holes then discovered that the mounting guide was 1/4″ off! This is especially bad since it meant patching, re-drilling and re-measuring everything. The backing of the whiteboard doesn’t have enough frosting and it sits really close to the wall meaning you’ll see the texture on the wall. The metal “caps” are just caps that pressure fit on plastic – I can see those popping off in the near future and getting lost. All that said, it looks “OK” from afar, but would not recommend this to anyone.

The board is great – it looks clean and professional in the space and erases beautifully. The mounting hardware and instructions are a little flimsy and, as I have cement board walls, I had to replace the anchors and screws with more hardy ones. The mounting instructions don’t explain how to level the board so, you should look up how to level a board before you start.

Missing Hardware and Difficult to Hang
The 8′ X 4′ box arrived ripped open across one side. I could,’t believe that the glass wasn’t broken after seeing the damage to the box but the hardware was missing. I contacted Amazon support for replacement hardware/screws. My call was transferred 5 times and each time I had to explain who I was and my support issue. Rather than shipping back a very heavy glass 4′ X 6′ GLASS board I was pleading with support to just send the small bag of missing screws / hardware. It’s also difficult to hang without three strong people.

Great looking board with great quality
Firstable, this board looks amazing with no frame, and frosted white color glass surface. It fits perfectly in my office!! Talking about the dry-erase feature, it is probably 10x better than regular dry erase board. I guess the reason is this thing is made of glass and it should be easier to clean. Overall, it is a great product with cheaper price than other branded glass boards.Very happy for this purchase!!

I bought this board at a discount
I bought 3 of these boards to replace my 20 year old dry erase boards. They are very wide, but I like that. The installation does require at least three people, as the boards are heavy. Two people need to hold the board, while one drills in the screws to the wall. The mounting system is very easy. However, it took us using a laser level to properly level the board on the wall.

Depends on how cheap you can get it
So, I managed to snag a 4 X 8 board for $168. Seemed like a great deal, especially as the price jumped to $307 after I bought it.I was wrong.The first board was shattered by the delivery company, and I refused to accept it. It then took a week to get another one delivered. The second one was delivered by a couple of guys in a rental truck. They needed my assistance to carry it inside.I was hoping to get something at least slightly comparable to a Quartet board. It’s not even close. First off, it’s super thin. Only about 1/8th of an inch. With a 4 by 8 piece that means it flexes A LOT. Quartet and other boards use sign standoffs to hold the board out from the wall. Not this one! It’s meant to be mounted flat, something I could not do with a painted concrete block wall. And the holes drilled in it are tiny – about 5 mm. You can’t buy a stand off with a screw that small. So I used small spacers to get it about a quarter inch off the wall. Mistake – now it flexes a lot when written on. The translucent one is fairly translucent, and has an almost gray/green sheen to it mounted on a pure white wall.I’m still debating sending it back.If you can get it for cheap, it’ll work. But nowhere near what I expected from an AmazonBasics product.

Very nice board, but the installation…
The 8ft magnetic dry-erase board is really nice – everyone stops by my office to comment on it. But there were issues installing it.First, the shelf is supposed to stay on just by sticking to the glass – it doesn’t. And mine arrived damaged (pictured). So it definitely won’t stick to the glass. So I’ve had to install brackets on the wall underneath to hold it in place.Second, they supply a paper strip “template” for locating the holes to hang it. I found this to be more trouble than it’s worth and eventually just measured everything. When I went to hang the glass the only holes that did not line up where they were supposed to were the ones created with the template. It would’ve been easier if the instructions just listed the measurements and told you to make the holes x inches apart.Also, in the instructions it says it cannot be hung on drywall – but most offices are drywall. On the other hand, the kit includes very small drywall anchors (not sure what other material you could effectively put them into?) – not adequate for something of this weight. I purchased from a store the strongest drywall anchors available and they seem to work fine.

Great board!
When I decided I needed a whiteboard of some kind for my home office, I remembered seeing glass boards in my previous corporate office and was curious if you could get them on a smaller (less expensive) scale. Sure enough, I found exactly what I was looking for in this glass board! It’s slim, modern, and blends in with the wall. Plus, it doesn’t look cheap (or make your home office look like a classroom) like a regular whiteboard would. It’s perfect for my needs! The installation was a bit of a pain and took some thinking/measuring to get right – I wish they would just provide a true template rather than an irregular piece of paper to trace on but we managed and the hardware provided feels of decent quality and is holding well in our wall (we used all four anchors since we didn’t hit a stud).

Great for the Price, Terrible Tray
I have no idea how Amazon makes money on these things. The first one shipped broke. I talked to my wife and she says that the same happened for several at her office. The second one came from special shippers. Two guys with just this in their truck.Anyway, the glass is I expect as nice as any other glass (which is to say, the ideal whiteboard material). So a board this large for this price is fantastic.The mounting hardware is incredibly cheap and the marker tray attaches literally with a sticker–which is to say that it doesn’t stay attached. It’s mind boggling that anyone thought this was a reasonable idea. You will need to come up with your own way to keep this thing attached. Maybe micro clamps?That said, I’d still buy another and am even thinking about it. Because the glass board itself is so nice and such a bargain.

Better than the old dry erase, because it will erase.
Dry erase markers come off this pretty easy, and that is why I will be sticking with something like this in my training center. It is not very magnetic, but I don’t need it to be. The marker shelves (i have two of these side by side) fell off overnight, but I keep markers at my podium anyway. Installing these is as stressful as installing a large mirror, minus the bad luck thing, but the glass on it is a little forgiving and will accept a very slight contour variance in the wall. Considering how much any other glass option costs, buying these was a no brainer for me, and I would probably buy the same ones again if I put together another classroom.

Nice glass board, marker tray fell off.
The board is nice quality. It arrived without damage despite the packaging looking terrible. Functionally it works fine with two exceptions. The magnets that come with it are not strong enough to hold anything, and the double-stick tape that is supposed to hold the marker tray in place is not strong enough to even hold the tray itself, much less with any markers on it. It fell off in less than 5 minutes.Because it’s glass, any imperfections in how straight the wall is that it’s being mounted on will be immediately obvious. I chose to support a small gap between the glass and the drywall with a small piece of rubber. Otherwise, pressing on it even slightly would cause some flex in the glass which would be worrisome. With the rubber pieces behind it, the glass now feels solid with no flex so I expect it to last for a very long time.

Excellent whiteboard
I have an Iceberg glass board elsewhere, but opted for the AmazonBasics version this time around based on price and reviews. While I don’t think it’s of the same high quality as the Iceberg, it’s an excellent alternative.The mounting for this board is four plastic washers with screws and wall anchors. Once the board is screwed in, there are thin aluminum caps to cover the plastic washers. It’s effective, but the plastic feels quite thin and I was worried I tightened a screw too much and cut through the washer. This mechanism also leaves no space between the board and the wall.The Iceberg unit uses a slightly better mounting mechanism. The screws and anchors are still there, but you mount a standoff to the wall instead. The board attaches to the standoffs with a metal screw that has a plastic washer on it, using the plastic as a flexible buffer between the metal of the standoff and the glass of the board. In the end, it’s quite effective in securing the board and prevents any imperfections in the wall from affecting the board itself.Regardless, the AmazonBasics board is definitely a worthy lower cost solution.

Great value – flimsy tray – MAKE SURE THE DELIVERY PEOPLE KNOW IT IS GLASS!!!
This was easy to setup – we used some 29″ high tables to set the height – set the board on those, marked where the holes went and then took it down put in the anchors, the put it back up and done. Took about 30 minutes.The packing is fairly flimsy and does not indicate it is a giant sheet of glass — the delivery people almost shattered it coming off the truck as her partner did not help her get it down and she held one end and lifted it off the 4′ high end of the truck and it bent into an arc as she tried in a panic to get it on the ground.I think the only thing that kept it from breaking was the laminated metal on the back. if it was just the glass it would have broke for sure. SO if you’re there – make sure they know it is glass and that it should be carried carefully – there is no marking on the outside of the package to tell them that.My only criticism is the tray — it is very flimsy and is held on 3m HDP tape – once on it is on… but feels very cheap and is not rigid at all.

Shattered after hanging on the wall for almost 3 years.
I bought this glass dry-erase board for the office in June 2021. It’s been hanging on the wall for almost three years. Today it shattered for no apparent reason.

Nice board, poor marker tray
This board is over the top great on everything but the tray for the markers! The tray is held on with double sided tape which didn’t hold longer than one day. What a disappointment. Seriously for such a quality board, you would think they could come up with a better design for the markers!

Great whiteboard for our research team
Probably a great time to buy this due to the price, but overall we are happy with changing out our old chalkboard for this new whiteboard! For the 8×4 whiteboard, you definitely need more than 2 people to safely mount it. The template would have been helpful, but our guys are pros and got it set up in under 20 minutes. This is set up at a university lab, so it will get some good use to probably tell if it deteriorates or not.I took a star off because it’s kind of a pain to have to buy stronger magnets, but neodymium magnets should do the trick.

Very nice little board for the price
Love that it’s glass and wipes 100% clean. The laminate ones eventually get so stained they look awful. Comes with a marker and an eraser, too, which I wasn’t expecting.I have it in a bedroom because of working from home this year, so I also bought this clean little gallery shelf that’s the same width and mounted it to the wall below the board. Magnetic is not strong enough to hold dry erase products like pens.
Love the size, love the look, but the magnetic material needs to be stronger. Does not hold magnets very well. I have ordered several different options for pens and have not been able to find one that will stay on the board.

Easy install
Relatively easy to install. I am an office guy, not a shop dude but I was able to install it myself in about one hour with only the help of a couple of coworkers to hold it up while I screwed it in.It is a basic whiteboard. Does the job. The tray is holding up just fine.

Absolutely Love It!
This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. We were able to install it with few issues – the little paper guide it comes with for installation seemed to be missing some detail, but we were able to work through it. Make sure you can install this into studs in the wall – it’s very heavy!The thing I love most about this whiteboard is that it cleans super easy. It doesn’t leave that ghost image like most whiteboards do, because it’s glass. I am such a perfectionist and that really drives me insane when I can still read something that I erased weeks ago, so this is a perfect answer to that problem! It’s SO WORTH the extra $$$.

Very nice board
I ordered the 6×4 dry erase board and it looks really nice. Dry erase marker colors show up vividly. However, the tray that holds the markers only comes with some kind of double sided tape and it does not hold on the wall (this means the tray is not attached to the board like some other brands). Mine has fallen off the wall multiple times. I recommend finding something to hold the tray up (command strips, etc). This is why I only gave it 4 stars, it would be 5 if the supplier found a way for the tray to stay on the wall or attach it to the board. Also, the board is not magnetic but it is not a deal breaker. Other than the issue with the tray, I would recommend this board.

Didn’t come with mounting hardware! – updated >:(
Got a glass whiteboard, a marker tray & an eraser… but NO HARDWARE!! Impossible to hang this without the hardware, usually they are taped to the glass but it was left out! I have 9 or 10 of these at my office and never had this problem before, I’ll change the review once this is fixed >:(UPDATE 8/7/19After getting the wrong hardware sent, Amazon had a replacement sent out. Now that we have received it and see the hardware, it is completely different from every other glass whiteboard we have in my office which are Quartet, Global & Audio Visual. These are the standards and what we were expecting this Amazon Basics 4’x3′ to be just like… NOT the case. Very disappointed in not only the hassle we’ve had to go through for weeks to only receive a whiteboard that flush mounts to the wall and has a cheap plastic cap as opposed to the standard mounting hardware. We are really honestly not sure we want to hang it, it looks completely different from all the others!It is magnetic but not as strong as the other brands.The install instructions are super sub par, there is a strip of paper as a template and just really poor directions with no detail as far as wording and what to do… but you can figure it out..The dimensions vary from the other brands, length and width is exactly 36″x48″ which is a bit larger than the others by about 1/2″-3/4″ either way, (why the others weren’t exact idk..) so if you planned on having one side by side with one of the offset brands don’t, it will look completely different and you won’t be happy, if it’s going in some office or place by itself and you don’t care then go for it.It is a frosted glass whiteboard but really a totally different style and more difficult to mount, different dimensions, cheap hardware bigtime(plastic) & poor directions.In this case there is a reason it was cheaper than the others and for good reason, but buyers beware…The other brands mentioned are simply worth the cost difference, which is maybe $20 if that, I’d not leave a review of this nature if it hadn’t thoroughly frustrated me/us at this point.Not changing the review because of the difficulty involved with everything, clear intent to undercut the other brands with a sub par product and inadequate images to show just what you’re getting… and COMPLETE inability to reach the seller to top it all… we still have to package up the 1st one and have UPS take it away so this fiasco still isn’t over…

Pleased overall but could use some improvement
I am pleased with this product. However for the cost the metal parts that attach to the wall could be nicer like the one I purchased for my kitchen (different brand). Also you can only use a certain type of magnet. Regular magnets do not work. I ordered some magnets for glass dry erase boards and hope they work. Otherwise, I will only have the two magnets that came with the board. Also there is a special eraser that came with it that you gave to use. Unfortunately the one that came with mine was damaged.

Looks very stylish and easy to use
I really love how it fits the wall. We bought 5 of them. And even though it took some nerves to get these fragile pieces in the office, I never regret of the choice.Highly recommended!
