Easy to put together, seat could have a bit more cushion
One week in, seems like a quality made product. Ergonomics work. After spending 8hrs sitting a few days in a row I’m finding the seat cushion to be a little lacking (I’m 220 lbs). Can’t speak to the bang for the buck, it wasn’t cheap but cheaper than any name brand. I can recommend for part-time use but for full-time I would likely go for something more expensive and comfortable.

New office chair
Really easy assembly. Nice looking chair & seems comfortable. Replacing an executive chair so it seems/feels much much smaller. This will take time to adjust to a smaller replacement, overall I believe it will be fine.

Good for short periods
This chair is a good bang for buck chair, easy to put together, and looks good. It is a great chair for sitting briefly but if like me, you need to sit for 8+ hours it does start to hurt (at least for me) due to the back being so low. There was also a small scratch on it when I received it but overall a good product.

It’s a basic chair
If you’re looking for a luxury chair, this isn’t it. It’s not that soft, so that brings the comfort of it down a notch. However, if it was that bad, I’d send it back. I can’t afford a luxury chair right now, so this will work until then. The chair depth is kind of short for me, so my legs hang over more than I like (I’m 5’6″). I placed a footrest underneath my desk and that, with the chair tilted back, is an ideal, comfortable enough position. Without the footrest, I have to use my feet to keep the chair tilted, and that is not comfortable on my back. I also have a chair cushion on the seat, so it’s a bit more comfortable. The backrest was a bit of a struggle to assemble, but not out of the norm for office chairs. The chair is sturdy; doesn’t squeak and not loose anywhere. The color isn’t really white, it’s more of an off white. I don’t know what it is, but it seems every time something is described as white on Amazon, it’s not a true white. The price of this chair is another reason why I’m keeping it. Not too many chairs in that price range that are somewhat decent. If I was working from home, I think I’d get another chair. I can’t see sitting in this without significant pain after 8 hours. The name speaks for itself; Amazon BASICS.

WARNING low back
The chair is nice and comfy for the price. But be MINDFUL the back of the chair is short. It hits just below my scapula which is pretty low. I am 5 foot 6 female with an average torso. I’m going to keep the chair but I wish I had paid better attention to this detail.

Great price chair
I recently turned a spare bedroom into an office and needed a nice chair to go with my new desk. After comparing several different chairs from retail stores and several on Amazon I decided to order this one.My decided factor was ultimately the price. I do not work from home and just use my office a few days a week, a couple hours at a time so I didn’t need a $200+ chair. I didn’t want the mesh back and I like the fact that this one has the arms and it is super padded and comfortable to be a smaller chair. As far as size, my husband who is almost 200lb, could sit in it comfortably. Anyone 200lb+ or on the taller side, this chair is probably not the best choice. I also can’t say how comfortable it would be if you WFH and use it multiple hours a day.Overall, I am super happy with my purchase and the quality of the chair. I also want to add that putting it together was pretty easy. Leave the arms loose until you get the back on then tighten everything up.

Comfortable and Sturdy
This office chair is comfortable and sturdy. I typically don’t get sore/stiff even sitting for a few hours in the chair. I’ve had it for a year so far and I’ve had no trouble with the faux leather peeling or anything like that.

Sturdy And Durable Chair
This is a faux leather desk/computer chair, so I really didn’t expect much when I purchased it two years ago to replace a quite expensive leather chair. I wanted to have it a while before giving it a review in order to gauge the quality. I use it daily at my computer station and admit I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it has held up. It was easy to assemble, is pretty well padded and is very comfortable overall. I don’t know if I would recommend it for heavy-duty all day office type use, but for my home needs it has done quite well. Faux leather covering has a habit of cracking and peeling over time, it is just a matter of when. This particular chair (in brown) still looks as good as the day I got it. If you want an inexpensive chair for daily home use, It would be hard to beat this one.

Easy to setup, comfortable, and perfect if you replace wheels
I’ve had a few desk chairs in this price range over the years. Most recently an Ikea chair. This chair is far superior. For one, it took maybe 20 minutes to put together and no tools outside of what was provided in the package were required. The chair itself is more comfortable and supportive than expected. I bought separate wheels (similar to rollerblade wheels) and they fit perfectly, and make the chair even better.

RFor home office use this chair is a real bargain
Since the COVID 19 lockdown about 2-1/2 years ago I have been mostly working from home, occasionally going to work at the office or integration labs. I had been using an office chair from a local school, that was somewhat comfortable but very heavy, a bear to move and had fixed height. I was looking for a little flexibility in my seating arrangement and ran across this little chair. I think it was a great find. Assembled easily enough and the height adjustment is fine – I leave it at full height. Rolls easily and is not heavy at all. The seat is as some have noted a little small, but at the end of the day I really don’t notice it.For light home office use I think this chair is fine and a bargain. I have not looked for other chars since I received this chair. Nice little home office chair. I do not think this would hold up in a commercial environment, the fabric or pleather does not seem as robust as the chairs we have at work.

Not comfortable but still functioning after 7 yrs
I got this chair 7 years ago and still have it, but the seat has begun to peel. It gets light use, as in it is sat in for 3/4 hrs one time a week. It’s not very comfortable, so it was moved out of the central office to a less used office. Hardly any padding for seat and it sits very forward in the back. Good news, it’s still around after 7 yrs, but I wouldnt buy it again because its uncomfortable and not my first choice to sit in,but I’m committed to using it until it falls apart because I like to save pennies.

Great Value
Great value, basic chair, does what you need it to do. It’s holding up fine after many months of daily use working from home. If you’re a big guy, this chair is probably a little bit narrrow, the arm rests will limit your man-spread.

Quality padded home office chair
I work from home and sit at a desk for 6-8 hours per day. I had a mesh ergo chair for about 3 years, but the seat padding started to wear so needed a replacement.Assembly was about what you would expect from an office chair, anybody that has put an office chair together would have no problem with this one. All bolts tightened without too much trouble. Casters attached to the base firmly. No issues at all with assembly. The seat padding has held up well and is just enough to stay comfortable yet firm on long work days. The padded arm rests are still like new. The back padding is soft and cool, no complaints. It’s not terribly ergonomic, but that really wasn’t my primary purpose for buying the chair, needed something with good padding and durability. Padding on arms, back, and seat has not faded at all.The pneumatic lever controls height, no problem with it staying at same height all the time (previous chairs of mine would creep up in height every few days and would have to re-adjust). Tilt works as expected, allows for leaning back just enough but not enough to make you feel like you’re falling backward! Chair is on carpet and I don’t use a chair mat… Chair rolls easily on carpet.Overall, great chair and would buy again.

Pretty good, but not great
This is a totally functional chair, and for the price I definitely can’t complain. As I’m moving to a new city, I’ve been using this chair pretty much every day as I’m waiting to get a couch delivered for more comfortable sitting. With that said, the chair is very comfortable and I haven’t gotten sore sitting on it after extended periods. Some minor things that prevented my from giving it a full five stars though. First, the assembly was a bit annoying. The instructions were clear and concise, but it was a little awkward getting the arm rests and seat back screwed together. The screws are quite short, and I had some issues getting them to catch the thread. Luckily it’s something I will only need to do once, so no big deal.Another small gripe is that I wish the back went up more. This isn’t really a fault of the chair because it clearly states it is ‘mid-back’ only, but it would be nice to have something to rest my head against. This chairs ends right at my shoulder blades though, so that’s not possible. Considering the AmazonBasics high-back model is another $50 though, I probably would have gone with this model regardless. Finally, if you have wood floors be sure to buy a mat along with this. I live in an old building with original wood floors, and I noticed that the wheels were scuffing the surface after only a couple days. I’m not sure if this is really a fault of the chair or the old age of the flooring, but be prepared to invest another $30 in a mat to prevent making marks.Overall, a perfectly good chair for an unbeatable price. Would be great for someone just using it a couple hours a day, or a university student setting up his/her first apartment.

6 years with a teenager
We bought this for our 13 yr old son in 2017. The mechanical parts are still working. The base and seat swivel are still solid and the wheels still move freely and quietly. The vinyl is flaking off all over and a plastic arm rest cover broke off a few years ago. You can see he’s duck taped a few spots. Paid $64.99 which was a good bargain for 2017. As of this review it’s listed at $137 which I think is steep for the quality. Keep in mind it’s survived six teenage boy years of gaming. Maybe it would fare better in an adult office setting, but if you’re shopping for a chair for a teenager this is what you’ll likely have when they move out.

Quickly loses its back stability
The chair is OK but quickly loses its padding and starts allowing too much back tilting which is uncomfortable for long use.

My bootay is soooooo happy! 😄🙊
Can I just say, thank you so much to my girl for buying this for me😍. Let me explain the wwww and w . Who is using it, Why and where – I’m disabled , I make every meal from scratch, and can’t stand in the kitchen. I needed a safe rolling chair that could stand all 5’8 118 lbs riding it hard , and not leave me landing right on my bunny bone against the cold, hard tile . The What and When of it all- this Chair☚ is what’s up , and I use it every single freaking day multiple times. This is what you need in your home. After the chair is put together(super easy yall) you have no worries . I roll across the kitchen with ease, and onto my carpeted floor (not cheap carpet either , medium fluffiness). Its very annoying to be disabled, and leasing an apartment that you can’t fit to your needs. I wasn’t born like this ,so I had to figure out how to accommadate myself to the world around me. Wheelchairs do not reach the counter, and anyone who cooks regularly knows a cook utilizes every part of their kitchen, so a chair that stays still just gets in the way. I have toppled over many many times trying the stretch and reach method. I don’t like using reachers due to the droppage and slippage, I have very long arms, and am very cheap , so I just kept trying to deal.🆘 When my girl bought this for me she literally saved me from killing myself one day. I am very long , very very long lol, but I have a derriere and I need a comfy spot for it. When I lean back, this Chair provides support for my back and cushion for my tuffet. Even better, my tiny girlfriend can adjust the seat so she isn’t kicking her legs trying to roll forward, then ending up looking like an angry Yosemite Sam. If any of your needs are close to mine, or if you need an inexpensive desk chair that fits in small spaces (my kitchen is definitely in that category ) just get this and make your life easier. Better this than stitches or a cast (again ,I fell a lot lol) 😶😊😉

Nice office chair
My wife ordered this chair for me as a surprise gift. At first I thought it might not be what I wanted because the back was not as high as an “executive” type of chair. After assembling it and using it for a while, I can say it is really comfortable with good support. Assembly was easy. I am only 5 ft. 9 in. so the size of the chair’s back is adequate for me. I am retired so do not sit in the chair all day long like I previously did when working from home.

uncomfortable seat back angle!!!
Faux leather is obvious – expected for a $75 item. The back is far too vertical (feels like it’s tilted forward) and non-adjustable, leaving extended sitting quite uncomfortable. Return process for an item this size is too difficult and so I’ll keep it – grudgingly.

A great chair for the money, with one caveat.
This is a replacement for an old-fashioned wooden desk chair for a great and large old-fashioned desk. The old chair just wore out, as the threaded stem which is used for raising and lowering was completely stripped. This would be a very comfortable chair at a very good price, except that it can’t be locked in a tilted-back position. The instructions weren’t perfectly clear on the use of the lever extending out from under the chair. Up-down was clear enough, but what I finally determined to be forward-back (or in-out) wasn’t. It seems that it is used only as a lock to keep the chair tilted fully forward. With the tilt unlocked spring tension (or is it compression?) is too strong to allow me to sit in a somewhat reclined position. I will live with sitting more upright than I’d like, hoping to get used to it, because a good alternative is way more expensive.

Comfortable chair
I purchased this chair to replace a broken computer chair that I had for years, and it was a great choice. It was easy to assemble with only one tool needed (an included Allen wrench), and is comfortable – although it takes some trial and error to find the right back tension. My only complaint was that the assembly instructions are mostly drawings with not much text, but that seems to common these days. I was baffled when I first started assembling the chair until I realized that I had the armrests mixed up (right on left side and vice-versa). Then the assembly proceeded quickly.

It’s alright
Overall it looks pretty good, the white is quite white almost like star war troopers white. The seat is not too deep so you may want to consider that, I’m petite so it’s ok for me. I like the height control, a simple pull of the lever up/down, works well. Swivel smoothly, it glides great on my wood floor. The back is not very ergonomic, but it does have a control for tilt. I loosened up the knob at the bottom of the seat, but couldn’t figure out what to do with the lever based on the diagram, pull left or right, how? Tried different things but the tilt seems more or less the same, so it’s not like it actually reclines I guess. I do not have enough weight to push the back further, the default angle is not great but acceptable. The tough part is the assembly, instructions are not so clear. For the wheels, I tried to push them into the base, but they won’t go in, not sure if I should force them in and risk breaking the plastic wheels. After fighting with the chair for a long time, the wheels finally went in. Also, attaching the armrests on the seat is very tough after you’ve already put the seat on the the base with the wheels on them. The whole thing moves around. They should have you put the armrests onto the seat first, before putting the seat onto the base.Anyway, I think in general, Ikea chairs are better quality, more comfortable, and easier to assemble. I will have to see about the comfort level over time, may add a little cushion to see if it helps. But for now I really needed a fairly good looking mid-back chair that rolls well and this one does the job.

Comfortable and Durable Office Chair with Room for Improvement
As someone who spends long hours at the desk, I know the importance of having a reliable and comfortable office chair. I recently purchased this chair, and while it has some notable strengths, it does have a few areas that could use improvement.Let’s start with the positive aspects. The comfort level of this chair is surprisingly good. The cushioning is plush, providing a pleasant sitting experience even during extended work sessions.Another impressive feature is the chair’s durability. I was initially concerned about its longevity, as some other chairs I’ve had in the past started to flake and show signs of wear within a few months. However, this chair has pleasantly surprised me in this regard. Its materials seem to hold up well, and it has not shown any signs of flaking or significant wear within 1 month of (VERY) regular use.The main drawback of this chair is its support, which falls short of my expectations. While the chair is comfortable, it lacks sufficient lumbar support, especially for those who suffer from lower back issues. I find myself using an additional lumbar cushion to address this issue. If you don’t have specific back issues and are primarily looking for a comfortable and sturdy chair on a budget, this chair could be a suitable option. Nevertheless, those seeking superior support and adjustability might need to explore other alternatives on the market.

Great Swivel Chair at a Great price
I recently purchased a swivel chair from Amazon and have been quite pleased with my purchase. I would give it a solid 4-star rating. The chair offers fantastic quality, especially considering its affordable price point. The chair’s assembly was straightforward and hassle-free, taking me just a short amount of time to put it together. Once assembled, I was impressed by its sturdy construction and comfortable design. The cushioning is just right, providing a comfortable seating experience for extended periods. The swivel mechanism works smoothly, allowing me to easily move around and access different areas of my workspace. It’s also worth noting that the chair’s materials and overall build feel durable and well-crafted, which is a pleasant surprise given its price. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive models, this swivel chair delivers excellent value for the money. If you’re in the market for a reliable and reasonably priced office chair, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

A little difficult to assemble. Word of caution: “tighten” the screws at the very end.For the money and quick shipping, it was worth it.

Very comfy
It’s probably the best one I’ve had. The cushion is great and soft, now my back doesn’t hurt after sitting there for a couple of hours.

It’s good. Not great.
Figured for the price it would be better. Comfortable but noisy when I move in this chair. If it lasts a year or two I will be lucky.

Super easy to put together
got this chair for my mom to use when shes at our house, and she loves it. the chiar took maybe 10/15 minutes to put together and is very durable. my mom has hip problems so its important for her to have support and sitting 8 plus hours a day in this chair is not a problem. a good find and would recommend for other people!

It worked for two years, then the cheap plastic construction broke and it is useless
It was reasonably comfortable, but poorly designed. The bottom of the seat has plastic with no metal at all. And at the back, which has the most stress if you lean back, There is a pin going through the plastic that is almost half the width. So as you lean back it stresses a small but of cast plastic again and again. The plastic has no more strength than a 1×2 board. So any time you might stretch it can break. All looks and no real strength. For the price, I basically paid $4.50 a month to have a chair. Nothing you buy today can you see how it is made before you buy it. Am I upset because they did not put a few minutes extra thought and a dollars worth if steel into the design? This is how everything is made now, perhaps. “Oh, you want one that lasts? That cost extra” I hope in heaven things never break. My sights are very low now. Heaven is when things you buy actually work. It used to be a chair would last two or three decades or longer. This is a good chair, just do not lean back.

Nice Chair
Good overall. Had this for three years no issues. Leans back with ease. Have not broken the arm rests but am careful where putting weight – don’t put all your weight in the open middle where it’s the weakest. It’s also a smaller chair if you can’t tell by the dimensions. Could use more padding in the seat but can’t beat the price, especially on sale.

Solid chair, bad instruction
Let me just say that whoever made the instructions never made the chair themselves, because it is clearly flawed. You should attach the armrest to the seat, then the back of your chair, then attach to the wheels. Otherwise, the chair keeps rolling while you try to attach the back of the seat.As for the product, it is a solid chair, good for the price. The armrest has paddings and quite comfortable. One thing I did not notice when I was placing the order is that the back is quite short, it does not have paddings for your head – might be a slight issue to use reclining feature. But overall, it is good for the price, I just cannot give five stars with the foolish instructions.

A Great chair, but I will have to go with another
I’ll make this short and sweet. I’ve had the chair set up all of 25 minutes now, and I have already decided that I am going to go to a physical store, try some out, and purchase one from there. Now let me say a few things. Putting the chair together was a breeze! Super easy to do, and that was a huge plus. Now, after setting the chair up, I’ve played with multiple settings, and I can not find one that I am really comfortable in. I should have chose a chair that has recline to it. I constantly feel like I’m tilting forward, even with the adjustments to the max. Don’t get me wrong, the cushions are super comfortable, but for me (6′ tall 200lbs), the chair just can not go into a “correct” position for me.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this chair to anyone, it’s great for what it is, and for the price, but I will be going to a physical store tomorrow and I will be trying a few chairs out before buying a more executive style chair. I was really looking for extra extra padding, and recline, but I wanted to give this one a shot just because of the ease of set up and the ease of ordering. For the record, I will be keeping this chair in my other room, and I will NOT be returning it. It will be nice in a place in my house that I don’t use very much.

The AmazonBasics Mid-Back Office Chair provides solid support, and a “just right” cushion for a very low price.
When I was on the hunt for an office chair, I stumbled across this one and decided to give it a go, as it was from AmazonBasics. I have trusted the brand from USB cables to other everyday products. This is the most expensive product I have bought from AmazonBasics, and compared to other office chairs, this is especially a good deal, even better if you have Prime membership. I have owned an executive chair for my home office, and compared to this office chair, my old executive felt like I bought it from a one dollar store. This new chair has more more cushion and support than my old chair, and has a softer texture than what the pictures suggest. Unfortunately for this price, there had to be some compromises. The first one is that there is not a good ratio for the bottom and top cushions. The bottom cushion sticks out by about 3 inches from the end of the armrest, which makes the top portion hard to dig into, as it can’t tilt already. Also, this is more situated to a home office rather than an actual office, as it takes more force than other chairs to move because of the size itself. Also, the height adjustment is very silly, as you need to do some moving to get to the desired height you want to be at. Also, don’t expect this chair to be tall, as it is about 4 inches shorter than my older executive chair that I don’t use anymore. Also, my old executive chair was not from AmazonBasics, so the executive chair AmazonBasics makes should be on the top of your home office or office supply list if you are tall and need a taller chair. Other than that, this office chair gives more comfort and support for less, as this kind of quality would not be seen on a lot of executive office chairs that cost over $200. Although this chair has a few trade-offs, overall, if you are on a budget, this chair is the way to go.

Not an every day, heavy usage chair, or for heavier people, but it gets the job done for light use.
I primarily got this chair for my office, which I work in about 2-4 times a week for about 6 hours each day, on average. Not exactly a daily sitter. The reason I got this is so I can lean back and put my feet up on a foot rest. As far as the lean goes, you can’t adjust the position of the back relative to the seat, like most chairs with lean adjustment do. It also doesn’t lock the position. It basically just lets to lock the chair in flat regular position, or be lose and lean back, but without locking. It’s not that big of a deal. It’s easy to stay in the lean back position with my feet up. It gets the job done.I didn’t see a reason to buy a really expensive office chair for something I don’t use often. Not to mention, plenty of more expensive ones suck and are uncomfortable. I have a $180 chair at home that has gone strong for 6 years now and provides excellent ergonomic adjustment. I sit in that for hours on end with no back issues or carpal tunnels or whatever. If you have your ergonomics dialed in, you can do this crap all day. (try and get up at least every half hour though). That all being said, I can tell that if I were sitting in it daily, the cushioning would lose it’s form and softness pretty quickly, and the fake leather would wear out fast. It’s not built for a bigger or heavier person. I’m only about 165lbs, but I’d say 180 – 190lbs is it’s max. Anything above would would put some serious stress on the leaning. At my weight, it would be pretty easy to break it the base if I wanted to force it.That being said…. the chair was $50, and offers some learning support and up and down. Given the price I paid at $55, I give it 4 stars. I’d be a 3 star at $75. At that price, I’d just spend a little more for something nicer.

Not a chair worth keeping for me 2.75 stars
I will say up front that I am not a mechanically inclined person. I am more of the IT, logical type, so take that into account.I found this to be frustrating to put together. You open the paper that came with it and they give you a lay out of the items included in the box, tell you how to care for the chair and such. No instructions on how to assemble, it immediately goes into other languages, I assume for the same information that was provided on the first page. So, I started my best to assemble as it looks fairly easy. I got to one step that I was having trouble with and in frustration happened to pick up the little book from the back. There were the instructions. What logic tells you to burry the instructions 10 pages deep after covering useless information in a 1/2 dozen different languages. The like all these kinds of products, there wasn’t really any directions just images and you are left to try and pick out what the writer means. I guess it was too complicated to write directions. How about this – if you are too lazy to write out detail directions to go along with your images, at least include a URL, Qcode to a video that shows the customer someone assembling it.All that said, I was able to assemble the char in about 20 minutes, sat in it for a bit and found it to be uncomfortable. I am maybe 5’6 ant 200 pounds, this chair fit really well on the seat part but came up to below my shoulder blades. This caused the bone to rub on the top of the chair.Additionally, the predrilled holes didn’t 100% align, so precision and design were gaps when it comes to this product.Product returned

met expectations with some notable shortcomings
Chair is easy to assemble and supportive, but I do have a number of quibs:1. The seat cushioning is not dense enough. You effectively SIT on the hard plastic frame.2. The faux leather covering is soft but not durable. I see tears and scratches in the near future.3. Smaller than expected. Best suited for medium build, large-mediums (180lb+) need not applyso there you have it, 100 buck computer chair. caveat emptor.

Useful for sitting on.
Purchased for business. It’s been over a week and this particular employee has not fallen out of the chair so I think we can deem this a successful purchase. However….”it’s early days”. Anything could happen. Gravity is not just a law…..it’s a good idea.
