This is one of the better power strips I have purchased. It’s easy to use and I like the brightness of the status indicators. It has a standard 3 prong plug that I much prefer over flat plugs. I especially like that there is room at the end for an oversized plug. The only thing I wish was different is the length of the cord. 6 feet just doesn’t quite reach.

Solid Power Strip
This is similar to the other strip I got that was only 3 outlets. This has 6 and I’ve used it sparingly for my servers. It has been solid and hasn’t had any issues. The plugs are easy to slide your power cables into and it fit just fine into my wall.

Note that the plug is for a grounded outlet so you might need a package of adapters also sold by Amazon which is not the best way to go (hooking power strip into one) but is the best those of us with older homes can do without rewiring at a a cost of thousands. It’s working well for a weak friend who is recuperating and in her older home was having to bend down to reach an outlet to plug her phone charger in. This brought everything more within reach of her recliner chair, and saves her some energy. Have found the well rated items by Amazon to be fine…

Works as a strip. Don’t know about surge protection.
Won’t know unless the mov pops and renders the strip useless. Then it will have to be replaced and then you will see if what you had plugged into it still works. Bad storm a few months back and everything still works. I was getting new modem and router for new house and cable company didn’t have any because of storm and their unpreparedness for an event like this.

The media could not be loaded.
However the tolerance in the main beam makes it so that it tends to fall over when bend over. The tolerance could be a little bit tighter. All in all this is an excellent little work light reading light whatever.. the phone charger USB port is a plus.So far the performance is as advertised.
