Bought Used
I bought used to save money and there was a broken piece to one of the wheel insert. Returned it next day. Be cautious of getting used because you might end up with the package I received. Getting new once my come back. 3 stars because I like the bucket overall and still plan to buy one, new though.

Solid construction
Bought this for cleaning my garage floor. With a nice mop this works great. It rolls easily, carries plenty of water and squeezes the mop water out nicely.

Better than the other cheap mop buckets
I purchased to replace a broken Genuine Joe GJO60466. The wringer mechanism of the Genuine Joe had much thinner plastic and developed a crack in less than a year. It functioned for another year but eventually developed another crack making the wringer useless. I looked into upgrading to steel construction and decided against the $180 to $350 cost. If you want to have the ability to squeeze out a mop until it’s barely damp, you’ll need an all steel industrial grade down press wringer. The wringer on this Amazon Basics model has significantly thicker walls and should withstand light-duty home use. Don’t use anything bigger than a #24 mop head. The bucket is taller and more narrow than the Genuine Joe and likely more top heavy so I’ll be rolling it around a bit slower. The finish of the bucket is very glossy so the soap and crud don’t stick to the sides after a simple rinse. The quart (and liter) marks are difficult to see so I made my own black mark at the 4 gallon level. A clip-on mop handle holder is included but is thin gauged and interferes when moving the wet mop from the bucket up into the wringer. I’ll be mindful of it but expect it will eventually break. But for the money spent I rate at 5 stars.

Not recommended.
As far as operations go, this mop bucket is as sturdy as they come. The hardware is good. Everything was good until. It came time to dump it. At first when I looked at it I was pleased, it even has a built in hand hold to help facilitate dumping it, and it also has a lip. The only problem is, none of this works to prevent the water from running right down the side of the bucket and on the floor. No matter what I try I can’t stop this from happening. I would say you are gonna get 8 ounces or more spillage every time you attempt to dump it. So unless you can get the entire thing over a sink expect to make another mess to clean up.

This is a great solid wringer bucket.
I like that’s it’s solid and easy to roll w/the large wheels that come w/the bucket. The wriger is good at getting excess wate out of mop head.
