cheap price, cheap quality. 2 of the 3 are good enough. if you get these, test them and make sure they work properly. 2 for 12 bucks isn’t horrible so not returning the 2 good ones to gamble on another set that also probably won’t be all 3 good. I tossed out the one that isn’t good enough to keep.1 star + 4 stars + 4 stars = 9 stars.9 stars / 3 = average of 3 stars.while the 2 are not horrible enough to send back and will function as staplers, I will not be buying them again now that I know Amazon Basics does not have quality control in the factory. so even though I give these 3 stars, and 3 stars is “ok enough” or “meh” rating, I cannot recommend them due to the odds of not getting properly functional ones.

My very old Swingline stapler broke. This is made out of hard plastic. My old stapler was metal, heavier of course. Do I think this one will last 30 years like my old one? No, but the price is right and I’m not using it daily.

Its a stapler what else you expect?
Not bad, this is the first stapler I’ve bought on Amazon, as I hardly ever use them, but thanks to school, I had no choice.As you can see, it is a pretty simple and basic stapler, they give you a decent chunk of replacements too. I’m sure it’s fine if you just need to use it a few times a day. Would recommend it for the price!

When my 40-year-old stapler finally gave up the ghost, I didn’t want to have to spend a ton on a replacement of the same quality, since I don’t use a stapler nearly as much in retirement. This one in the Amazon Basics line if probably 90% as good, and far cheaper. Works for me. And the quantity of staples included is very handy, too.

Holds your paper tight
I collect coins. Loose coins need to be put in “Flips” to protect and display the coin. A Flip is a 2″ X 1″ piece of thin cardboard with a circle cut out the size of the coin and covered with thin film. When folded with a coin between the sides it’s stapled on each side and the Obverse (heads) can be seen on one side and when turned over the Reverse (tails) can be seen. I also staple the Invoice and Packing Slip together. It’s a nice product and easy to use.
