   Perfect fit!

   I wanted something that was small and easy to put into our closet and store important documents and things of that nature! It is small enough to fit at the top of our closet, store our documents and still not take up a lot of space! Easy to program and happy we purchased this!

   Safe is great

   I would definitely recommend this safe if you are going to keep jewelry or money in it. I recommend if you are going to screw it into drywall I wouldn’t recommend using the parts it came with I would use an anchor screws. I used the parts it came with and it fell out the wall and left big holes behind. The safe works great however and after fixing the problems it’s amazing!

   Okay…but

   I have had this safe two years. I attempted to get into it, but both the locked and unlocked lights are dimly blinking when I enter the correct code, and I cannot open it with the key. Needless to say, my valuables are stuck inside the safe. What good does that do me? 😳

   Solid

   This little lock box works quite well so long as you secure it to a wall, floor, or some other heavy object. I bolted mine to a gun safe. It is very easy to program, and although it will not protect your valuables from the heat of a fire, it does provide good protection from thieves if properly mounted. The only flaw it has that I’ve noticed is that it beeps very loudly with every key press. If you intend to keep a gun inside and need to open it to confront an intruder, you may as well sound off one of those compressed air horns. The criminal will easily hear you. I intend to disable the speaker.

   Affordable, easy to program, reasonably sturdy, this is the 3rd one we’ve bought

   If the interior dimensions of the safe are adequate for your needs this is an excellent buy. Although someone skilled in breaking into safes can crack this fairly easily, the locking mechanism seems very secure. It’s easy to program, easy to change the batteries (decent batteries last a LONG time in this), and it also provides a way to mount/bolt this to some object that might make it a bit more difficult for some miscreant to steal.

   Need different hardware

   Just received and installed it. Perfect size for what I needed. I didn’t quite understand the bolts that came with it and how to use them. What I did was used a stud finder to locate where I could possibly bolt it to the wall. I used 2 1/2 inch lag bolts for the studs and reused the washers that came with it. The other two (which did not line up with studs) I ended up using drywall anchors just so I had all four holes secured to the wall. As you can see, I mounted in my closet on the shelf which fit perfect. I simply followed the first few pages of the direction to install the batteries, set a seven digit code, and was good to go. I’m not sure how easy would be to break into, but it would certainly be very difficult for somebody to come into my house and rip it off the wall. Good value for the price it would seem. The trick is to remember to put your valuables in there when you’re not at home .

   GREAT safe for money. See review and pics.

   Great little safe! Not fireproof but for what I needed it for it’s perfect.Update. I lost my house this past week to a fire. It was a total loss. Somehow this safe made it with 4 handguns in it as well as ammo and various paperwork. It still managed to open USING KEYPAD when the firefighters brought it out!!!! I can’t recommend this safe enough now.

   Battery “backup” included

   This safe has a little known feature. Underneath the keypad is a USB-C connector. If the batteries run down or fall out due to the flimsy lid, you can hook up a USB-C power bank or charger to open the safe with your combination. It’s hidden in the user manual

    Keypad function stops working

    Bought in November 2022. Keypad function stopped working October 2024. Replaced with new batteries, still doesn’t work. Have to use key since keypad is dead. Product coverage 1 year. I would buy a turn dial combination next time instead of electronic keypad safe.

    It’s ok safe

    I like the safe ok,but I wish the turning knob was more sturdy!It’s very loose as if it was going to fall off. the inside shelf was loose so I added 2 sides stickers underneath to keep the shelves secured and in place I also added a light inside the safe but it’s ok and I would buy again.

    A bit flimsy and misleading mounting instructions

    The safe is convenient enough to use but it does feel a bit flimsy – or “basic” as, to be fair, the product name indicates. I guess it provides basic protection but will not stop a truly motivated burglar. I would not have great confidence in the ability of the key lock in particular to withstand serious break-in attempts – and the key lock serves as override to the number lock, not as a second tier of security. I decided to still keep it even if on the lower end of expectations.The safe clearly needs to be mounted as it is very light – significantly lighter than, say, a microwave – and could otherwise be easily carried away. The mounting hardware that comes with it cannot be used for wall mounting on a drywall or such – it is only for mounting on a concrete floor. If you want to mount on a dry wall, you need to get different mounting hardware (or else you could easily pull the safe back out). This is not explained or even mentioned in the instructions and per some of the other reviews this is causing issues for quite a few people. Odd choice to not have this included (or even mentioned in the instructions). Prospective buyers should be aware that an additional trip to the hardware store to get the proper mounting hardware may be required.

    Great safe

    I purchased this safe for my son and he used it throughout his college years. He recently relocated and during the move he realized that the safe no longer works and his key is missing. Is it possible to get a replacement key as his birth certificate and important documents are locked into the safe? The code on his key was 64. Thank you for your assistance.

    Easy to use, tough and reliable.

    I have used this for almost 2 years, storing whatever I need to inside it. The key works well when needed but I have not had to rely on that yet as the combination lock (up to an 8-digit code) works so well and the batteries last so long. Easy to mount or secure inside a bigger safe. Small enough to easily transport when not secured down. Large enough to fit a decent amount of things inside. I still use it, proof of it’s usefulness.

    Not sure which model has a finger print reader but mine does not. –

    size- see pics with egg cartons lol – fits full documents flat- that was my main use for itDid some research, and i’m not putting family jewels in here, but other reviews have shown me a toasted safe, an it still worked.This gets the job done, its pretty hefty, and i’m not securing it down to anything, so it works great for my use. Can’t beat the price either.

    The best investment you will ever make

    I bought the ‘Magictec motion sensor lights’ for the inside of my safe, as someone had suggested in the comments, and it makes me love my little safe even more.There is a removable shelf inside and a section of felt on the bottom to cover the holes you can use if you decide to mount the safe in a wall.HEADS UP!For anyone who had trouble figuring out how to insert the batteries all you need to do is SLIDE the batteries through the slot until they are lined up with each other, on each row like this: BatteryBattery BatteryBattery*Remember to SLIDE them through the slot.*You CANNOT just pop them in like you would on a remote or toy car.I really struggled with putting the batteries in for a while because the ones recommended didn’t seem to fit or look like the right size because I have never had to slide the batteries in something before because they usually have their own individual places to insert them. So I was flipping back and forth between the instruction manual and the Amazon customer service chat until I figured it out. It would have been nice if they had stated the exact method of inserting them but I got through it!As for the password set up it was cake compared to the batteries 🙄. When you first set everything up you can set the MAIN PASSWORD & THE MASTER PASSCODE at once. The first password is the one you use every time you open the safe. The Master passcode is what you use in case you forget the first one. The over ride keys are for you to use if you just forget everything!! Another thing I want to mention is that the buttons do make a loud beep for every button you press and three loud beeps for when it is opened (That could be worked on).So, never fear your safe has a back up for everything. Even more so if you get the Asurion warranty on it.This thing is great and I love it although when I opened the door to my safe it had some weird red stuff on the door even though it was packaged like it had never been used. But I just took a clorox wipe to it and it’s as good as new.This is a great investment for people who don’t want to put their spare money in the bank and for those who don’t want to just have it lying around in the open. My new safe definitely makes me feel more secure from people with wandering hands 🔐.

    i put the batteries in and when i looked back at it the coil was burning into the battery and the battery was super hot. also need to plug it in with a type c charger at first which can take a while

    So far so good

    Met my expectations at the price, keypad works great, cut some material and have been using it as handgun storage just to keep kids away, ordered the smallest size and has more than enough room for what I needed, can’t speak to longevity but so far, so good.

    Looks fine, good for dorm for basic protection of laptop, camera, electronic devices ( not for money or precious) . The battery compartment is very fragile and cheaply made. Wish the would use a better and premium quality for that section.

    It works great – until it doesn’t

    I purchased this 9 months ago and just now writing a review. I have to access my unit once/week. So I use it on a regular basis. This safe fit a number of items documents, personal items, just fine. It is solid and heavy. Delivery was great and on time. My concern is the unit itself. On one occasion the locks jammed and I was unable to open the safe and tinkered with it for approximately 20 minutes. It would not open with the combination or the key. Neither worked. I thought perhaps it needed WD 40 or some lubricant. After giving up and going back to it several times over a period of a couple hours it suddenly opened. The bolts that lock it shut moved just enough I could pry it open. But they remained jammed and I could not lock it. Which defeats the purpose of having a safe, right? A week later I messed with it again and got the bolts to go inward allowing it to finally close. WEIRD. So now I am using it again and it seemingly works fine. However, if it decides to jam again, I might not be so lucky. I had a different brand for a number of years and never had a problem. In theory I could request a refund/exchange as it has been less than one year. I am debating an upgrade to my former brand. I hope you never lose access to your items! My only other theory is that someone attempted to pry it open and were unsuccessful. In that case, it jammed. Regardless, after all is said and done it began working fine & I added WD40 as a precaution. For now, I am thrilled it is working again.

    4.5 Years and Returning for Another

    This safe is great value for the price. I have only had to replace the batteries twice in 4.5 years of owning this. I open it maybe once per week or two.I have returned to purchase another to keep backup hard drives inside. I have steel wire racks in my home data closet and figured the holes in the safe would be perfect to run cable through, around a rack shelf, then padlock on the inside.Hmm, anything annoying?… that shelf (in the 0.5 square foot version) is ridiculous and flips up if not weighed down evenly. That’s about it. Big whoop, right.

    NIce except for install in concrete floor

    For some reason this is delivered with 12mm anchor bolts. That is, the bolt hole is specified as 12mm. I used the closest standard drill, 1/2 inch, and the bolts won’t anchor. It looked close enough before I drilled but the anchors won’t expand enough to hold. So now a special trip and $$ at the hardware store to buy 1/2 inch anchors. What a pain. With gas prices what they are, add $15 to the cost of this unit.Hello Amazon….this unit is being sold in the United States!! where most of us use standard bolts and drills. If you are going to sell metric bolts then include a 12mm masonry bit in the box.Otherwise it is fine.

    This is exactly the size I needed. The lower shelf is taller so you can store taller things. The upper shelf is not very tall. I put paper work there. It has about three inches of usable space( tall) without cramming it in there. It is plenty wide. I like it. I do not think that it is a fire safe or waterproof.

    The safe seems solid, the walls are NOT very thick. And when using the key to open for the first time the plastic thing snapped and now kinda sits in place but will fall out with a jiggle. The beeps are Not very loud, if paranoid about people hearing use the key instead. I have junkies the live next door and I don’t think they could hear it unless I had my window open.

    Much like a hotel safe, not Ft. Knox

    If you are looking for absolute protection for valuables, this is not it. Properly mounted, it will deter the common thief and slow down the professional. It’s not fireproof and does not claim to be so. To me it’s a place to keep some medications I don’t want kids getting into, important papers put into a fire resistant bag and some spare cash. Fewer and fewer banks are offering up safe deposit boxes so home security is becoming a must. A nice big gun safe, bolted down properly to solid concrete, with a proper fire rating is the way to go to really protect stuff but this little guy is a nice addition to that when you just want to reach something quickly.

    good but wish i could silence the beeping

    good safe but i wish i could silence the beeping when entering in the code. you cant open the safe without someone hearing the beep with each entry of the numbers. not optimal in case you want to get into the safe in an emergency.

    Basic safe. Use your own fasteners if going into concrete. Purchase fire protection pouches.

    Easy to operate. Secure. Will keep mice, bugs, kids, inept adults out. Not stashing my Picasso in it thou. Got heat protection pouches as safe is not insulated. The supplied anchor bolts for concrete are metric and my 1/2 inch bit is too big, the 3/8 bit too small, that and precise hole alignment is needed. Use metal anchors u r happy with. I used 1/4 inch x 2 (can use longer) inch hammer drive anchors. (love them) Drilled 1/4 inch hole w masonry bit. Added 1.5 inch (can use larger) washers b4 hammering anchors for stronger safe wall support, used metal bar to pound in anchor nails as it is too confining in safe for hammer alone. Sealed bottom anchor holes in safe w metal tape as my safe went on a wall and did not want existing bottom holes uncovered. Kept safe off floor (instructions say lay on floor). If mounting on wall, use bricks, some ceramic tile, etc. to set safe on, to give safe bottom weight support. If mounting on floor use a couple of washers to keep safe directly off floor. (concrete humidity, small spills)
