It does the job
I was tired of the minimal storage in my big shower and one night it suddenly dawned on me that I could install another tension rod along the back of the shower and use S-hooks to hold things like the back scrubbing brush, loofah sponges, etc. I could get rid of the over the shower head storage thing which kept getting in the way. It’s nice to have more space in the shower.

Nice but can be improved
Not wishing to drill holes in my walls, I bought this tension rod to hang some curtains in my livingroom. Rod appears to be well made and has an attractive brushed nickel finish. It was easy to install. Only complaint though is that with a rod this long, it really should come with a center support bracket. Even with no weight on the rod, it sags in the middle.

Stronger than they look for not using screws
I bought 3 of these already (of different lengths) and all of them have heavy curtains (the ones to keep all the sunlight out) and they work perfectly. I bought the 9ft one and currently have 5 of those curtains on it (weight of curtains ≈ 10lbs all together) seems to be holding on. I did reinforce the middle section because I do not want it breaking on me but without the reinforcement and some lightweight curtains you should be all set.

Good value
We use a lot of these. The master shower has one that we have double hooks sliding on to hang the heavy duty plastic inside and the fabric outside. Same one in the main bathroom. Also use on the closets to hang linen-looking curtains to hide the clothes/shoes inside – we HATE closet doors. One thing to remember, though — if you just hang these rods up no matter how tight you get them eventually they come down. Do yourself a favor and buy the end pieces that you slip the rod in for clothes hangers in the closet. Put those up first and THEN put the extension rod in each end and tighten down as usual. No more rods coming down…we’ve done this lots and it works! Super easy to take down again, too, if you want to make a change.

Perfect fit
Got this so avoid drilling into my rental, and it works great. Does the job, i measured my window area and it fits perfectly, has not started to fall, i have textured walls and its holding up. It is a little bigger on the ends and i struggled to fit the curtain hole around the ends but got them on.
