I rarely write reviews and I wanted to mention what I do and don’t like. The keyboard is fine. A little low, but I’m used to that. The mouse is tiny. I’m not used to that. If I was a little kid or someone with small hands, then no problem. But this is just a little too small for me. Good luck if you buy this combo or just the mouse.

Best value keyboard I have owned, the mouse is good.
I bought the combo kit, keyboard and mouse together.The Keyboard:Likes:1. Keys:The keys feel very good. They are slightly textured, the way I like. They take less force to press than my old ps2 keyboard. Once pressed they fall down well and fast, and give a nice feel. It feels nice like my keyboard on my old dell vostro 1200 (i.e like scissor keys, but take less force). The key is linear and moves about 3mm or so before it hits the bottom and activates the key.2. Size:17.5 x 5.5 x ~0.7 in inches (rough measure)… The keyboard is just as long as my old ps2 keyboard, but way thinner, it also has less width.3. Design:The design is very modern and very clean. I like it. The lights are on the caps lock key and the numlock key instead of a separate area for the indicator lights. The indicator light space has 4 keys. mute, volume down, volume up and a calculator key. There are media keys on the top as can be seen in the actual product picture that amazon put up.4. Sound and feel:Its not completely quite (makes typing feel better.), it makes just as much sound as any other keyboard in the office, I find it quite peaceful to have some sound as I type. I did not like the super quite keyboard that I borrowed to try from a friend, it felt like typing on mashed potatoes compared to this. This keyboard is crisp and feels fresh. It does not feel very hard when I reach the bottom, there is a very little distance that the keys can travel after the actuation when pressed harder, so after typing the whole day on this my fingers are not tired. (I am used to typing for a long time so take this with a grain of salt)Dislikes:1. The longer keys (like the tab/shift/enter/space and so on..) feel softer than the small keys.2. I would have liked to see the media keys as the main keys and the function keys like F9-F12 as the secondary (I hardly use them).3. The fixed elevator in the keyboard is not to my liking. I would like the option to have foldable feet instead of the fixed one.4. The keyboard is shinny black and is a fingerprint magnet, except for the keys (which are slightly textured and I like it)Mouse:Likes:Kind of rubberized material, feels good. Nice clicks that are a little quite than my old mouse.Dislikes:The size is a little small for me. I would have liked a little bigger mouse. The back is a little tapered. I believe its designed for a small to medium hand, not for people with largish hands. But if you prefer a claw grip this may work well for you. The mouse wheel is a little soft for my liking. But you can still feel it. I would have liked a horizontal tilt, but that may be asking a lot for the prize.Recommendations:I use windows(home/work), linux(work) and OS X(home). I have used this keyboard on 3 computers so far. Works out of the box, and is compatible with all 3 OS out of the box. The keyboard is nice for typing on. I do not game much so have no idea if this will work well for gaming. I have not seen any ghosting with this that affects my typing. Its a nice keyboard for anyone who wants to type, and/or is on a budget and is looking for a cheap nice keyboard.NOTE: Windows 8.1 users, when switching back to ps2 keyboard after using a usb keyboard, windows may not recognize the ps2 keyboard. I had to reset some options in the bios for my old ps2 to work again. This happened during the testing period. This is a windows thing… not a fault of this keyboard.I hope this helps you to choose. Best Keyboard/mouse set I’ve purchased in ages. Quiet ‘click’, so not noisy at all and easy spacing for rapid typing. I’m about to purchase another bundle so I have to hand in case my husband’s breaks or my nieces/nephews need one (they always come to me, lol).
