Replacement purchase
I had to replace a old, maybe 20-year-old shredder and while it is almost similar to previous one except for one thing. The weight is much heavier, I am afraid to drop and break a toe. It could be the newer ones are made heavier, but this one does exactly what my older one did (reason, I purchased) but I am not pleased with the weight.

Great space saver
I don’t have to shred paper often, so I didn’t want to take up space with a bulky shredder. When I need to use it, I sit it on top of the recycling bin and it does the job. When I’m done, I put it away in a drawer and don’t have a big empty box sitting next to my desk. It works well (I usually only do a few sheets at a time) and I like the automatic safety stop and reverse functions.

Great for keeping stored away
With only the occasional need for a paper shredder, something like this is what I didn’t even know I needed. Since I mainly only shred a small pile of bills every few months, I didn’t want to spend $60 on a shredder that’s a pain to store or leaves you at most a half-open trash can. It’s compact enough to throw in the closet until it’s time, and the packaging is even sturdy enough to keep it in. Sadly it’s still barely too long for my trash cans, but they’re all pretty small so that’s on me.Only real downside is that the shredder area is so narrow that if you load it a little crooked, it’ll bunch up on one side. This makes the 8-sheet limit, which is already a little generous, even harder to capitalize on. I haven’t run into any real functionality issues though. Haven’t tried the CD shredder so I can’t comment there.

Good paper shedder
Let me tell you I sure did like this shedder works very well. I bought I think 4 of them for the job I was working on for work. I shedder almost 300 boxes full of papers with 6 different shedders. You shedder until hot you move on to another one and so one. Done this for over a year and a half. I went on and on I burned up 3 different shedders. So I have three of these left. Would buy again if needed.

Shredder That Needs Assistance
I bought this shredder to shred old documents that had PII on them. It does the job but only 2-3 sheets of paper at a time. After a few minutes of shredding, it gets clogged with the shredded paper, so I end up spending time removing the paper so I can continue shredding. I have to use the Fellowes shredder oil to assist and keep this machine going. It does the job but not as well as I had hoped it would.

The little shredder that could!
Had about 4 totes full of old outdated papers for medical and SS, needed just a small unit to slowly eat through the piles and get them out into the recyclables. It can handle small amounts of pages at one time, about 10 will slow down and start to over heat it. But for small 2-4 page groups this little machine powered through it like me at a buffet! hehehe The CD shredding aspect also works great. Even destroyed my old drivers licenses, after I feed it in one way I took the longer strips and feed them back threw side ways so I got tiny squares. It’s for light work details and not power using, so every so often it would shut off when got to hot and usually took about 20 mins to half a hour to cool off. Overall this little shredder is a monster.

Surprisingly durable and practical for home use
I have used commercial strip shredders at home for several years to create paper strips that can be soaked in water and used as mulch in the garden. All of my junk mail, newspapers, magazines, and waste paper go into the garden via a trip through the strip shredder. Two commercial, brand-name shredders have darkened my doorstep over the years, and I’ve worn them out. When the last one died in 2022, very few options were available in the marketplace. So I purchased two of these, anticipating that they would wear out quickly. Much to my surprise, I’ve been running one of these daily, creating big trash cans of paper strips, without an overheating episode or a breakdown. The second one I purchased is still in the box, almost a year later. This unit gets an A+ from this household!

Works great but a little noisy
Just got this today. PROS: It is very easy to use and love the fact that it also shreds credit cards and CD’s.CONS: I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it is a little noisy (compared to our previous shredder that we had for about 30 years) and it runs for a few seconds after it is finished shredding with a higher pitched screech. Otherwise, we are happy with it (so far).

My old cross cut paper shredder i got from Costco about a decade ago has reached its end of service. The old unit has a built removable basket and weighs about 5lbs. Despite my regular cleaning and occasional lubing (shredding lube sheets) the motor stopped working. I had to choose and get this portable shredder for several reasons.1. It is lightweight (weighs about 2lbs). Ideal for carry travel if working at a remote site.2. portable and easy to maneuver3. works with almost M to L wastebaskets (adjustable)4. motor runs quiet with auto feature5. shreds CD and credit cards6. Works well
It DOES overheat if you use it continuously, but when it needs to cool down, it stops itself, and takes a little to be ready to go again – gives you time to stretch your legs! We shreaded over 8 large garbage bags over 2 days, and it was still going strong as long as we gave it a break when it asked.

Easy and portable shredder
The media could not be loaded.
For the best bang for your buck you can’t go wrong with this mini portable shredder. I needed a small shredder for a small file cabinet that had a bunch of old paperwork I needed to get rid of and this was recommended by Amazon. I saw alot of positive reviews and some negative but anyway I ha e had this shredder for a few days and started using to the max it does everything right. I shredded about 80 documents, 12 envelopes, 10 cards etc no problem. It does make you wait 15 minutes after using it for about 30 minutes or so if you use it excessively in one setting but then light on shredder turns from red to green letting you know you can resume your shredding. I absolutely love this thing, all you need is a trash bin and you can extend the right side handle to make it fit any garbage/recycle bin you got. Auto and reverse works good, only drawback now is that toggling the button over from auto, to off, and reverse is a bit weird I had a hard time trying to turn it off a couple times but you just got to make sure it clicks I’m either position you want it too. Overall I would rate 9/10 👍

Good fit for my needs
After going through 2 fancy shreaders that were to last several years, and hundreds of dollars in the toliet, I decided to use a less expensive unit. Read reviews tried another company through A and it never worked.Had enough waste cans, so this was a good fit. Fits larger waste cans like a tall kitchen, so you can shread to your hearts content. However because of curved design, it doesn’t fit every can well. Sits secure enough to sit and shread.My previous models were cross shreads and I will say I like those better due to less space being used after shread and better security, but this does well enough.The cd pocket for shreading cds is also good for credit/reward cards.Works well so far, however the test will be when I pull it out again if it works.

Much quieter than I expected. Much faster than expected. The strips are narrower than my old strip shredder. I’m very happy with the purchase. It stops at after using continuously and light turns red. Instructions are to wait 15 minutes. Don’t worry you needed a break too. Excellent purchase.

THIS LITTLE SHREDDER IS TOPS !!!!!
The last big batch of papers that we needed to shred cost me $75.00 and over 90 minutes’ round trip drive to the shredding center. This Little Wonder costs less than half of that fee and took just 35 minutes to shred all our documents and turn them into three tall kitchen garbage bags full. It comes pre-tested by the company, has easy to read instructions, plus they placed their customer help number right on the top of the shredder. I was able to find a plastic garbage bin it would sit on top, but you may want to consider buying both the shredder and the plastic bin that was made to go with it. THIS IS SO FAST AND EASY !!!

It’s a little beast! Get it!
I like sitting my shredder on a trashcan. It is as noisy as other big shedders. The CD function is good, as well.I shredded two lawn size trash bags before it needed a break. I let it rest 15 minutes as the manufacterer suggests, then it was ready to go again.

A POWERFUL SHREDDER!
I am very pleasantly surprised by this shredder. It is actually appears to be more powerful than the super heavy clunky one I have that I purchased years ago from office supply store. Although this one doesn’t shred to tiny confetti size (it makes long strips of the paper), its fine with me. It looks nearly impossible to try to put the pieces back together….. wait…. there was a film where they had a whole office full of foreign government workers trying to do that! That was a very funny scene.For the price, easy mobility, compact size and convenience this is very very good. It has a retractable handle so that you could lay it across any size waste basket pretty much. I bought a cheap waste basket, laid out across top and shred into it, then all goes into recycling bin. Easy… I’ve had this for a few months now and it hasn’t overheated at all, even when I shredded alot at once. I do not use it everyday though, so others considering this one may need something different. This is a really good buy, in my opinion. It works for me!

It works, even though the extendable arm broke and screws to open and clean are cheap
I’ve had this shredder for 5 years. Here are a few observations:• Not 8-sheets! Always use fewer than the recommended sheets on any shredder you buy. Because of the reliance of plastic, if you strain the mechanism, the plastic will weaken.• So far, I’ve had to open this shredder once to clean the inside. By design, it is difficult to open. Worse, the screws are cheap and the screw heads are now stripped. It’ll be very difficult to open it again.• The extendable arm broke a few months after I bought the shredder, but at least it fits on a tall basket without extending the arm.Every home shredder I’ve ever opened has had bits of paper leak into the casing and causing trouble, but I’ve always seen the possibility of low-cost design improvements that make shredders more durable.• Make it easy to open and clean any shredder. Too many people discard their shredders, filling up landfills, when all the shredders need is cleaning,• Make it easy to clean the switch that automatically turns on the shredder when the paper is inserted. Make the switch more durable.• Engineers who design paper shredders rely on plastic, obviously because it is cheaper. Instead of the motor and the rolling mechanism being set into a metal frame then installed into a plastic case, the plastic is used to hold the two rollers together. After extended use, the plastic is strained and weakens, and often breaks.• I’d love to see a different type of design where the entire mechanism is set into a metal frame. If a user were to jam too many sheets, the plastic won’t strain and break. The few extra dollars would make the device last far longer and keep us from filling up landfills.

Shredder
This product to me is perfect. It’s small. It’s compact. It’s easy to pack away when I’m not using it and put it in a drawer on the shelf. It does exactly what it says. It’s going to do by cutting paper, shredding paper and plastic credit cards and CDs if you need those shredded to, I highly recommend this product

Worked Great!
I got this shredder to shred some checks and other documents while staying in a hotel that I needed to get rid of. It seemed to handle multiple pages fine given it’s size and seemed pretty solid but since I only used it once I cannot speak for longevity as I gave it away because I could not take it with me in my travels. I wouldn’t say it’s quiet but it’s not any more noisier than your average shredder in my opinion. Cost wise it is worth the money and It will do if you need something small to fit over a waste basket to get some light shredding done. If you have a lot to shred and don’t require portability I would recommend something more capable but obviously it is aimed for someone who needs something simple to get a simple job of shredding a few documents done, especially if traveling.

Aurora Pro Paper Shredder
This is a sturdy paper shredder which I placed on my kitchen garbage can to shred 7 years of sensitive documents. I put 2 sheets in at a time so as not to overstress shredder & work it hard for 5 minutes before I stop & let shredder cool off. A green light that shines when all is well; however, a red light shines when shredder is overheating. If so, let stand 15 minutes. I ruined a Fellowes home shredder by overloading it & jamming it as I was in a hurry so I have learned my lesson.I do not know how long this shredder will last because of the workload; however, I will buy another if this one dies for normal shredding of bills & junk mail. Also, the directions tell the consumer to oil shredder once a month. Unfortunately shredder oil does not come with shredder so you will need to buy some at the time shredder is purchased to add longevity to shredder. Several people doing demos on youtube recommend oiling shredder more frequently such as after every 30 minutes of use or when you need to empty your garbage can.So far I am happy with purchase.

It goes a long time before it starts to overheat!!
Eats paper like crazy. Only jams if you put too many sheets in at a time. It goes fast enough that it isn’t necessary to go overboard with the thickness of paper. It’s great for household paper. If you stay on top of it, you will have a great shredder for small business junk mail and unwanted printed sheets of paper. It works great for me!

A family workhorse for 3.5 years
Due to some family / life events; by the end of 2021 we were receiving A TON of mail – I am talking often 20 pieces a day. December of 2021 we welcomed this sanity saving item. Shred and trash in one go – no more empting the shredder basket multiple times a week. No more trails of tiny paper dust all over the house.Three and 1/2 years later this thing is still going strong; even having been knocked over a few times. It’s an amazing workhorse. I highly recommend.

Wonderful Strip Cut Paper Shredder &More…
I shopped and shopped to find this particular item. My wife had set a limit on me of what I could spent in my search for a shredder that ate paper as if it was nothing and went through CDs and credit cards like a chain saw. This is the closest I could find for the price, and I am very happy. You won’t set speed records or burn through reams of paper, but what you will do is meet your household needs for basic, non-secure shredding. 1.9 mm (0.075 in) or security level 4 is what you will need for personal identifying information. This shredder won’t deliver that, but that isn’t what I bought it for because it was out of my price range. I have a burn party/pit for my financials and personal information. No one is figuring that stuff out, bar none. Key… Keep it lubed/clean/empty. It will give you great service. *NOTE* Buy the waste basket separately. You can get one that is larger and cheaper.
