Best Box for Moving Books – 30 boxes
I’ve moved a lot during the last 10 years. Every time, I used Bankers Boxes for my books and other heavier items, when you wouldn’t want to heft anything heavier without handles. These boxes are perfect: incredibly fast to assemble (a miracle of design), sturdy, and store really well on top of each other. Unlike what one customer wrote, there are indeed 30 complete boxes with lids with each order (there are different quantities to choose from, so read the description). So I assume there are 20 complete boxes with lids with those shipments of 20 boxes. Added note: once moved, I save all of these boxes by easily folding them up for the next move. Ideal.

Best boxes in the universe!
Excellent boxes at a very good price. Folks, unless you are shipping boxes via UPS, etc., use these to store and move!! Time and aggravation are very expensive!! The time and effort save by NOT having to tape these is tremendous (never mind the cost of tape/gun). NOT having to deal with flaps is even better! Breaking down the boxes after a move is much easier as well.The BEST part is that the design has been radically improved! To ‘assemble’ the box, all you do is unfold it, that’s it! And the lids take about 10-15 seconds to assemble.They are the right size, as stuff gets heavy quickly; don’t wanna put too much stuff in a box.

Worth the price
I have used basic archive boxes for storage, but now I realize, when boxes get stacked up on top of each other, those basic boxes will sag down under the weight, ruining the lower boxes.These boxes are far sturdier, and they unfold in a wonderful way. You do not have to assemble the box. It comes completely put together, but by opening in unfolds into its operational shape. Really great when you are moving (or whatever).All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase, and bought two sets of these boxes.

THE BEST(!) of the Lot
I have moved twice in the last several months, first to a rental while my condo was being renovated, then into the renovated condo. I found that the ideal box for the things that I moved myself (i.e., rather than having the movers take them to storage and then to their final destination) was one that was small enough to prevent over-filling and that was easy to carry. Bankers boxes seemed like the perfect option. However, there are many different brands and big differences in the ease with which they fold together, lock, and allow ease of carrying them.Through the course of the two moves, I purchased several batches of bankers boxes. Each time, I seemed to get a different manufacturer. I found that this brand is far superior to the others. As the description states, they are super easy to fold from their flat state to a box, both the box itself and its lid. And the lid locks snugly in place due to the way it folds, providing a nice secure lid and a comfortable hand-hold. They are very sturdy and can take a lot of weight. Of course, since they are all the same size they stack very neatly. The lid also provides a nice surface upon which to write the box contents or number.I like these so much that I am keeping a few to use in the future. (BTW, if you are also planning to keep cardboard boxes, as I am in this case, wrap them in plastic. As I understand it, corrugated cardboard attracts bugs.)

Sturdy and reliable.
These are a little smaller than U-Haul moving boxes, and fit perfectly on a KALLAX-sized shelf. These are the double-walled variety, so they also have great stacking weight. I use them to organize household items that don’t otherwise stack, like piles of cleaning supplies, or video game controllers.My pack of 20 came with one or two imperfections, such as a misaligned handle. Overall still good value for the price, plus its cardboard so at least any waste is recycleable.

Prefer the Heavy Duty boxes.
I have been using bankers boxes for YEARS. In my opinion the heavy duty boxes are well worth the little extra. They hold up better and I stack them as high as I can reach. ( I am 5′) The medium weight boxes are good for lighter weight stuff.

These boxes are the best!
I purchased 50 of these for my move. They are the perfect size for me to handle and are easy to pick up. I packed my dishes and china in them, as well as my books. Not a single thing broke in the move! Also, they are perfect for books because a packed box is not too heavy to lift, plus the handles make picking them up easy. After the move I donated them to a book store in my area that was moving. They are excellent boxes! We’ll work the money.

Could be a little sturdier
The boxes and lids are easy to assemble. I have bought other banker boxes that have another layer of cardboard for additional support, but these are not flimsy. I’m just saying there are other types. The only thing I didn’t like, is the flaps that tuck into the box for the handle holes, don’t secure or folder under any part of the box. So, if it’s full of files, I have to make sure it’s flipped up and that the files don’t push them back down and cover the hand-holes.

These boxes are incredibly strong and are so stupid easy to put together. No more guessing which side of the box to push or pull. These boxes simply pop open and are ready to use. Worth every penny. Very pleased
Having to struggle with personal loss and selling your parents’ home is rough enough. Everything else is a pile-on. Heavy Duty boxes were just cost prohibitive at the time. I was worried whether these boxes would hold up for all the items that needed to be rescued in a hurry. I didn’t need to be. We toted belongings of every description across six states then emptied them and made 4 more trips in just under 2 weeks. The boxes got a lifetime’s worth of use. We needed uniformly shaped boxes for stacking three-high [fully loaded] plus a fourth box with lighter weight 3-dimensional items on top. We were none too careful with them in the mad dash to salvage as many memories as possible– assembling, filling, emptying, refolding- over & over again.They held up surprisingly well and are still on duty in the basement & garage. Quick and easy to assemble & break down. Really appreciated the lid having a flap to fold into the finger holes for carrying. Lids didn’t fly off in the wind! I had not thought to look for this feature, but with so many carries, it saved us from bloody, blistered fingers, I am sure.I will buy these again in a heartbeat if I ever need to. I think we got 20 medium duty boxes for about $56. Worth every penny. Very pleased with how they held up & continue to hold their shape. Not compromised by the rainy weather.

Work Very Well
I ordered these to pack up my belongings for a move – have moved with them, folded them up and brought back to pack more up. It was nice to have the boxes re-folded up ( i did not fold up lids) to make it easy to transport back in my SUV. They were quite easy to unfold again —- and have used a couple times. I bought a second set as they stack nice, store nice and are sturdy enough for clothing and many other items. Don’t understand the negative reviews at all. They work as intended, assemble quite easily and are quite sturdy.

Quality is only so-so, cover doesn’t fit well over hanging files. A design “oops”.
I’ve had boxes like this for decades. This particular product is pretty easy to assemble, but the design is such that when you place hanging files into it, hanging on the edge, the cover basically doesn’t fit. Too small.Also, there are flaps that hang down from the cover that are intended to fold into the hand-holes in the box. The problem is that, once having done so, the cover is difficult to remove.Not a great design. I wish I had known all this, I would have ordered something different.

Great boxes for the price
I bought these for work and they are the best boxes. Hardly any assembly at all….just unfold them and they are good to go. Whoever invented these is a genius. They look like the size of a shoe box when you get them but they magically upfold into a large box. The most work you do is the easy assembly of the lid.

These work great and easily
I have spent years dealing with banker boxes for filing and moving. They are my go-to box for moving houses. It’s usually a bit of a pain to fold the boxes from flat into actual boxes, but these sort of just pop into shape with minimal dexterity. The lids still have to be folded, but that’s easy. I will use these from now on. They are sturdy enough to hold fairly heavy contents and stack. Same quality with less effort…I’m sold.

Cheaper version of the Bankers Box
Bankers boxes are simply the best at moving and storing files. This particular model was not exactly what I was looking for. This model has the files handing on the sides of the box, which is directly inside the lid. The width of the hanging folders makes the lid bulge in an unsatisfactory way. The next level up in bankers boxes has a dropped sides for the haning files and a just anothe level of sturdiness. These are fine for a single move or use, but for longer storage get the heavier boxes from Bankers

Excellent box, easy to assemble.
It used to be that you almost needed to take a course in three-dimensional geometry to put a banker’s box together. I have to say that these boxes practically put themselves together in just one motion. The lids take only a bit more work and are so easy that you need no instructions.The boxes are very sturdy. I hadn’t planned on ordering boxes online, but boxes bought locally from a national chain turned out to be cheaply made with an eye to saving every inch of cardboard: the fold-in sides only went down about 4 inches and there wasn’t even a solid bottom. They were supposed to be medium duty, but I’d only put light stuff in them. These boxes are much more substantial with a solid two-layer bottom. The lids seem sturdy too, and have an extra fold into the hand-slot to support it better. This is a top-quality box.

Bankers Boxes
These are supposed to be medium duty, and that is probably what they are. I thought they would be sturdier. They do seem to work for what I am using them for but thought they would be heavier. I have some from earlier that are fairly heavy duty, so did not know what was meant by “medium duty”. The other thing is that I am nost sure why the flap exists on the cover. Seems to cover the handles when the lid is on. The boxes came quickly, good service from the seller.

Economical reusable storage boxes
I needed some boxes to store things in my garage, that can be easily opened to look for things without having to re-tape shut like other cardboard boxes. Did not want to spend a lot, and the plastic storage bins have become quite expensive if you need a lot of them. These boxes are perfect for this need, easy assembly, durable and nice size to handle heavy items like paper and books, and a box lid for easy access, not expensive.

Incredibly easy to use box
These boxes unfold into their final form like magic. Just push a little and voila – box. You’ll spend more time folding the lid into shape (also pretty easy) than making the box. The cardboard is pretty sturdy and I’ve stacked them 4 high with moderate weight inside.Minor item is that due to their easy design – their unfolded shape is about 4x as thick as a flat single piece of cardboard, and the lid is another piece so think 5 layers thick for storage (and they don’t lie flat as they naturally want to expand a bit). Other boxes I’ve used take longer to assemble (maybe 10-15 sec vs 3) but come as a single flat piece and lid. Doesn’t sound like much but when you order 20 or 40+ boxes for moving it starts to add up when you’re not using them and trying to find some holding area.But for pure convenience and functionality these are great. Recommended.

Easy assembly
I’ve purchased these boxes for years. They are incredibly sturdy and hold up pretty well if you stack them up in columns of 4. They are incredibly easy to assemble and hold their quality for years as long as you don’t over stack. Shipping was also incredibly quick.

Sturdy boxes protect my stuff for moving
I have a lot of stuff to pack for my move, and I want it to arrive undamaged. So I buy these boxes that are more than the cost of the generic boxes or standard packing boxes. Here’s why:- Medium duty as double support for the bottom and the handles. I’ve ripped enough handles to know that stacking isn’t the only weight problem when filling boxes with books. Non-reinforced handles rip easily, resulting in me having to “deadlift” them. Ugh. No thank you.- Stacking weight. They say they are rated for 100 lbs more than the light-duty boxes. The cardboard isn;t really any different (I examined it). I think it’s the reinforcement for the bottom and sides. But buxes with lids seem to me to offer more weight support along the edges.- Stackability. Same-size boxes seem infinitely more stackable (safely) and offer better organization.These feel solid and show minimal sagging stacked six high filled with books..

An important office basic for storage archival
This box is designed for document storage. You can either file in one direction with letter-size files, or in the other direction with legal-size files.If you need to put away things like tax documents or other documents that you do not use frequently, and/or like to be able to stack your boxes, these are ideal for stacking. They are all a standard size, so they also would fit nicely on a heavy-duty shelf. Without the shelf, they can be stacked about 4 to 6 boxes high. Or, if the contents of the boxes totals less than 25 lbs each, you could actually stack them 8 high. These are rated for 250 pounds of stacking weight, so please do not stand on them. But you already knew that if you have ever worked in an office with file boxes and filing cabinets.

Prefer these to other bankers boxes
I’ve used these specific boxes for years and will continue to do so. They are really easy to assemble & they hold up to being stacked for long periods of time. (Sometimes years without being moved.) There are some brands that have a poor quality with regard to sturdiness but I’ve always had great luck with these.

Great for moving books.
Using these boxes to move my wife’s library. They are very easy to put together and are sturdy enough for books/packing. Much better than the basic duty version we picked up before these.
