If you are sensitive to airborne particles
The item was packaged and delivered in a timely manner. The item works. I inquired with a question before ordering if this was, in fact, front loading. The response was affirmative. But it is not front loading which I need. Read on: The item shreds paper into a mush that when airborne is not advisable for someone like me to be around (environmental sensitivities). I don’t recommend this product for the two reasons I listed: It was not front loading and I am extremely sensitive. I also have difficulty with fingers and wrists. The mechanism that shreds sits at the top and one has to pull it up. If you are older, like me, with finger and wrist problems, I do not recommend this product. I also have to wear goggles and a mask and take the item outside to dispose of the shredded contents. I think Amazon would be delighted to know this information. I hope this helpful to others in my situation.

Does not shred credit cards
I bought this less than a year ago and this week shredded a credit card and it has stopped working. Before when I shredded only paper it was fine.

Was very nicely made. I did return product due to fact that I did not notice that unit only operates for 5 minutes then overheat light comes on and shredder cannot be used again for 40 minutes.

Decent shredder for the price
I love the micro shred. This particular shredder is good for the price. I like the pull out bin for emptying instead of lifting off the top. My old shredder I had to lift off the heavy motor on top to empty it and that became too difficult for me because of my arthritis. The pull out bin is so much easier. I read some previous feedback before I decided to order this one. Previous feedback states this shredder is very quiet. I do not find this shredder to be any more quiet than any other. Casters are a plus.

Great shredder!
Have had this for a couple of months and am very happy with it. My first micro cut shredder and it’s so much nicer than my old shredder that broke. Basket holds a lot more due to the micro cut and it is very easy to empty.

Beware the card shredder
It worked great since I bought it in February but when I tried to shred my Amazon Visa it destroyed the machine and the card it half shredded and stuck in the machine. No longer works!

good product
Packaged very good instructions are easy to understand and assembly was ok the unit is a bet thin plastic material and can NOT be handled roughly it will break easily so buyer beware plastic on this shredder is very thin and will break easily so handle with extreme care shreds very good but warns of overheating if run more than 5 minutes? so this is for light shredding work only not shredding large amounts!!!!!
