Q1: Why doesn’t the shredder work after plugging in?
A1: Please make sure you assemble the shredder head and basket in the correct directions. The front of the shredder head should be aligned with the each side of the trash can.
A2: Overheating Protection, this design with 3 minutes continuous run time with 40 minutes of cool down after use again.
A3: Paper jams can also be one of the reasons for not working- Please use the FWD and REV functions to clean up the cutter scraps.
Q2: The cross-cut shredder is jammed. What should I do?
A1: Please switch to FWD mode and shred the jammed paper compulsorily. If there are too many paper scraps in the feed slot, slide to FWD mode for a few seconds and then to REV mode for a few seconds to clear it.
A2: With stubborn situations, you may need to clean the jammed paper with shredder oil. Start by drizzling oil into the feed slot where the paper is jammed. Let it soak for about 30 minutes, and turn the shredder to Auto-On mode, a rigid sheet of cardstock (or folded file folder) can be fed into the shredder to help push the jammed paper through With the shredder unplugged.
Q3: Why is the number of sheets that can be shredded lower than the maximum number of sheets described?
A1: Please check if the paper is damp, contains plastic is too thick, if so, please let the paper dry before shredding, or remove the plastic part, or reduce shredding papers per pass. To extend the lifetime of the paper shredder, please don’t shred more than 5-6 sheets at one time.

Small but mighty
This is really tiny – surprisingly so. I almost sent it back but thought, you know I’m gonna give it a try and I’m really glad I did. It’s perfect for me because as I look through my papers and sorting through them, I just shred one or two pages at a time. I also have some small bags that are just the right size so I don’t have to worry about emptying it. When the bag is full I can just pull it out. I took a picture with 8 1/2 x 11 paper so you can see how small it is. I don’t know how long it will hold up but I’m glad I got it and it’s a really great deal too.

Great shredder, but what is that glue-like substance?
This shredder does the job very well. The shredded paper is really small, almost like confetti. The noise is loud, but I have yet to find a quiet unit on the market.But what the heck is that residual glue left on the unit after I removed the protective wrapping tape? Everything sticks to it: the shredded paper, my fingers……. everything. It won’t come off. It’s all along the top edge on one end of the basket and the plastic casing of the motor assembly. I tried soap, rubbing alcohol and even nail polish remover to rub it off, but the cotton ball, cloths and whatever I use to dab at it just adheres to the glue. And it’s extremely difficult to wash off my hands too. I took off one star from my rating due to the aggravation this is causing me.

Perfect for my home office
I have a large shredder for all the junk mail I get, but I needed a smaller version for my office, and this is perfect. It does not take up too much space, and the bucket collects a good amount of shredded material before needing to be emptied. It can shred up to 6 pieces of paper at a time. It’s not too noisy, but it does make some noise. There are forward and reverse settings as well as an auto setting. For the price, it is a good buy in my opinion.

Happy Shredding
This is great shredder. The speed is good compared my old one. I like the functionality of the auto shut off figure. It’s not as quiet as stated. But it is still worth purchasing. When I shredded a batch of papers, it only jammed one time. And it was easy to clear using the reverse and forward buttons. I’ve wanted a new shredder and very pleased with this one.

Great shredder for value
This shredder works really well I have shredded 3 garage bags of documents. It has over heated once after several hours of use; and then me rushing the process placing too many documents in at one time (6 pages along with a full shredded basket I believe was the reason for the over heating). After sitting for about 10 minutes everything was fine. I have not experienced overheating I don’t load more than 3 pages at a time and I empty the basket before it’s completely full.

Perfect size and weight for residential use
My 12-sheet shredder just died one day. It was a heavy machine that sat atop a plastic basket and needed a good fit for the “actuating pin” to sit on this plastic receptacle bin. Over time, the weight of that shredder had cracked the bin and made everything unusable. No replacement for the bin available and superglue and duck tape just wasn’t working.I considered a new shredder that had a pull out bin, but after analyzing how much use (including number of sheets to feed into the machine at one time), cost, and overall weight of the machine, I realized a lightweight shredder might meet my needs. Good decision on my part.Excellent aspects:It is very lightweight machine that has an excellent and comfortable folding handle to lift it off the included basket. I have serious arthritis in both wrists and most fingers, and I can lift this off without any issues at all. It also easily seats right back into the correct position without any problems when put back onto the receptacle bin.It is pretty quiet when running.It has a window that clearly tells you when the bin is getting full, ensuring that you do not overfill and jam the machine. When full, the bin is easy to lift and dump its shredded pieces into a larger trash bag. The pieces may get a little statically attached to the plastic bin, so try covering the opening of the bin with a trash bag before you invert the bin and then tap the aides of the bin to get all the shredded pieces into the trash bag. I still had to round up some “shred debris” that clung to the inside of basket or missed the bag…not big deal.Price was awesome!Average/neutral aspects:My previous shredder had a lock out mechanism that let me ensure the shredder could not be accidentally turned on if the main selector switch was unintentionally moved to the “on” position. This machine does not have such a feature. It has 4 positions: FWD (on with continuous shredder wheels engaged regardless of whether something is sensed in the shredder slot), AUTO (power on, but shredder wheels not engaged unless something is sensed in the shredder slot), REV (shredder wheels in constant motion, but pushing things back out of the feeder slot), and OFF (which powers down the machine, red power light goes off). As there is no “guard switch” to prevent accidental activation, I simply unplugged it when I am not using it for a time and if any small children/pets are around.It also has an overheat light if the motor os getting too hot from continuous or heavy load use.It is not top heavy, but still can be tipped over if you move or bump against it. I have it freestanding on the floor between a similar sized trash can and the side of my desk. I have had no problems with it tipping or moving during use.There is a credit card slot, and while the machine will “chew” these up, you can hear the machine slow and even see the credit card wobble as it is being shredded. Worked OK as I only shred a card or two annually.I would not place more than 3-4 sheets of regular paper in at one time as you can hear the machine slowing to shred that amount. I am sure it can do more, but I decided to simply be cautious. The machine does shred as quickly as most residential use machines, however.Note: The actual continuous run time on this machine is much better than advertised. I ran it for 10 minutes without any problems, although I was only inserting 1-2 sheets at a time, not the max they say you can at a time. No overheat light came one, albeit the top of the machine did become a little warm.Overall, very happy with this machine. It will only get used every couple of weeks and then for only about 15-20 sheets of paper or other junk ail (credit card mailings, credit card receipts, etc…

This is a home office shredder
I love this shredder just the right size for a home office. This even shreds credit cards in the center part of the shredding mechanism. When it fills up I just take the top part off and it sets on it own waste receptacle. I place a plastic bag over it and flip it over and then everything is collected in the bag. Such as a Walmart or any plastic grocery bag you get at your local store you shop at will work. Great shredder for the money I’ve been using mine for 2 months and it works great no problems.

Take the reviews with a grain of assault and follow the instructions
If you want something that is like an electric vehicle then do buy it, it’s not loud. Just like any other Shredder out there for sale, they all make noises. This one is actually quite than my old Fellow shredder and so far after “READING THE INSTRUCTIONS” I have not had a problem with it so far. I keep it below 6 sheets of paper and I make sure that any stickiness is covered when shredding and the instructions are clear “NO SHREDDING MEDAL”. this is common in any shredders I have ever owned and if you want to shred medal all day and 50 pieces of paper then you need to buy the thousand-dollar product. Once again it’s a decent product and does the job and again I follow the instructions that are given to me. For I want the product to last, some just don’t have that common sense, and why they are having problems with theirs. Thus why the review is saying overheats and, making loud noises, or not lasting long, take care of the product and follow the instructions. The product will take care of you as well, if not and you want to go crazy well it’s not going to last then

Excellent performance for the price especially if you get it under $30

I recently purchased this Paper Shredder and I’m extremely pleased with its performance. I was looking for a shredder for home use, something to handle occasional documents and mail, and this fits the bill perfectly. It shreds quickly and efficiently, creating a nice cross-cut that I feel confident keeps my information secure. It’s also surprisingly quiet, much quieter than my previous shredder. The bin size is adequate for my needs, and the clear window makes it easy to see when it needs emptying. For the price, this shredder is a great value and I highly recommend it. I’ve also included a video of the shredder in operation so you can see it in action!

Baby shredder
This really is a baby paper shredder, but it suits my needs. My only complaint is that I have to kind of push the paper into the slot before it will grab it. Since I tend to tear only the header off all that paper from the pharmacy (the part with my name), it can be a little tricky. And while it says it can handle 6 sheets of paper, I’ve found that 3 or even 1 really thick sheet slows it down a lot. But it has a nice small footprint, so it fits well into my home office space.

Works Great
This works very well. The capacity is small, but it cuts/shreds well enough to allow for quite a few shredded pages before you have to empty the bin. It has a continuous run setting as well as an auto feature. It has reverse as well in case of a jam. Great value.

This is great!
This papershredder is small but powerful! I get 3-5 CC offers daily and I do not like to throw them away with all of my information available to a dumpster diver. I had 15 different credit cards that I needed to dispose of and I was too lazy to cut them all up. This machine ate all of it in less than 5 minutes!!!

Does what it’s supposed to do
It’s not as powerful as my old one but gets the job done. I only do a few pieces at a time because I don’t want to chance a clog. The opening could be a little wider because the paper has to be lined up straight or it goes in crooked.I really like the handle for lifting and also the larger window than my old one.

Really nice shredder
I’ve had this since March, 2023. I don’t use it often but today I did a lot of shredding. After about 20 single sheets of paper it became hot and turned off automatically. I waited 30 min and restarted it after cleaning the cutters and moving the slide forward and reverse. At times it wouldn’t feed properly so it took me quite a while to do the shredding.All in all it’s a decent shredder for the money.Update: After spraying canola oil on the cutters, it’s working fantastic.

powerful little shredder
I bought a really nice shredder that I probably only used less than a dozen times then it jammed. What a waste of money. So I ordered this shedder as it had great reviews and it was Cheap $$$$. I love the micro cross cut shredder. It says 6 pages at a time, well I wasn’t taking a chance of this new shredder jamming. I only do 3-4 sheeets at a time and also after a couple pages, I reverse it just to make sure it doesn’t jam. The shredder can get hot with long term use. I just try not to shred lots of paper at once. I’ve only had 3 days but so far so good.

It works!
We had a pile of paper that needed to be shredded. As soon as we got this shredder, it was put to work. Started with 3 full bins worth of paper on the first job, with no over heating. 2nd job we did 4 full bins worth of paper and this time it did over heat. It says to wait 40min to cool down, which we did, then continued to fill another 2 bins without any issues. We’ve had it for a month now and are still using it without issues. Worth it for the price.

Works well, but only takes a couple of sheets of paper at a time so the process is slow if you have a lot to shred. Overall I like it. The size is good and it has worked well for me.

Excellent!
I love this shredder because it’s cuts both vertically and horizontally, so I’m confident that no one is going to be able to piece together sensitive information! It does tend to overheat after ten minutes or so, but I just give it a rest and then go back to it later. I bought the least expensive model which does six sheets max at a time and that’s fine because I don’t normally have much that needs shredding but since I was cleaning out old files, I had a lot to do because my old shredder broke before I got most of the stuff shredded. Hopefully, this one will last me a long time now that I won’t be giving it too much of a workout each time I use it!

Love it!
It works great. Even though it only shreds up to 6 pages at a time it works well. We use it for sensitive mail or info on papers and junk mail.Use it while watching TV and ut save space in the recycling bin.It shreds paper and plastic cars to tiny un readable bits

Shredder
It works. I only shared one piece of paper at a time. I have picked it up a few times to move it to a different location and the bottom trash half has fallen off. The shredder and the trash bin do not have a handle to hold it together.

Small and powerful
Well today we got our paper shredder we immediately unboxed it and started using.Let me tell you.. this thing is powerful. It takes pages in stacks. I only tried stacks on 5 at a time but it took then like a champ! It’s small so it can also be easily stored once you’re done with it. The bin is plenty big and easily detached making it easy to dispose. Overall.. love this little fella. 10/10!

More like a 4-sheet shredder
it works well, but it goes really, really slowly if you put in 5 or 6 sheets at a time. It’s best suited for 4 or fewer sheets at a time. Still, for household use where we’re just shredding junk mail and receipts, it works well. It does seem to be more resistant to pausing due to overheating than other shredders I’ve had, which is really beneficial.

Works well for a home office
Compact, quick, I only shred about 2 sheets at a time, works ok shredding plastic cards. I don’t want to push my luck with more than 2 sheets as some feed in crooked. I like that it is a cross-cut and has a view finder and basket to see how full it is. I have had other larger machines that didn’t work as well as this.

Credit Card Shredding
I ordered this shredder specifically to shred credit cards. I had accumulated about 100 used credit and gift cards over the years and decided it was time to destroy them. This unit made all the difference in the world. I broke them up, into groups, destroying about 25 at a time. The shredder was amazing. No problem taking care of this task.

Nice compact shredder for home use
This 6-page shredder (upgrade version) is good for low volume shredding. From experience, a good rule of thumb for avoiding problems is to limit the number of pages to about half of what these low-end shredders state. So, for this shredder, 3 pages at a time shouldn’t stress it too much. Note that many of these small shredders, like this one, reference A4 paper size (which is a little narrower than the standard U.S. 8.5”x11”). This shredder’s paper feed width is only 8.66 inches, so 8.5” paper needs to be aligned carefully when inserting. The plastic bin is of basic quality, but for around $30 this tiny shredder does a good job for occasional shredding.

Broke after a few uses – Update
Updating my review to 4 stars. After making the below review, the company reached out to me and replaced my broken unit at no charge. Great customer service!Old Review: I only used this shredder 5-6 times (all lite use) before it broke. I was shredding 2 sheets of computer paper when the blades just stopped spinning. There was no jam and no obvious reason for the issue. I have contacted customer support a week ago and have heard nothing back. At this point, I am going to purchase a new shredder from a different company.
