Nice To Have
I picked this up for the wifes Ram 1500 with a 6 cylinder. I have not had to use it for the Ram but have used it on my mower and tractor and it worked great. It had plenty of power obviously as these both have small engines but i have no doubt it will handle the Ram just fine if it is ever needed. I think of these as modern day jumper cables that everyone should have. I am pleased and I would buy again. 5 STARS

Every car should have one
This is one of those things that should be in everyone’s vehicle. I haven’t used it as yet but I’m so glad to have it. My son tends to not close me car door properly and lots of mornings I’m stuck having to get a jump. With this next time that happens I can just hook this bad boy up and be good to go.

This is an excellent lithium battery jump starter that can be charged via wall plug or 12 volt cigarette lighter etc. It takes a charge really quickly when plugged into the wall, I have yet to try the 12 Volt method of charging. It holds a charge well and is good for many jumps from one charge. It is simple to understand and easy to use. I highly recommend it for the money.

This jump starter is built like a tank, and is easy to use.I haven’t had to use it on a dead battery, and I suggest you read the other gentleman’s excellent review, who did careful tests on old batteries.It charges up easily on AC current, (you’ll need a charging cube with USB or USB-C input), and the battery pack can charge with either USB, USB-C, or another plug-in that is attached to the included charging cable that plugs into your car’s dashboard charger. It also comes with jumper cables, made for this unit.This will live in my car, as insurance against the day I, or someone I see in distress, needs a jump.

Very rugged!
For the money this is one of the nicer units I’ve reviewed. Rugged construction and great battery clamps.In testing I found it had no issues starting my old 6.6 V8 (gas). With that in mind I would have no problems recommending it. The thing does exactly what it should and is from a reputable brand so you can feel safe using it and leaving it in your car if need be. Better than most and right up there with the NOCO I have.

I have a few ATV’s that I ride like once a month, and batteries are always draining, and whenever I try to start them I have to jump start using my car, but now with this charger it takes less than 3 seconds to start my ATV’s. Very easy to use just plug and play. Charger does come with a hard handle/case, and alligator clips, and it is well made and built with a high quality that you would expect from Craftsman. Everyone needs to have this jump starter around, it would make your life so much easier! Highly recommended.

Works as expected from the Craftsman brand.
I give more faith to this versus the others I have tested and used. The Craftsman jump packs seem to be built with higher quality materials with heavy-duty use in mind. I’m fortunate to try this 1500A version out along with a larger version. This works as good as the 4000A one I already own. No difference in starting my F-150 that has a weak battery. It is a great idea to carry this around in your vehicle at all times; just recharge it every six months or so of non-use. You won’t have to rely on some stranger to jump start your car in the even you return to a drained battery.

Works great and a must have
This is a very nice jump starter. Very strong and sturdy. It feels like a solid tool and not a plastic power bank that starts dead batteries. I will use it mostly on my lawnmower and keep it in my truck for emergencies. It works great on my lawnmower since it’s also a 12v battery even though it’s really small. My lawnmower battery dies periodically and this starts it right up every time. It has a nice cord management attachment so your cables are always close. The best part about this is that it will last for multiple charges.I’ve had other chargers like this and they are much more helpful than just jumper cables. Living in the mountains you rarely have someone nearby that can jump you so this is a lifesaver for those living in less populated areas.This one is well made and built with a high quality and toughness you expect from Craftsman. Everyone should have a portable jump starter and this is a great one to have.

Great item to have in your garage or vehicle.
This is a great item to have around in case you need it. We have an older polaris ranger that is going to be in need of a new battery soon. I keep this with me when I am out in the woods in case the battery dies out and I need to get it started again. It’s a lot better than hiking back to the house carrying the battery.This is a very heavy duty, well made item that you come to expect from the Craftsman brand. It is nice that it has the added benefit of a USB port in case you needed to charge devices out in the wilderness or while camping. The light on it is also a bonus but is not super bright. A good little addition though.Overall, this is a great jump start pack that you can’t go wrong carrying with you when traveling or having around just in case.

Easy to figure out, but lacking instructions
This has the Craftsman name, and looks very sturdy and has a clip on carrying case that holds the battery clips and cable. The jump clips wire is a bit thinner than others but it does the job. The instructions are very simple and just covers the basics of the jump box. There are no instructions for how to wrap the wire around the carrying case. There is two buttons, one to turn it on and another one to turn on the USB or the light. The LED flashlight is nothing to write home about and is very dim as well as odd shaped illumination pattern. The light pattern is more like a thin long rectangular shape and not really all the bright.

Peace of mind
This has brought me such peace of mind. I got it after my husband’s battery randomly died after being at the grocery store late one night. I had to go and give him a jump late at night with the kids in tow. We have this in our cars now so that we are covered wherever we are. This charger has three times the amps as the older unit; additionally, my new Ford Hybrid won’t jump start with battery-based jump starters, but will with this Craftsman unit.This is perfect if you have an RV Tow Car and put it into “Neutral Tow” for towing. Even though the engine is “off”, the car still has power steering engaged and other things. So, even if your brake system doesn’t use the car battery, and even if your RV sends power to the car, you still want this jump starter “Just in Case”.Why this unit? It has a mode specifically to jump start batteries that are “too low to jump start”. Sometimes, you will find that your tow car battery was drained too much for almost all normal jump starting. This model has a low voltage battery mode (see attached manual page) that isn’t obvious unless you have the manual handy.This unit is NOT FOR EVERYONE! You can’t just throw it in your car and grab it when you have an emergency… there is probably enough battery power in the unit where it “might” work. But, the instructions state that you have to recharge monthly even when you haven’t used it. And, that is really the only way to make sure that it lasts a long time. I’m ready to do that, because it is just part of my “get ready for an RV trip preparation”.Finally, very few hand-held chargers will jump start a For Hybrid that has a low battery. In the past, the only solution I’ve had is to have someone else with a vehicle jump start me. This unit will do that when no one else is around.

Handy
This item is very handy and has all of the necessary ports that anyone would need. I keep it in the car for long trip or overnighters where I may forget chargers. Such a great peace of mind to have it around. It is a little bulky and heavy so storage and transport are a little more difficult for as often as you use it.

Solidly built, looks good and works!
We’ve had to our our fair share of portable jump starters (our vehicle had some battery draining issues/defects). I really like the quality of the product – it feels premium and it works really well. It is easy to use and simple to keep operating (doesn’t require constant charging).One thing that I did want to call out is that while I actually like the look of the device – we do put it in a bag. Other brands that I have had do come with a bag, and I’ve come to enjoy that. Sometimes when packing up, I like to just throw it in the bag and get moving (already slowed down by having to jump start). This one does require you to pack it up nicely, otherwise it will add some clutter to your vehicle.Overall, I appreciate this device! If you don’t have a portable jumpstarted, I recommend getting this one!

Great jump starter; easy to use
This review comes from my husband, who just had an opportunity to try this jump starter today: I charged this jump starter in the house and it sat around for a couple of months. I checked the level it was still 100% on the indicator. I have a tractor that has just been barely starting even on a warm day, and since today’s temperature is a little less than 50°F, I didn’t think it would start at all. I put the clamps on the battery and the ground and it started instantly. I would rate the unit as being very effective at my application today. My one comment about the design, and there might be a good reason for it, is that you have to lay it down on its back; it does not stand up vertically. I did try to start the tractor again after the test and it was still pretty much dead and did not start immediately. The compact size of this unit makes it easy to tuck under the seat of the truck and be ready for a starting emergency. I can heartily recommend this one.

This little box has an amazing amount of power! It could save the day, over and over!
While I don’t have a vehicle with a bad battery, I wanted to test this jump starter, so I came up with a couple of ways to see what it could do. I have a retired battery from a 10 year old car that does not hold a charge well. While monitoring with a voltmeter, I hooked up the jumpstarter to the battery. Before I turned on the jump starter, I checked the voltage, it was at 12.19. A healthy car battery should be at 12.68. Sounds like a small difference, but it actually means a lot. When I turned on the jump starter, it went up over 13, with a 16v charging voltage. After a minute or so, I disconnected the jump starter, and the battery remained over 13 volts. That is a lot of power added in a very short period of time! I continued testing on 3 other batteries, one a healthy motorcycle battery. Similar good results, the healthy battery immediately jumped up to 13.4 volts, and the jump charger sensed this and stopped charging, a good safety feature! In addition, I tried starting the motorcycle with the jump starter attached, it cranked the engine the fastest it has ever cranked, even with a new battery!Based on my above testing, and finding the jump start battery was still over 1/2 charged, I am very impressed with this unit, and I recommend it. I think it should be standard equipment in all cars, and make sure to keep it charged. My only criticism is if you have a dead battery, It will NOT automatically try to charge and jump start it. You need to press and hold both the power button and the USB/light button to override the safety feature that keeps it from shorting out if you just touch the cables together. Best not to activate that feature unless it is connected and not working. It would be nice if these instructions were written clearly on the device.All cars, meaning gas or diesel engines with a lead acid battery. Might also work on the 12v operations battery in some electric cars, but check your owners manual before touching any of that with any method of jump starting for an EV. Great Buy
I literally ordered this less than 24 hours ago. It was on my front porch in less than 12 hours, where I found it almost fully charged. It was ridiculously simple to use and fired up the engine on my Tacoma within seconds of hooking up. It’s barely larger than a 90s cellphone, so I can easily tuck it away behind a seat until I get my car looked at or until there’s an emergency. Highly recommend this one.

As far as jump boxes go this has plenty of power, also this charged up without any problems.Does have an LED light.What this doesn’t have and what this jump box really needs is a hard carry/store case.I sure don’t want this loose in a vehicle, things will get lost.

EVERY driver should own one of these! Wish I could give more stars! As you can see in the video my car was dead. We got back from vacation and it wouldn’t start up. I tried jumping it with our other truck and it didn’t work. This powered my car up in seconds! Less hassle than trying to find someone to help and hook up jumper cables. This has everything you need to jump the battery without the need of a stranger or waiting on someone to come to you. It also has ports to charge your phone etc. I now feel safer knowing we have this in our trunk.
