   Assembly is fairly simple

   Assembly instructions were straightforward with the illustrations, the size and number of fasteners at each location. It took me 40 unhurried minutes to get it unboxed and fully assembled. I like the T-handled wrench for this type of assembly. The steel stampings seem pretty thick, so I think that mechanically it should last a good while. Getting the back on was quite simple; I left all the fasteners loose as per the instructions, and just laid the chair on first one side and then the other.I give it four stars overall, simply because I don’t know yet how well the faux leather is going to hold up and continue to look good. Fit and finish of the upholstery is quite good for this price point, no pooched seams or the like.It’s quite comfortable, reasonably firm. The back is high enough that I can lean my head back and my neck remains straight. The lumbar support feels good. The arms are just the right height for me to rest my elbows on them and type. I’m 195 lbs. and the seat is plenty wide, arms well spaced. I would easily recommend it to a friend.

   Great Quality Chair

   This chair is amazing at its price point, chairs this nice can easily be double the cost. Easy to assemble, less than 30 minutes. Very sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap in any way whatsoever. I’m 6’2 and the high back is a nice fit to rest your head back on. Some of the reviews highlight damaged parts or minor things that do not even really factor into the overall quality of this chair but if you carefully inspect the product upon opening and if there is something not right return it and get a new one because manufacturing defects happen from time to time and this chair is awesome.

   You get what you pay for

   It does it’s job, but it does not recline back very far, nor does it stay reclined. After 1 year and 8 months, a stitching in the seat has worn out, resulting in a small tear, which will only get bigger.—————–UPDATE: My main gripe was it not reclining back far or easily. I will leave all that information below.But after posting, I saw that there is a round knob on the bottom of the chair that allows you to adjust the ease with which the back reclines. That reduces part of my complaint. It is still not ideal, but it is better than I had thought. So I upped my rating from 3 to 4.—————–If I push my feet down on the floor to force the chair back to its fully reclined position, as soon as I stop pushing with my feet on the floor, the chair springs back to its non-reclined, nearly vertical position. If I put my feet up on a small desk the same height as the chair, so my legs are parallel to the floor, I can stay reclined, but the angle for the recline is not much – it is not good for relaxing or sleeping. If the chair reclined farther back, then maybe the weight of the person’s upper body would keep the chair reclined … but it doesn’t.I will not be able to recline back in this chair and relax as I watch videos and possibly fall asleep, as I could with my last chair that looked very similar to this one.The massage feature is also not great. Yes, something inside of chair’s back vibrates some, but calling that a massage?!?!?This is probably my fault, but the wiring for the massage feature quickly got tangled and snapped: this was just from using the chair normally. So no more “massage”.Basically, this is a low-cost chair, and don’t expect too much from it.——————-Update about durabilityI have owned the chair for 1 year 8 months and the seat has a small tear in it, just from wear and tear. A stitching has worn out giving rise to a small tear, which will only get larger with time.So I dropped my rating back down from a 4 to a 3.

   pro`scushion is comfortabletiltsnice height of chair liftprice point, great price con`sa bit rocky, stable enought-doesnt lean but you can feel play in between the bottom of the legs and bottom of the seat.arms are not out enoughseat back height, im 6 ft so my head goes over the top of the back, unless i put my feel up and slouch downill keep it because for 70 dollars, its a steal but i feel that maybe ill get a year or 2 out of it.heres the problem with exe chairs for office/gaming – the seat back fron the bottom cushion should be at least 32 inches. most men are 6 foot tall, not 5 7 which this chair would probably fit them the best

    Review: Ergonomic Office ChairI recently purchased this ergonomic office chair and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. Here’s a breakdown of the issues I encountered:Reclining Feature: The chair is supposed to recline, but mine does not. I assembled it carefully according to the instructions, which were way too basic, but the reclining mechanism seems to be non-functional. It’s frustrating when a key feature doesn’t work as advertised.Assembly Issues: The assembly process took significantly longer than the estimated 10-30 minutes. It ended up taking over an hour because the screws and holes did not align properly. I had difficulty tightening the screws, and some parts didn’t attach securely.Design Flaws: The design of the chair appears to be flawed. There is an awkward gap between the armrests and the chair, which made the assembly process difficult and less intuitive.Adjustable Mechanism: The circular adjuster under the chair, which is supposed to control tension, seems ineffective. It doesn’t seem to loosen or tighten as described; the chair remains in the same position regardless of adjustments.Wheels Installation: Installing the wheels was a frustrating experience.     Pretty comfortable BUT the assembly is a little tough.

    The chair is comfortable overall, the lumbar support surely beated my expectations. After assembly everyone experiences back pain (unless you work out like crazy) and when I finally finished putting it together I sat on the chair I just completed building, of course, and the back pain almost entirely, went away just from how comfy the lumbar support is.Nevertheless, the chair is on the lower end price wise, so don’t expect a resort in Maldives quality, when you’re paying for holiday inn. It is what it is, I’m hoping it lasts until the end of the year at least, Nothing lasts long term anyway anymore, so why would this differ?The instructions are quite confusing, a video tutorial I found on Amazon was more helpful I don’t get why they can’t just write it out in simple written steps. The graphics showed it takes 20 minutes to assemble. That’s a LIE. It takes more like an hour, I was working slow and it took me 1:40 with help. The holes are poorly designed, they could’ve done a better job properly cutting the cushion material around the holes so you can spot them easily, otherwise you wind up screwing around it and damaging the upholstery. Which was rather frustrating. For me this was rather easy to assemble until connecting the back with the seat. Once I got to that part that’s when you run into problems and going in circles.Here’s an important tip that the tutorial taught me: Always start with the wheels, and build your way up, also connect the armrests to the chair loosely, (not too loose, take your time) loose enough to allow the back component to slide in to the chair, lay it down flat, connect one of the nuts on each side, (this can be slightly tighter) once that’s done, gently tilt the back component upward and if you’ve connected it right it should stay that way, and now you can continue to tighten everything.The wheels are nice, my old chair had terrible rusty wheels that woke up the dead, so this was a smoother transition from that.This chair reclines, but it doesn’t lean back too far, so if that’s non negotiable for you, this might be a deal breaker, if the chair wasn’t comfortable enough I would’ve likely returned it.So far I’m pretty satisfied with the overall comfort, but I don’t expect this to last too long. I’ll try to update in the future.

    Amazing value, but could be softer/more cushy

    + delivered fast enough, undamaged, physical specifications are correct++ price/value is outstanding+ sturdy+ rocking mechanism is amazing and smooth+ assembling was as smooth and straightforward as it getsnot cons, but things to consider- i’m 5’07” and the back is not high enough if you want to fully place your head on it, if one has more height, it will be even more problematic; so the back of this chair is not very high!- there are softer/more cushy chairs out there, and I know what I’m talking about, I had Jysk Tjele (Jysk doesn’t operate in US) chair and it was the softest and most amazing chair I’ve had in my 30 years of gaming career. But this one has, let’s say, average softness like 3.5/5, it’s comfortable, but could be more cushy, but for this price it’s really the best you can get that’s for sure, just be prepared

    It’s crooked and lopsided

    Upon putting the chair together, i noticed the backrest was lopsided. So I dissembled everything and put the backrest on a flat surface and I can verify, the backrest leans slightly to the right when looking at it. As you can see from the pictures, the backrest is crooked assembled and dissembled. Also the plastic caps that cover the bolts do not stay in place, I had to use super glue to keep the caps in place. The chair is nice looking and very comfortable but I’ve only had it for a few days now, can’t speak for how it will hold up in the future but overall, I am pretty unhappy and regret my purchase.

    Perfect office chair!

    The chair is exactly as described in the product description from the vendor. The picture shown on the vendor site doesn’t do it justice. It is so much better both in design, size, and color. I couldn’t find a better chair online or in a brick n morter store. Also the price is a super great bargain. The assembly instructions were easy and detailed diagrams made it stress free! All parts were in the package. What is really important is the free shipping. I will be purchasing another one for a dear friend and one for a family member.     The chair was not easy to assemble because some of the holes did not line up great on the right side armrest. The material feels cheap, however the chair functions well and it is very comfortable to sit in as of now. I’m sure there are better options but for the price I paid, I won’t complain. I found a video on YouTube of the same chair assembly instructions which made things easy to put together other than a few holes not lining up well. I think the chair will last if used by a responsible person. It may not last long if used by a teenager or children roughhousing with it. I would say: If you are on a budget and need something good, try it out. If you want something better I’m sure you can find something better with a few more dollars.

    Great chair great price

    Packed as most other flat-pack furniture, and well protected, It also included a “T handle” hex driver, versus those painful simple “L” shaped drivers. After sitting on a very basic, ‘desk chair’ since hurricane Michael.. this chair is a luxury upgrade! I’ve had this type/style chair previously so assembly went smooth, even the additional steps of putting together the roller base, still didn’t take assembly time past 30 minutes. All the holes line up, though the right top hole on the seat back was odd. The pleather showed the impression of the embedded nut, but the cover had not been stamped out. For a few seconds, I assumed the hole/nut had not been inserted, but after fitting the bottom bolt, and placing the seat back in place, I did find the intended hole. Cut 2 slits over the nut and finished the assembly. The only small concern are the bolt caps to fill the holes, several of them needed glued in place because friction did not hold them securely. Great Chair!

    A Solid Support Chair (Pun Intended) that is Obnoxious to Assemble

    The chair isn’t quite the greatest thing since sliced bread (as the reviews make it out to be), but then, it’s not an awful chair. While it passes the eye candy test, the illustrated instructions may as well have been in Chinese, assembly definitely does not take 20 minutes (more like 1.5 hours after swapping pieces around over and over to figure out how the chair was supposed to be put together), and the chair is not nearly as cushy as one would hope for. That said, it is decently comfortable and has some cool features.The number one thing going for it is that it actually does provide excellent lower back support, and the massage function is a little gaudy and isn’t a trip to a spa house with a massage , but then it’s a nice little bonus. This is good for the lower back and it will make your chiropractor proud and your pain receptors quiet.Of course, with that lower back support, it feels a bit unusual, especially if one has not used a chair of this type before, as it feels as though there’s something sticking out and into your lower back. And as plush as the chair appears in the picture, it doesn’t quite translate into the soft squishy feeling that allows your lazy bum to rest. The faux leather is not really the most comfortable material, and is rather firm instead of malleable, though rest assured that you will not be sitting on aluminum or concrete. You will feel somewhat comfortable, maybe even fairly comfortable.A couple of additional features that are pretty neat are the gas pump that adjusts the height, and the ability for the chair to tilt back. In the reclined position, the chair most definitely multiplies its comfort level, and will be good for someone who wants to lean back when they’re reading, but seeks to avoid a situation where lying down on the couch would put you to sleep. Though the wheels on the chair were not at all as mobile as I had hoped, making it somewhat difficult to move the chair across my laminate floor.Now for the bad news. The illustrations have no words, the parts are not labeled (though they have code letters in the illustrated instructions), and they occasionally do not make any sense. For example, the left and right handles can easily be attached incorrectly because the instructions do not distinguish which side of the handle should be attached to the base. The wheels that attach to the bottom do not easily snap in, so it can fool you into wondering if there are other parts that should be holding the wheels into place. I tried pounding the wheel into the leg with a hammer and it still failed to go in, but eventually got them connected with the assistance of the strength in my biceps. Then, attaching the back part of the seat is a nightmare. The instructions have you squeeze it in between the handles, partially screw in the screws, then rotate the chair upwards to screw in the remaining screws, then finishing the project by tightening all the screws. The problem is that if you’re unlucky, the screws will fall out, the back part of the chair will fall, and then you might have to start all over again. Breaking one of these screws is probably a real possibility, though fortunately they seem tough, and the package comes with spares.If you’re a mechanical engineer or maybe even a carpenter, then assembling this thing will probably not be that hard. But then not everyone is an engineer or a carpenter. That being said, the final product is effective, and the value for what you get is acceptable, though it may come with an additional price in the form of putting the darn thing together.

    Best money I’ve spent on a desk chair

    I have a lot of issues with sciatica, and finding a desk chair that provides proper support has been a challenge, especially for long periods of time. I shall search no more. The seat is a perfect length and width that I am able to sit all the way back in the seat, and my back is able to comfortably rest against the back of the chair. I’m no longer sitting in a hunched forward position which was a definite strain on my back. Since I’m able to comfortably sit in the chair, my body overall is much more relaxed, so at the end of the day im not dealing with full body tension. This chair gets high praise from me, which I don’t dish out regularly. The craftsmanship of the chair is solid, it was easy to follow the picture directions to assemble it, and I had no issues in assembling it. It’s sturdy, it adjusts easily, and when you set the height you want, it holds, not like some other desk chairs I’ve invested in. The affordability is a huge plus, as the chair is worth more than I paid in my opinion.

    I feel that I had to go back and change what I wrote. The chair was initially uncomfortable because I could not adjust the back. The person who put it together for me screwed everything on very tight. Then I discovered that I could loosen the lever underneath the chair so that it could tilt back, and it makes a huge difference. Very comfortable now. Def recommend May buy another….Does not tilt back. Not the most comfortable chair for me. No good for my back and neck. 5ft4

    Wonderful chair, horrible assembly

    I am very impressed by the quality and comfort of this chair. I am so happy to finally receive a high-quality product from Amazon that actually looks and feels as high-quality as advertised. The chair is supportive, with great lumbar support, armrests, and an easy to use height adjusting feature. The only thing I don’t like about this chair is how absolutely INFURIATING the assembly was. The screws meant to attach the upper part of the chair to the armrests are all just a hair inch shorter than they should be for no logical reason, meaning you have to precisely, loosely put each screw in the absolutely perfect position while the chair part is also held in the perfect position if you want to be able to actually screw the screws in. My boyfriend ended up using longer screws from a different tool set that worked so much better and stopped our screaming and cursing. I truly do not know why they could not have just made those screws slightly longer. Also, the reclining feature is basically just a rocking chair feature.

    Good chair, but the screws are too short

    I would give this 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the problem with the screws that hold the top of the armrest to the back. The ones that came with the chair kept popping out when I sat down hard or leaned back. It seems like the screws got stripped pretty quickly. It came with replacement screws, but they had the same problem. So I took the screws from my previous broken chair that were about half an inch longer and used them. I’m not sure if it was a design or manufacturing problem. It’s been over 6 months now and there have been no further problems. The chair looks and feels great.

    Perfect gaming chair

    Amazing chair

    Love the chair! Easy to put together. Great back support, Firmness. I would suggest if you have hard wood floors put a mat underneath, it really rolls! Overall best purchase I have made all year!
