   Sturdy

   Yep. 5 stars. BECAUSE, into my 4th decade of daily computing, I’ve owned and cruised a couple of different chairs. And, my body’s evolved IN them. This chair is excellent! Value for money, ease of assembly-eight screws-that’s it. I’ve done a full day just to test it, NOTHING “fell asleep”, it didn’t get hot (I live in Florida), and lastly, I upgraded OEM specs with the new generation urethane wheel/bearing assembly. EXCELLENT, comfortable chair. A buddy is already mad about spending too much after seeing this one!

   Not bad until it breaks!

   I work from home and used this chair 6 to 8 hours per day 5 days a week. Cosmetically the material held up well and the chair still looks new. No complaints with appearance. However the function of the chair failed. First, the gas piston started to fail. Have to readjust every few hours. Then one day I leaned back and the seat snapped under me. The back of the chair is secured to the seat by two screws on each side. I’m 5’9 and weigh 220 lbs. I had expected the chair to last longer. Even though the chair gets alot of use, it is not abused in any way. I removed the material on the bottom of the chair and noticed that the wood used to make the seat appears to be some sort of laminated balsa wood. Same type they use to make those old toy airplanes. If they had used a solid piece of wood or plastic vs a laminated piece of heavy paper to make the seat, I probably wouldn’t be back on Amazon searching for a new office chair.

   Good economy office chair

   We purchased two of these chairs for a new office. They will be available to staff who have been assigned to standing desks. Since we have not yet hired staff, we are hoping they adapt to the healthier option of standing, but these are available. Assembly is really easy. They took me about 15 minutes each to assemble alone. If I had had help, it could have been done faster. Attaching the arms and back really needs an extra pair of hands. The weight rating is low enough that it may be a problem, depending on who is hired in the next few days. All that said, I find the chairs comfortable. The seat size is average, not oversized. The back provides plenty of support, and both are cushioned well for longer-term work. For someone who is larger, it may be uncomfortable; the chair is somewhat narrow and would be more comfortable for someone of smaller stature.

   My Butt Hurts!

   After doing A TON of research, I went with this chair because it fit my budget, there were plenty of positive reviews about its comfortability and I didn’t want to get another basic black office chair for my very feminine home office. 🙂 I recently started working full time from home which means I’m sitting for no less than 6 hours a day. The first couple of weeks, the chair was quite comfortable and I felt good that my extensive “office chair research” led me to purchase this chair. BUT NOW…about 6 weeks in, I realize that I should’ve spent a little more money for a more “cushier” chair with more padding! I have plenty of “natural” padding so there’s no issue there, but after a few weeks of sitting in it, my booty started to hurt and it felt like I was sitting directly on the frame plate! I ended up buying one of those popular seat cushions with memory foam just so that I can stand sitting in it. This chair is very easy to assemble (i did it myself in about 30mins) and it’s quite attractive, BUT it is NOT comfortable! Spend the extra $$ and get a chair with A LOT of padding/memory foam if you’re going to be sitting for several hours a day 5 days a week. 🙁

   Small size

   I would call this a 3/4 sized chair. I have (2) other high back office chairs. This one the back comes up to below the top of my shoulder where the others com up to the top of my neck. When I lean back, there is nothing supporting my neck or head.This is also a lot narrower than the other chairs. Sitting all the way back, the front of the seat is about 3/4 of the way out on my thigh.I will not be spending long hours in this chair. Maybe 2 or 3 hours a month. So it should be OK. If I was going to use this as my all day chair, no, I would not be happy. I am not sure of the 300 pound rating either. My two other chairs are rated for that and they both have all metal bases. This one is plastic.I may update this review after I have used it for a while to see how well it holds up,

    Computer desk chair of my dreams

    I had recently moved and had to leave my beat-up computer chair behind. I researched several different websites and the chairs that were offered but I finally decided on this Furmax Office Executive chair. I got the chair and it needed to be assembled, and I (a disabled female) did the assembly and just needed a little help holding parts together which I wasn’t able to do by myself due to physical disabilities. I absolutely love this chair, no more pressure on the back of my thighs, the back is comfortable and I have even taken little cat naps in it because it is so firm but easy to relax in. We will be buying my husband one as soon as we move into our new home. You won’t be disappointed buying this chair, I recommend it for anyone who has a physical problem sitting in hard chairs as I do. I was also amazed at the price, I worked in government offices for years, and similar (but not as good quality) cost the departments $300 to $400 each chair and this one was not near that price.

    Better than the last one?

    My previous chair was VERY similar to this one, but the plastic arms finally broke at the bolts. Based on this design it may be made by the same factory. However, the arms seem to be much stronger. Possibly a lesson learned? There may be a QC problem though with hardware. One of my bolts had no hole. It was filed with metal. Luckily I had a bolt from the old chair. Overall, for the price, it’s a decent chair. My previous chair lasted 4 years of heavy use at 250lbs.

    Functional, not long lasting

    This chair lasted 4 years. Almost to the day. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it, but the material has broken down in several spots and the arm rests are no longer soft and luxurious-feeling. About a year and a half ago, I did upgrade the wheels (took me long enough), and the whole 4 years, the little decorative caps over all of the screws/bolts kept popping off. Overall, it’s held up rather well. Admirably. And it’s been alright on the comfort level. I did opt for a towel (full disclosure) bc it’s super fluffy and added to my comfort since I was working 12 hr workdays and almost 80 hrs per week. This chair, despite its name, is probably not intended for that much use.Not terribly heavy, was easy for me to put together, and it did what I wanted. Keep in mind that it fits a small to average sized person (roughly 22 inches width) I think it’s alright for the cost. However, if you are like me, and like to cross your legs, this will not be pleasant. I do have bruising from the arm rests. They want you to sit properly.If you didn’t catch on, the wheels are/were horrible, and I finally gave in and realized I could replace them without replacing the whole chair. Sorry I can’t give my recommendation, but just know that the wheels should not even be bothered with.

    Super comfortable padding sturdy chair looks super high end, use it daily and it performs well. It was super easy to put together.Definitely sturdy and stable. I would recommend this to anybody looking for an office chair.

    Not an average-to-large person’s chair by any means.

    PROS:Comfortable seat cushionFeels sturdy and manufactured wellSwivels and rolls effortlesslyHeight adjustmentNot terribly heavyEasy assemblyCONS:Reclining feature is not greatBack cushion forces a very upright sitting posturePleather material will deteriorate within a couple yearsIt’s overpriced for what it is, even at $100.SUMMARY:I’m a little guy. 5’7 and 145 lbs. This chair feels like it was scaled for me and my little frame. Now, while that’s perfect for me, nearly everyone else I know or have ever known, are at least twice my size. And I can’t imagine them finding the overall size of this thing to be enough chair for them. Maybe I’m way off base here, but I’ve sat in regular sized office chairs and while they’d swallow me, they’re essentially perfect sized for most other people.Feels good to sit in, nothing amazing but it’s comfortable enough. Remember, it’s made with pleather. Every day use for long periods of time will wear the material out within two or three years. Won’t effect it’s performance but it will be ugly with cracks and wear/tear far quicker than real leather, of course. It looks very nice right out the box though. Not too heavy either.The reclining feature is a bummer, it’s like you really have to force it to lean back, like it’s fighting against your doing so. Which if your trying to lean back, you know putting a bunch of effort into your legs is the opposite of what you’re trying to achieve – which is relax without tension in any part of your body. It’s basically useless for my needs, anyway.The price, even at a measly $100 for an “executive office chair” does not reflect the hiccups with this thing because it’s not a one size fits all kind of chair. Anyone over 180 lbs and 5’10 will surely find it to be a bit snug and the back cushion to sit a bit short. The back forces you to sit very upright. Something that will take getting used to, especially since I can’t recline. This chair is kinda “meh” to be completely honest. I’ll spend at least twice as much next time and get five times the quality.Look, it’ll do the job for a while but there really isn’t anything very impressive about it besides what it visually looks like.I’ve no idea how so many people rated this thing with so many glowing reviews. There’s not a lot to boast about with a cheap $100 pleather chair that’s undersized for most people. I really don’t get it.I’d only recommend this at $65-$70. No way this is worth the $100 Amazon is currently pricing it at. Spend just a little a bit more, you’ll notice a huge jump in quality over this.

    man im not sorry i love this chair

    I hate most chairs that I have ever bought, they fall apart and are just generally garbage and uncomfortable. This chair is amazing, comfortable, easy to build and maneuver around in. I was worried the white would get dirty quick but after many months of owning it and my kids sitting in it, it is still white and beautiful!

    Goods: Easy to assemble, and very comfy. Seems pretty sturdy. (I am 230, 6’00”)(Maybe) not so goods – Creaks. Now maybe it is my heaviness, but I have tightened everything and still feels “wobbly” right the chair meets the piston (rocker mechanism) Chair is ok, but not as solid as I am used to with higher priced chairs.Overall, good value, very comfortable, and good height/width for me.

    When Covid hit early 2020, I was sent home to work remotely for the first time in my working life. However, my old chair that is pictured on the right is about 25 years old and no longer has any butt cushion. It quickly became painful to work in that chair all day. I have since moved to a new state and found a remote job I will be starting soon so I decided it was time to upgrade the chair. This is a decent chair if you are on a budget like I am and you are not hard on your stuff adding premature wear and tear. For me, it has good lumbar support which I needed, and more cush for the tush! I am a proportionate 5’2″ female and about 125 to 130 pounds. The seat has just enough room for my butt but I don’t think I would recommend this for larger people. I would look into sizing up to the big and tall chair. Take note of the seat and back size to know what would work best for you but this chair feels small yet good sized for me only because I was able to go by the measurements of my old chair. Might even be best for you to go into an office supply store to test out chair sizes for comfort before making a purchase. Sometimes I like to sit criss-cross applesauce and this chair has a very nice and smooth rocking motion after loosening the tight/loose knob for reclining and is so comfortable for me that I may fall asleep on the job and get fired. The back of the chair hits just above my neck so I am able to tilt my head back a bit to let it rest since my upper back and neck sometimes go numb after sitting for too long. Ugh, it’s just so much fun getting older!!Assembling the chair was easy until I got to step 4 to put the back of the chair on. If you have another person to hold the chair back for you to align with the chair arm holes and screw in, then you should be OK, but since I had no one to help, I had to take the seat off and lay it down. I still struggled to align the back while the arms were attached to the seat so I removed the arms from the seat and attached them to the chair back and then aligned the seat with the arms and screwed them in. Once done, I inserted the completed assembled seat, chair back, and arm attachments back onto the wheels. The wheels glide very easily and will take you across the room after one push.I am writing this review the same day I got the chair so will update if I run into any issues. Otherwise, I recommend this chair.

    Love this chair !!!

    Super easy to put together !!!! Really comfy chair and holds up well. the seat is a little wider than most office chairs which I prefer and I’ve had zero issues with the height adjustment bar. My desk is a little taller than my seated position so I have it set on the highest setting and it says right in place, hasn’t dropped down ! Best value for your money right here !! It’s a great chair for the price but I will say if you suffer from spine issues like myself or tend to have pain when sitting for extended periods of time, please do get yourself a seat cushion.

    I bought this Chair for my husband and it’s been a game changer for sure With him having Back pain! It so comfortable his Back dosen’t bother him like before he got this chair..     Just ok chair, not easy installation, return process ishorrible

    I have been using this chair from almost a month. Chair wise it’s good but installation is not so easy. I have to spend a lot of time trying to assemble the chair. I wanted to return this chair because my wife got me another one. But the return process was made so complex that u have to pay for your return and only the vendor accepts return, u will get your amount paid for USPS and final full amount for the chair. Think before purchasing from this seller.

    It’s a good chair, but not as good as it claims in the comfort category.

    So the chair was easy enough to assemble, no instructions are needed really, however, the claims that it’s good for long-time sitting aren’t that accurate, as after about an hour, the chair is soaked in sweat and I find myself having to sit further up without my back touching the seat to even stand a few hours, much less 8+ as it claims.It has a few creaks and I’ve had to tighten the screws once or twice, that us, until the tool they include became unable to do so due to being too malleable, a small bit of force and now what used to be hexagonal is basically circular now and has zero grip, that’s okay though because I have a proper steel hex set, which is better than whatever metal their tool was made of.So, to tally the list, swamp-ass, mediocre tool for assembly, and after a few hours, if I go to get up, I have to do so slowly, as the cushions on this chair aren’t as cushiony as they’d like you to believe and they flatten pretty easy and I get the shaky-legs on standing for a few seconds.My final gripe is that it reclines back too far, way too far, too far for comfort. You can limit the amount of force needed for it to recline back, but not how far it can go until it prevents you from going any further, except with the use of the gas lever, sliding it toward the base prevents it from reclining at all, a sort of lock, but I don’t want that either, I want it to recline, just not almost horizontally as it does now. I’ll continue to use it, but another forewarning, don’t take the insurance they offer in Amazon checkout, it’s only for it being damaged in transit. I had to replace my entire gas valve, because upon contacting the “extended 3 year insurance policy for accidental damage” after it gave out a few months into use, it’s not covered, so that was extra cash I’ll never have back again, not sure why they list it as a multiple year policy, it’s not going to take that long in transit, so only covering damage done in transit, it’s kinda like a scam, so… yeah, there’s that, and even extra out of pocket to replace the valve myself.

    Seat uncomfortable.

    Not a bad chair for the price, but I would not buy it again. The seat is very uncomfortable. I actually had to add a cushion from one of my outside chairs to make it livable. The back support is OK. Putting it together was not a problem but get all the screws started first before you tighten them and that will save you a lot of cussing.

    Not impressed

    Firstly, it’s worth mentioning that without a second person to help squeeze the back and seat together during assembly, it would have been difficult to fully attach and tighten the arms to this chair. In my opinion it’s definitely a two person job.But mainly, I will say that after having this chair for barely over a month, the seat is already quite flattened and as a result is not all that comfy. I’m well under 150 lbs so it’s not like the cushion is under a higher amount of weight either. The middle of the chair, where the two main sections meet, is the worst area, and at this point it feels like there is basically no cushioning there at all. It looks like it will be plush but this is definitely low quality padding that will compress quickly. In fact my last cheap chair from Ikea lasted me well over 5 years before it got as uncomfortable as this one already is. The back feels supportive and I like the it’s also got a fairly high back. If the chair will only get very occasional light use I’m sure it’s good enough, but if you plan to sit in this daily I would not recommend.

    Best Budget-Friendly Home Office Chair

    To be honest, this chair exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for a budget friendly comfortable chair for your home office this one will do just fine.Below are my thoughts on certain aspects of the transaction, delivery, and usage of the chair.1 – Transaction – smooth as usual and came with free shipping. (I am not a prime member)2 – Shipping – item arrived much sooner than the estimated delivery window.3 – Packaging – excellent packaging, but do inspect all the included items, to ensure you have a stress free installation process.4 – Installation Process and Time – the included directions is as clear as night and day. Follow the directions as laid out in the instructions manual. The tightening tool needed is also included. Its not as stressful as installing an Ikea furniture, but expect to spend about 30 to 60 minutes to get it right.5 – I know its not real leather but, it sure feels like one. No bad smell like other fake leathered chairs I have encountered in the past. In fact, people looking at it would assume its genuine leather.Overall, this is an excellent chair to use if you spend a great deal of time working or playing online. Good purchase and I gladly recommend this chair to all those seeking durability and posture comfort while working from home of office.

    Pretty good budget office chair.

    Its a little firm but not too bad, decently comfortable. Assembly isn’t hard but the instructions have a couple steps in a weird order that is physically hard to manage, It tells you to put the arms on, then the back, But i found it much easier to put one arm on, then the back, then the other arm. Its got great support, and overall i’d say very much worth it. Great for only $100.

    Looks bigger in the picture

    I should have taken it upon myself to compare the measurements of this chair with my old chair, But I didn’t. The chair is very easy to assemble and seems strong and worthy of its 300lb rating. Over all comfort is good but, at 6’1″ 287lbs the chair is just too small and the back is too low for my taste.The chair is very attractive seems to be well made and the seat is comfortably padded, its just not big enough for me. My youngest son is the benefactor as I have passed the chair on to him and purchased myself a larger chair.

    Comfy but does not tilt

    It’s comfortable but I was looking forward to the tilt but it does not exist even when I loosened the tension all the way. I’ve also had it for a few months and I notice that it’s slowly deflating and flattening, especially the armrest area where I constantly place my elbows. Not a longterm chair

    Nice looking, comfortable chair.

    Great chair. Gas lift failed and kept sinking. I am 250lbs and chair is rated for 300lbs. I contacted the company which was 3 months after I purchased chair and they sent me new parts to remedy situation.I would definitely buy from this company again!

    Don’t find it comfortable

    Bought this chair after reading many reviews stating it is comfortable. I don’t find it comfortable. I use it for several hours a day and I miss my old chair. Unfortunately the fake leather on that one was deteriorating badly, so decided it was time for a new one. Will see if I can get an additional seat pad to improve the comfort. Also the arms on this chair are about an inch further apart than my other chair, which annoys me. My arms are always resting on the edge of the chair arms instead of the middle. The quality seems good and the material seems like it may last. Again, the comfort just isn’t there for me.
