Deceiving
This must be a joke! Received for the first time and used it once. When going to use fir the 2nd time the Auto wasn’t working and returned for an exchange. Guess what, yesterday receive the replacement and when opening and trying to use it , THE SAME PROBLEM, Auto does not work.. it seems they sent me back the same damaged one…incredible and unexpected from an Amazon seller!

Auto Mode does not work
This thing shreds paper. The bin gets full fast which is fine. However, when you have the device in Auto/shred mode, the gears and motor keep spinning even when there is no paper in it, so you manually have to turn it off. Not a helpful feature in a device like this.

Small shredder -No handle, safety concern
The media could not be loaded.
Smaller than expected. No handle to pull up from so you have to be very careful it is OFF or you can do some serious damage to yourself. Fills up quickly. The bag used is the bag it came in from the packaging. Ok if it is for personal use of mail discard but not for home office use as I planned on using it for.

The motor on this model seems ok so far. The plastic stand/holder could be stronger. The first time we took delivery the plastic stand was broken/cracked so we sent it back. Amazon was good about sending us a replacement which so far has worked out well. Like many previous reviewers of any paper shredder we never go to the max number of pages bz these things inherently fail under the load, so we keep it simple at around 2- 3 page max at a time.

picture shows a curved opening at front of basket so it can be used for trash not shredded. Product received not the one pictured in ad. Works okay, just useless for other trash necessitating placement of two items by desk for paper waste. Facial tissues do not shred.
