I purchased this mirror for my mom for Christmas in bronze, and saw hers installed and decided I wanted one for myself in chrome. The light works great, both plugged in with the included cord and with batteries.

Light only works when plugged in or with batteries
I like the magnifying mirror but if your not careful it will pop off easily because that is where the batteries go. It has a cord but the plug is located in a bad spot so the mirror has to be tilted. swivel is stiff but hopefully will loosen up with use.

As Described / Easy to Install
This product is fine and works as described, it was easy to install. No issue with the swing arm or lights. The batteries hid and fit nicely behind the mirror. I would like to contact seller- I was wondering if we could order replacement parts for the mirror – say if one broke/cracked while (re)placing the batteries, or the 10x is too much magnification and we’d like to try the 7x magnification. How would we go about doing that vs. ordering another mirror?

Distorted very bad
I bought this mirror while we were remodeling our bathroom. By the time we got the room done, my return window time had passed, so I kept this mirror and I am now going to have to trash it. The magnifying side is so distorted it almost makes me nauseated to look into it and try to apply my makeup. I am very disappointed, and it was a waste of money.

CAREFULLY READ THE DESCRIPTION- – it is NOT a standalone RECHARGEABLE.
While everything else about the mirror is nice, just be aware that unless you purchase rechargeable AAA batteries separately, this mirror is NOT a standalone rechargeable. And having a cord plugged it is ridiculous because you can’t rotate the mirror. I didn’t read the description close enough. For this price point it should have its own internal battery. Returning.
