So soft and velvety
I barely notice it on after applying it. The color is vivid, deep, and full. It feels pretty soft on the lips. It lasts a long time too as long as you avoid oil. I found it easy to apply, but for extra precision I’d use a lipstick brush.I got this for a Halloween costume but I’m pretty spooky and would definitely wear it out on an average day. I’m really tempted to pick up more colors!

Non transfer!
I’ve always had trouble finding perfect colors I like and these 2 are my favorite! I definitely over apply on my lips a little bit and you do need to make crisp lines. This product has fantastic coverage. It’s comfortable, doesn’t feel like too much is on my lips. One lasts me 2-4 months and I use it everyday! I love wearing lipstick. It doesn’t transfer when I kiss my husband. You do just have to let it dry though. Choose these two colors, the others are too dark or too pink! It’s light and very valuable for your money. I love the way it looks especially because i don’t even have to apply lip liner, this does it for me all in one. I will say, when you eat, it will wear off so I do reapply and when it wears off it leaves the outer part with product and the inner of your lips naked. BUT I did notice if you apply too much, it does get cakey and if you have peely lips, it can hinder the product coverage since those lip peels can come off along with the product. To take it off, wipe harshly with a dry paper towel. If you use makeup remover or oily product, it will smear and stain around your lips. You can definitely get it off but I tend to eat and wipe with a napkin and remove all the product, then re apply. Just makes it more consistent.

Perfect at first, but degrades with time.
This lipstick was absolutely perfect, at first. Love the way it feels on my lips, don’t feel it at all. Not dry, not cakey, not sticky, doesn’t dry into clumps. Feels like velvet putting on and dries pretty quickly, but not too quickly – easy to fix line errors unlike others. Once dry does not smudge. Easy to wipe off teeth if it gets on there. Excellent color, lasts several hours, without color change. Minimal lip staining after removal. Minimal transfer on beverages. Moderate transfer when eating food that contains fat, but this doesn’t smudge it like it does others. Just gets removed from lips. OK, so what I don’t like is that after owning this for a mere 2 months, it’s rapidly becoming harder to apply in an even way and with crisp lines. I use it exactly once a week. It seems the liquid is starting to dry out and get goopy in the tube. This is disappointing! But I suppose at the low price point, it’s acceptable. The only other liquid no-transfer lipstick I’ve used is Anastasia and those are crappier and more expensive, but I will say some of them will maintain the same quality as new, years into their life, and they are easier to apply and do so with clean lines than this.

Better than Maybelline
…which cracks at lip lines creating a not-good 2 tone effect. Not NYX, which feels softer on the lips (it’s got an excellent applicator wand) and no breaking of the color in lip lines. It doesn’t last as long as I would like BUT I’ve discovered you can touch up over the first application without worry about peeling or transfer or bleed. The trick is to allow a good dry down. Do not press your lips together or let them touch anything. Let the NYX dry fully and then go about your day.

Lipstain
Love the color and applicator. Pencil might help. Friend recommended and said it stays on a long time. It gets on my teeth after applying unlike another brand. Then wears off as I drink water, draining the water bottle. My lips get dry so need a moisturizer too.

This lipstick is a COMMITMENT
For reference, I have very fair, cool-toned skin, and dry lips. I bought both Untameable on On Fuego, and they both looked just a little darker once dried than in the picture. The Untameable looked better on me because it’s a cooler color. On Fuego looked a little too orangey for my skin tone.But all that being said, THESE ARE AWESOME! I did a sugar scrub, then put on vaseline while I was putting on the rest of my makeup. Then wiped all the Vaseline off and applied 2 coats of color (about 3 minutes between coats). We went to dinner, had pasta, bread, drinks…this stuff DID NOT BUDGE. Like AT ALL. Then we went out running errands, & I started to feel a little dry, so I applied a (VERY oil-rich) balm, just a light layer. I think that may have caused just a TINY bit of feathering (I hadn’t used any lip liner), but the color was still rich & now had a little sheen from the balm. When I went to bed that night (about 6 hours after application), I SCRUBBED with a makeup remover wipe, did my normal night lip mask (again, very oil-rich), and the next morning my lips STILL had a pink tinge to them.I’m sure the lighter colors wouldn’t have this much “staining” effect, but this stuff is just about a lip tattoo!

Love this lipstick – but be mindful of broken seals
I’ve ordered this in 4 colors so far and love all but one! Very long lasting, easy to apply and a great matte finish. Some of the colors are fairly close in shade so I think it would be better if NYX created more variation between them.I got the Sizzlin’ (oxblood red) and that one has a very strange consistency. I actually ordered it twice because the seal was broke on one but both had the same issue where the color separates while applying. So you get clumps of deep red with some lighter red base. There’s no way to fix it so its unusable. If you want a deep red, just find a different brand I suppose.That said, I’ve had to have tubes of this replaced twice after receiving open and obviously used product, despite the no return policy. I’ve had tubes come with broken tape seal, ripped open plastic outer packaging so just check your product before putting it on your face. Amazon will replace it if you message them.

Surprised me!!
This stayed on so well! I did need a touch up like 5 hours later and lots of water drinking – but WOW! I didn’t expect it to last so long, even though that’s the whole point of it haha! I am so happy with the results that I’ll probably buy more! I got this for halloween, so I tested it before just to make sure it’s realllllly gonna last while I’m out on the town and now I’m certain this was a good choice!ALSO I got this color because I know red sometimes makes teeth look yellow, so I specifically searched blue hued red lipstick, and this was one of the ones that popped up. It definitely helps make my teeth look white, I wasn’t unhappy at all with how it looked on me. So if you’re also worried about that, don’t – this is a great shade of red!

Such A Beautiful Shade of Black
This liquid lipstick is so pigmented and creamy I could almost cry! And it’s NOT one of those shades of black that are actually dark blue or dark grey with shimmer, it is a full on black. It doesn’t transfer easy at all, provided that you are careful with eating and drinking with a straw. Not even kisses could sway this lipstick! It lasts me all day with only need for application after about 8 hours.

Long lasting, amazing
I’ve been wearing this for about 5 hours now, drinking and eating, and it’s lasted me so well! I haven’t had to touch up or anything. I have the nyx matte lipstick, and that makes my lips dry. I’ve not had that issue with this!! I’m obsessed. It’s a little sticky, but mostly dries with no issue. And the color is perfect: it dried a tad darker than i was expecting, but I LOVE it!

i haven’t done like a longwear test yet but i did try it on and it’s very pretty. it’s got good pigment very opaque. it’s very very low-transfer but it isn’t 100% no transfer. maybe i didn’t let it dry long enough before i tested that though. it doesn’t really smudge. the other reviews were right that it does feel tacky after it dries so if that’s a big sensory issue for you i’d avoid it. i like the fragrance personally it’s like a vanilla coconut type smell i think. you can’t smell it anymore once it dries down though and it does dry down quickly. it was fairly east to take off with micellar water + facial cleanser. i was gonna get sunset makeup’s black liquid lipstick but this was a few dollars cheaper and the reviews didn’t deter me. i like it overall :^)

Stays so well it’s impressive
Wore it for three or four hours at a show, sweated my butt off, drank multiple beers, and it didn’t smudge or transfer. It DID transfer a little when my husband practically tried to eat my face later, but it was so minimal I was impressed.It DOES go on pretty sticky and take a while to dry, but the staying power is worth.

Long lasting color
Long lasting color but for my chap stick addicts out there, it does start to wear off once you use chapstick over. Still last longer than a lipstick/gloss would, but will leave marks on glasses, silverware, etc. I bought it in Peek Show, it showed a little more pink on me than I would have liked, but I still like it. Goes on easy with equal coverage and dries quickly.

For the price it has really great coverage and is a really nice matte black. It also seems to be very durable, I haven’t fully tested it by wearing it all day but it seems to last for the couple hours i wore it. My only complain is that it was very very sticky. It holds up well against a lot!
Make-up technology has improved greatly in the last 20 years! I missed wearing black lipstick and wanted to try something besides the regular tube/stick that I’ve used before. It went on easily, dried quickly resulting in an attractive and comfortable matte finish.This stuff is great, and I’m considering buying it in “work appropriate” shades! I live in coastal South Florida, and I tested this on a resort day. It held up surprisingly well against the heat/sweat, through several poolside beverages, eating a hot wing, eating Italian Ice and dunking my head underwater. I only had to reapply a little bit after the pool day was over.Attached are photos throughout the “tests”, showing how it looked throughout and after all of the activities listed. This lipstick beat my expectations, and I can’t wait for more opportunities to wear it!

Gorgeous
Gorgeous color! More of a lip stain so plan on super scrubbing off or wearing the lingering color for a few days. Not very moisturizing but gives a really nice full coverage, pouty look. Textures a lil sticky initially but glides on darn near perfect then dries to a fabulous velvety matte.

Lasts all day
The thickness is great, easy to apply. I don’t feel a stickiness after it dried when I smack my lips together like other products I’ve tried before. It’s drying on the lips but I can’t think of one liquid lipstick that isn’t but this is probably the only one I’ve used that lasted all day. No matter what I eat or drink that lip color did not budge.

It lasts for hours!
I’ve been on the hunt for a affordable lip stain for years and I’ve finally found the one! The color I’m wearing is “Strip & Tease” (horrible name, great color). The bottle in the picture is several months old – I start this almost daily, and it’s still hot a good amount left. I’ve included 3 pictures of my lips for comparison. 1 had no lipstick, the next has the dried lipstick, and the last is after applying lip floors and dabbing.If you want it to last most of the day, I recommend first exfoliating you’re lulips to remove dry skin, then let them dry completely. Next, apply the lipstick (not a excessive amount, just normal) and allow that to fully dry. Lastly, use whatever lip gloss you like and dab. For me, very little comes off when I dab, which is good because it means my lips have absorbed the color, which is why it lasts so long!

I applied this lipstick at 7:45 am this morning. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner and taken a nap after work and it’s still on at 9:03 pm. I bought it for my wedding because it was listed as a dupe for the Kat Von D liquid matte lipstick and honestly this product holds up better!

Holds AMAZING!
I’ve never had a lipstick that held this well. Applied it once at the beginning of my work day, and only had to reapply on my inner lips near the end of the day. (9 hour shift) Held up to drinking, snacking and talking all day long lol. Plan to wear it if you put it on though, because it doesn’t want to come off even with makeup remover until the end of the day. I soaked my lips with micellar water to get it off.

Looks Pretty… for 2 Seconds
The media could not be loaded.
1. Shipping: I ordered this on March 8th and received it on March 12th with Prime shipping. It was shipped in a box with multiple orders. This is pretty quick, so that was nice.2. Packaging: The lone lipstick was rolling around like a roller derby girl all by itself in the box with a shipping label on it. I thought this was trashy. No bubble wrap? No little bit of packaging? Just a shipping label I still can’t manage to get completely off? Oh well.3. Appearance: It is the PERFECT shade of black- not dark purple, not blue, not grey. The lipstick itself feels moisturizing and light on my lips, which can be a weak point for most matte liquid lipsticks. It’s very opaque- the lipstick you see in my photos was applied with one coat. It blends out very easily for a softer look and will need to set for around 1 minute after applying (you can see in the swatch on my arm it still moves around for up to ~45 seconds). I love how this looks until…4. Longevity: I wear it. In the photos and video clip, I did not eat or drink. All I did was talk, and it started having visible wear off. Here is why the rating is so low. It’s a generous amount of lipstick but I don’t have time to stop and continually fix my lipstick because I looked at it wrong when lipsticks like my Rimmel Stay Matte don’t budge after eating hot wings and barbeque chips. Also, it takes forever to dry down, meaning that if you do ANYTHING- talk, think too loud, etc. when applying this lipstick it will smudge and stain your skin. It doesn’t rub off colour onto any surfaces though- my clothes, someone else, my furniture. When it’s dry, it’s dry and doesn’t transfer. It just… disappears. Where is it going? Who hexed my lipstick?5. Value: You can see from the size of it compared to my hand it’s a very generous size, bigger than all of my other liquid lipsticks. I paid $7.50, which is a very decent price, but I’d only buy it again if they reformulated it to not disappear off my lips and leave the unsightly remains of what was a gorgeous lipstick.Overall, due to the poor packaging and the way it crumbles off my lips only 10 minutes after application, I give it 3 stars. I expected better from Nyx and will have to look elsewhere for my dream matte black liquid lipstick. I might have to raid the Halloween section at Wal-Mart again.

So I put on two coats and absolutely loved it! it didn’t feel dry or sticky at all. I have sensory issues with a lot of “long lasting” lipsticks. This one didn’t give me any issues and i’m genuinely surprised. Very happy with it, no wearing off of any kind on anything. Wet glass, straw, pipes, stayed on all night.

You need to remove your actual lips to get this stuff off! Great option for all day wear with minor touch ups after multiple hours. Goes on smooth, actually black, and good quality.
