long wearing but the colors are often deceptive
i love myx lip products and i bought this in espresso to pair with revlon rum raisin. its really gorgeous and accurately depicted, but i’ve bought another color of this pencil before that was marketed as more of a nude but ended up being full on bubblegum pink. i would recommend looking up how these actually swatch before picking a color, but the formula is great and so is the price!

Cute and natural
I got two colors: peakaboo natural & natural. They’re very similar and both very natural-looking lip colors. These lip pencils glide on nicely (you don’t have to dig them into your skin like some other liners) and they’re easy to sharpen too.I’m a big fan of both colors and I knew they were similar but I couldn’t choose which one I liked better so I’m glad I got both. I rarely wear makeup and when I do, I like it looking extra natural. These are perfect because they give my lips extra volume without looking like I tried or even put any make up on. They match perfectly with the natural color of my lips and the liner blends seamlessly so there’s no stark line around my mouth.I’m probably going to buy more colors! I was impressed with the quality of these at just $4.

Excellent lip liner
This is the first lip liner I’ve ever used and I love it. It elevates my already full lips, making me look like I get lip injections!! Love how it changes the lip border. Love the color that looks natural on me. I can’t wait to buy more colors and try them out with lipsticks. Great price too!

Doesn’t Stay On! Update
Update: I felt a need to redeem myself. Changing this review! This has become a favorite (I use espresso) After working with it again, I love it. It actually stays on well, and I can overline a bit and it looks great. I am 57, and this stuff is creamy. It doesn’t skip or crumble up in lines, and the color actually looks great with the darker nudes I wear. I use this a lot, even prefer it over my Charlotte Tilbury liner, which feels drier to me. What can I say, sometimes it takes me a second to get on board. It’s a good one.I purchased Espresso because I have the mechanical NYX liner Sand Beige, which I love, but I wanted a darker shade and that particular kind didn’t have a color to suit me. So I tried the pencil. Beautiful color–goes on nice, too. But when I checked my lips an hour after application, I could hardly see the liner. It just disappeared and faded into my lipstick. Not the look I wanted. It was under 5.00, so I don’t feel too bad, but I wouldn’t recommend unless you like your liner to disappear. 🙁

Smooths lip liner, but fades quickly
This lip liner goes on smoothly and has a creamy texture that feels nice on the lips. The color is rich and vibrant, perfect for defining lips and creating a base for lipstick. I love that it’s easy to apply and doesn’t tug at my lips. However, I noticed that it tends to fade quickly and needs to be reapplied often, especially if you’re eating or drinking. It’s also a bit softer than other liners, so it can break easily if you’re not careful. Overall, it’s a good lip liner for short wear, but it could use a bit more staying power!!

Pretty Colors
This pencil comes in many pretty shades. It is easy to use even though it is a bit dry. This probably helps it stay on better so that could be a plus as well. I just use a little bit of lip balm with it to even out the dryness. Also, it stays on for a good while without reapplying. There is no bad taste or smell to this product and that means a lot to me! Price is right so I am going to purchase this in more colors. Thank you Amazon!!
