these are not the same envelopes, but the listing is the same!
I re-ordered these envelopes because the first time I liked them. The second, they arrived in a differently branded box. In the new batch, the adhesive strips are slightly wider, but every time I pull off the strip to stick them, it gets stuck and rips. The adhesive is different. These are also a hair smaller than the last envelopes delivered from the same listing. The back seam isn’t all the way glued up to the top, and the paper feels thinner. Very disappointing.

perfect envelope for those 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 handmade greeting cards
If you make cards for a big group to sign, the easiest configuration is simply folding an 8-1/2 x 11″ paper in half. That nets you an 8-1/2″ by 5-1/2 inch card. Lots of room for everyone to sign. A few embellishments and then you are wondering where to get an enveloped strong enough to to go through the mail.These are perfect!!!! Paper is bit heavier than your standard envelope so you can embellish the envelope too. Great price too- 13 cents each.

Great Value and Quick Shipping
Product exceeded expectations. I have gone through almost 500 of these, and I have yet to have one of them be defective. Also, shipped and arrived quicker than stated, which was great because it saved me from running to the store and spending same amount of money and receiving fewer envelopes.

Great for sewing patterns
Perfect for organizing downloaded and multi-size sewing patterns that I’ve made. I used a copier to print the original pattern on the envelope then fold the pattern and store inside. You can store many in a small space and it’s easy to find the pattern you’re looking for. It seemed like 100 was way too many, but I was surprised how many I’ve already used and am glad I have them.

See-through
I typically don’t write 4 star reviews, it’s either 5 or 1… otherwise I don’t bother. The only reason these get 4 is that they are a bit see through. I send art prints in them and I don’t like that you can see them through the envelope. It’s not a huge deal, I just wish they were more opaque.For that reason only am searching for different 6 x 9 envelopes. They are nice and will come back to them if I don’t find what I’m looking for.

Wonderful Deal
You couldn’t get a better deal on envelopes this size unless they were free. I am about to order my second box of white, and have been very pleased with them. Are they top of the line quality? No, but they don’t need to be, as they are strong enough to ship not only flat objects, but three dimensional items as well. Many envelopes on the market use glue that doesn’t stick, which is one of my pet peeves. I mean, really, in this day and age they can’t make a simple envelope that seals? That’s like purposely making envelopes so the contents fall out. Anyway, you won’t have that problem with these envelopes, as the seal holds very well. An added bonus is the fast shipping. Good deal all the way around.

Product Changed – Thinner Envelope and Smaller Adhesive Strip
Giving 3 stars because they changed the quality of the envelope drastically! I purchased this about a year ago and the envelopes were thick and not see through at all. Repurchased last month and they are much thinner and you can see through them now. The adhesive part to seal the envelope has also changed, instead of going across the entire lip – it now only has a 3″ adhesive redi-strip. This leaves a 1.5 on each side of the envelope I now have to tape down so it doesn’t get caught when going through the postal machines causing the envelope to tear.I purchase these because I can put them through my printer, I will probably continue to purchase them because they are still the best price around. Hopefully “Quality Park” will change the quality back to the way they use to be the next time I have to order them.

Flaps don’t hold, after a few days about half of the envelopes came open on their own
I packed a bunch of envelopes with flat items (1/4 – 3/8″ thick) and placed them on a shelf in several stacks. A few days later I noticed the flaps had sprung open on the top envelope in each stack (yes the flaps were on the top side). After removing the top item for shipping (and taping the flap down), the next day the next envelope in each stack had the flap sticking up.Since I have to tape the flaps anyway I might as well buy cheaper envelopes that are not “self-sealing”. I’ve used Kraft envelopes in the past and never had a problem, even using the cheesy self-stick gum flaps. I would have thought peel-n-stick flaps would work better than gum, but obviously not with this brand.

Best envelopes
Works as expected. A little hard to fold flap down. Have to crease it first before removing strip over adhesive. The adhesive works perfectly. With other envelopes I would have to add a strip of tape to make sure it holds but not with these
