It was fine otherwise but the rod that holds all the layers together fell out somewhere when I was walking. I had only been using it for two days. I never dropped it before that either. Now I just have bent paper clips holding it together haha

It’s all pretty good except for the pen holder under the top tray. The cut out is too big and allows my pens to fall into the bottom tray. I put a layer of tape across the cut out and problem solved but in a few other clipboards I didn’t have this problem.

Great storage solution
Been using it for a while now. It’s holding up good considering the rough life it lives. I’m getting some minor scratches but again it bounces around my truck all the time so that’s to be expected. The clip is really nice and holds a single piece of paper or a bunch of papers without issue. The double compartments make it really nice to organize my paperwork. No complaints at all from this and I would definitely buy it again should the need arise

The modern clip board with ample storage for anyone in any profession that needs a solid clipboard.
I use thee bad boys almost daily at work doing estimates. It holds paper, pens, an iPad, a small 12 foot tape measure and a small Bosch laser distance measurer. It keeps it all in one place, keeps it organized, protected, dry, and looks professional in black. Can’t imagine working effectiently without. Theymlast for years using it daily. Strong and good looking
There are a lot of these out there in plain aluminum or colored plastic. I like that this one is a slightly metallic looking charcoal. The clasp works great and I like the hinge on top so that when I open it, the papers hanging from the clamp are still hanging neatly. It has plenty of storage space and seems durable despite its light weight. If you are on a work site with several others, your storage clipboard will stand out as the classy one!

Love the shelf. Great industrial strength
Had a tough box for 7 years and the only reason I replaced It was the hinge wire broke. Glad I did because my search brought me to this one which has a shelf inside that I never thought I needed but since I started using It I’ve found multiple reasons for why it’s there. Great for daily use in the field and can take a beating. I’ve dropped this a few times. I also like how It opens from the top, I find this helps with the times my old one would open unexpectedly while taking It out of my briefcase spilling its contents. Would buy again (hopefully I won’t have to for at least another 7 years)

I work for a company where I do security all night. There are pool checmicals we have to log as well as a report we have to write up throughout the night and other paper work such as incident reports, medical reports, rules, and more information about our facilities.Before I had a 3 ring binder for all the loose papers and information, one clipboard for pool chemical log, and another clipboard for my report. This was kind of annoying to have to juggle between the three.After getting this I can now consolidate everything into this one location. It has plenty of storage and is made of all high quality materials. I highly recommend this for anyone in Law Enforcement/Security, Fire/EMS, or Military. It is great for taking reports of any kind anywhere.

Not sharp – good build quality.
I’m not sure where all this misinformation about “sharp edges” is coming from. I ordered the black one and it has no sharp edges at all. All the sides are smoothed aluminum – not sharp at all. And the corners, which would be the sharpest, aren’t sharp either. The corners are “hard” – this item is metal… and I guess it will scratch a surface if you dig it in or something, but there’s nothing sharp about the black clipboard.The build quality is great. The clip is super tight and will hold even a single sheet of paper. The clasp for opening everything up is rugged and tight as well – it doesn’t flop open or anything. And I love all the room, the two separate shelves and the pencil holder. We’ll see how it will hold up over time, but for now I’m pleased with this product.

Manufacturing is flawed. Hinge pin comes out.
I do contract security so I have paperwork I carry with and issue when necessary. after about a month a half, the hinge pin fell out. I put it back into place. This repeated a few times until the pin was lost without realizing what had occurred. I go through a lot of clipboards due to durability. I thought this one might last. Unfortunately, it did not.

Great clipboard! Love the storage!
I am very pleased with this product, it’s the perfect size and the storage space is exactly what I needed. I already personalized mine with some custom vinyl decals 🙂 I was pleasantly surprised with the awesome pen slot under the front clip. Speaking of the clip, it’s nice and stout/strong (another awesome surprise). I added a piece of decal vinyl folded in half over the center dip in the small storage slot inside the clipboard (pics included) and it’s a great spot to store paperclips so they won’t bounce all over the place when the board bounces around the work truck. I wish there was a small cover over that mini storage spot so it would hold pens clips etc in place. But I’m sure I can come up with a solution somehow. Oh and it’s not magnetic. It’s aluminum and you can’t stick magnets to aluminum. (I though I saw a question about that somewhere) anyways, on the note of it being aluminum, it is a softer metal so I don’t expect this thing to stay nice and straight for too long. The hinge is a little loose but there’s a rod inside that holds it together so as long as that doesn’t fail then this thing should hold together just fine. All in all I love it! Oh and the black colored one is more of a metallic black/charcoal color (I LOVE IT!).

It’s ok
I like the metal clipboards. I feel they are easier to clean in a oily and dirty environment, such as in the shop, or in your garage. This particular one is average. It should be strong enough for what it is used for. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a hole to hang it on the wall with. Also I think it opens from the wrong end. This one opens from the top. My old one opened from the bottom. This one is nice because it does have a partition in it. I have my Tab 7 tablet + paper in mine fits great. Also the clip holds the paper well. All in all it is descent.

I needed a clipboard and I seen this one MY FAV COLOR TOO its light but it seemed sturdy my dad uses the same company clipboard so I trusted it A LOT a little bit too much, It came DAMAGED like dents EVERYWHERE and it has deep scratches…I really hope they can replace it or send me one that isnt Damaged because this was 30 something dollars. It isnt much money but come on…I could have bought a cheaper one and have doubts but it would come perfectly fine and not damaged.

It can withstand the usage by a very active worker!
I bought this for my husband and he’s dropped it several times at work (sometimes more than six feet to the ground), and it is still holding up fantastic! He says it is extremely durable, has plenty of room to hold everything he needs to inspect the yard at work, etc. Would definitely recommend buying this product!

This will NOT hold legal size documents.
I bought two of these specifically because it said it was legal size and I wanted a clipboard with storage for legal-sized documents. What a waste. The clipboard section just BARELY holds an 8.5″×14″ piece of paper–it’s 13.75″ long–but there’s no getting that piece of paper into the storage because it’s nowhere near long enough. You have to magically shrink the page down to letter size when you’re ready to store it. This might work well for some people, but if you want something to store legal-sized pages, keep looking.Aside from that, they don’t seem bad. I might keep one or both of the ones I bought for other purposes, but they definitely will not work for the specific purpose for which I got them, which is really frustrating.

Sturdy & convenient clipboard with storage!
I bought this is to aid in my fieldwork that I do for the appraisal district. This has plenty of room inside for papers, brochures, business cards, and pens. I love that it opens from the top so that I don’t lose everything when I open it. Also provides a great writing surface which is absolutely useful when taking legible notes while standing. Clip is strong so will keep your papers secure, and also has a small lever to increase the strength of the clip should you have a lot of papers to secure. The only thing I don’t love about this is that when you’re driving it rattles a bit when empty. I usually just put my tablet in it to quiet it down or put my next day’s paperwork in it.

The only thing I wish it had was something to block the bottom tray holder to hold pens in but I guess I could put tape there to hold pens,paper clips, etc I have no idea what this little thing is on the back of the main clip but it works good for holding a single paper clip at a time over all 4 stars
