Hard to use

It’s ok, but I expected better
It goes on nicely, but smudges a couple hours after application. I researched a ton of different eyeliners and read this is one of the best. I definitely expected better. What happened to the waterproof eyeliners you had to scrub off at the end of the day?! I’d love to find them. This is the 10th brand I’ve bought this year with no luck yet.

Stila is the best
Stila is the best eyeliner!! The felt tip application works best for me with my hooded eyes and I always wing my liner. The double end with the smaller pen helps with precision.I’ve been using this kind for literal years (single ended version) and the quality of the product is top tier for not smearing and staying well. I recommend using a primer (setting spray if you may sweat too) and then this liner will last allllllll day.The drugstore dupes (Revlon, colourpop, etc) work ok for staying power but the felt tip is either too stiff or too flimsy for me – Stila is just right for my application.

Dry
The product as I remembered it was super smooth and would glide on. I bought this thinking it would do the same, but this one was dry and wouldn’t line my eyes as I expected. If I try to use it the eye liner will apply super dry and will roll and dust of liner comes off of it then gets on other parts of your makeup. I thought maybe this eyeliner is no longer good. But when I purchased the same product from Ulta the one from Ulta is exactly how I remember this product. Do not recommend purchasing this from here.

Stays put with a crisp clean line very easy to draw
I love this eyeliner. Easier to use than liquid with a brush. Solid, clean line. You can make it as thick or as thin as you want. the tips on both ends are super thin, so detailing options are endless. I usually draw with the big thick end, and fill in the small details or areas i missed with the smaller fine tip.If you like precise, clean, bold or have a bit of ocd when it cones to your eyelines- youll love this. I always reorder this eyeliner.

Looks nice when it works
While the Stila eyeliner in black stays on better than other alternatives I have tried, it’s quickly become dried out and difficult to use. Not sure if this is a freshness thing due to purchasing from Amazon or if quality has declined as I don’t recall this issue from buying in person years ago. Cleaning the tips hasn’t helped either unfortunately.As for the dual tips, I do like it as a concept though I did find myself generally using the regular side. I find this pen harder to use than the Nyx Epic Ink which has a really flexible, sturdy tip that is my favorite so far, meanwhile the Stila does not work well for the technique of lining the pen with your nose and outer eye to use the side of the pen to mark the line for your cat eye.So overall I like it. Appreciate that it’s a deep black that stays on well especially with a primer base and doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes, but with how dry the tips got in less than a month I will probably stick with Nyx for now.

Nice eyeliner. I like the fact that there’s an original tip and a micro tip to get those snatched wings.Wipes away with water easily. Not waterproof but it doesn’t smudge.

Favorite eyeliner
I love Stila eyeliners for the long lasting wear. I especially love finding it half off on Amazon. The pros of the liner are it’s double sided so you can use it for long thin lines or bulkier cat/Smokey eye looks. The product has lasted me 18 mo the last 2 times I’ve purchase.
