Same thing as Zyrtec, but much cheaper! The pills are rectangular, which is odd, but didn’t affect my ability to swallow the pill.

Great price for Cetirizine HCL!
I have to take daily allergy medications – it’s a 365 day proposition or I develop sinus and upper respiratory issues. This gets rather costly when buying name-brand versions. I am glad I found this product on Amazon – as it does what it should, at a price that doesn’t break the bank!

There was an issue and I wanted to return product. Amazon said it wasn’t returnable so I reached out to the company directly and they handled it. Cheaper than my Medicare copay
$9.48 for a full year 365 day supply of generic Zyrtec. It’s the exact same thing as I get a prescription for, and just buying it off Amazon is cheaper than what my already cheap copays would have cost.

They seem to work the same as name brand
Zyrtec knocks me out for some reason, and these do the same thing. I suppose that mans they’re equally effective. I’ve actually resorted to taking a half tablet, for only a 5mg dose. This is actually a recommendation on the name brand. That said, I wish these had a score mark like real Zyrtec for a more even break, but they do break pretty close to even. For $10 and HSA eligible, these are a ‘must try’ item if you are a Zyrtec user. If you are a half-tab user like myself, this is effectively a 2 year supply. As with anything, your mileage may vary.

They’re weirdly rectangular, but work fine
So far, they seem to work as well as any other cetirizine or brand name Zyrtec I’ve taken, and the price is great.I only knocked off a star because they’re rectangular. Who tf makes rectangular pills? This hasn’t proven to be a problem so far, and I take it w/ several other pills. But it might be a problem for someone who has difficulty swallowing pills. I really can’t think of any valid reason to make a rectangular pill other than to try to be edgy or different. It’s just kinda weird.It’s a small, flat–rectangular–pill w/ very slightly rounded corners and a smooth outer coating; about 3/8″ (9mm) long. I’ve included a photo of it next to a standard extra strength acetaminophen (Tylenol).

great price, significantly less than other generics. odd shape, noticed it caused drowsiness?
I was pleasantly surprised how cheap this was for 365 pills, for years i was buying generic Costco kirkland brands at a marked up price, at the time it was cheap for its cost on amazon for around 19.50$. and these were about half the price. for kirkland, the past 2 years i was buying it expired before i was finished the botle, although there was no effectiveness loss in other antihistamines past the date, i noticed for kirkland it loses effectiveness around winter time and when its about to expire, also loose effectiveness if your exposed to an allergen that causes acute allergic attacks, like sudden intense itching or sneezing. for years i was actually using this for my atopic dermatitis itching, as the itching often worsens over time and cause sores, it lessens it but it doesnt eliminate it. and its not intended for atopic dermatitis, since its usually not histamine related for the rashes or flareups, it works on the hives /sneezing though.drowsiness only occured for the kirkland brand if i take 20mg/day, for 10mg no drowsiness whatsoever.Tolerance does build up overtime like with other antihistamines, if you are taking this 7days/week , ceterizine will lose its effect. so i ended up rotating on a weekly basis, 6days/week to a different antihistamine to reduce dependance. ALso unreported that it does cause itching if you suddenly stop using it, after being on it for long periods of time.For timely ceterizne, what a great price, but after i took even 1 10mg pill which was a weird rectangle. i started feeling DROWSY throughout the day, at first i thought i was tired from not sleeping too much. but i just getting MILDLY sleepy, shouldnt even happen on such a low-dose, and some that have been taken it regurlarly should be tolerant to the side effects. but this pill makes you mildly drowys, as if its a higher than normal dose. also other unusual side effects it can cause dry mouth(if you are prone to it), and constipation(if you are prone to it). its still 4 stars because my previous experience with it is sitll positive, outweights the side effects.i must point out that atopic dermatitis, it does not entirely eliminate itching from allergies, because its more intensified in eczema sufferers, but reduces it. also noticed more pimple/dermatitis reaction for people with AD.

Great value! Just like the name brand
The pharmacy technician did me a favor when they didn’t refill my Cetirizine (Zyrtec) prescription “because you can buy it over the counter” ?!?! Yes, I was put off initially that he took it upon himself to make a decision for me, but then I came to Amazon for a replacement, and found the Timely brand of 10 mg Cetirizine with a whole year’s supply for $12! Works great, no drowsiness or any other side affects! My purpose in taking it is for hives as prescribed by the dermatologist and this daily dose addresses my issue. Hopefully this product can help others save money in trips to the drug store.

I don’t feel as though this works for me. I have increase in itchy nose and ears with extra watery eyes. This is the only medicine that has changed. I use Flonase generic, dry eye drops, and hydrocortisone, as well.

Are these “real” Zyrtec generics (Cetirizine) ? They are a rectangle shape and not the usual shape
I used to get 365 generic Zyrtec at CVS but they stopped stocking it in the large quantity. As a daily user, I liked the price of buying a year’s supply. I took a chance on these — and they seem to work fine. BUT, the pill shape is different, so it made me wonder if they are the real thing. “Dr Google” suggests that a company making generics can choose any shape or color for a pill. Hmmm…..

Sleeping pill
I didn’t notice much allergy relief, but it sure made me drowsy. 2-3 hrs after taking it I wanted to take a nap. In fact I did take a nap after lunch and was still tired. I went to bed early and slept 9 hrs and I feel great today, except for my allergies. I’ll keep it on hand in case I have trouble getting to sleep. 5 stars as a sleeping pill.
