My husband changes the oil in all our vehicles. It’s so much cheaper on Amazon than auto parts stores or even Sam’s Club. I do the Subscribe and Save and save a bit more. This oil is a higher grade oil so it’s good for your car. Recommend!

Great oil for Hemi
This is a great oil for any 5.7 Hemi. It has a very high Moly content which is what your 2009 and newer Eagle version Hemi‘s need since they are notorious for cam and lifter problems. I use this with a few ounces of Lubegard biotech to keep my hemi quiet.

Great UOA’s
5k OCI’s Ford Ecoboost Direct Injection with motorcraft filters. I have 40k on the truck no issues runs smooth and improved mpg compared to factory fill. Been using valvoline products 35 plus years in every vehicle I have owned with zero issues. Great job Valvoline with this extended protection. In my professional opinion in any Direct Injection engine you should never exceed 5k OCI’s due to fuel dilution and higher temps of turbo charged engines. A lot of manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule are pushing the limits. Go with what you know is proven, tried, and true.

Right price, shipped quickly! You need 6 quarts, exactly for the oil change on my vehicle. I purchased a quart along with it and saved the empty quart bottle. This way, I can buy more than 1 5qt bottle and fill the 1 quart bottle as needed.

Engine runs smoother and quieter with this oil
Update: after 4,000 miles engine oil looks and smells like new! Very impressed! See pictures2021 Toyota Tundra with 22k miles. Was changing oil at the dealer because it was free for two years. Since that’s now over I decided to do my own oil changes. Went with Valvoline extended performance because it was on sale for $28/5qts and it’s a reputable company. Engine is much smoother and quieter with this oil than whatever Toyota bulk oil was doing. So far I’m very pleased with how this oil seems to be performing .

Damaged from the factory
I love Valvoline, but mine definitely came in damaged, and leaking. You can see the pictures. I only got 4 1/2 quarts out of one of my jugs. Other than that no issues, but I wish I would’ve gotten my full 5 quarts.

Reliable, Easy Pour Motor Oil 🤷♂️
Almost every Motor Oil certified by the American Petroleum Institute are great oils. Valvoline is no different. Valvoline has been in the game for a long time so therefore, we have used Valvoline in the past and it’s been great! I love the EASY POUR and the jug seems decently constructed. You can see the oil marks in the back of the jug. Overall, for $24 after taxes, pretty good considering the inflation we’re going through and that it’s an “Extended Protection”IMPORTANT AUTO LESSON: Despite the claims of extended protection amongst pricer motor oils, consumers need to realize that the most important thing about engine longevity is to change your engine oil every 5,000 miles. Automotive manufactures and oil companies can claim you can be safe from 7,500mi, 10,000mi or even perhaps 20,000mi between oil change intervals.That alone is a bogus claim since, where I live in Los Angeles, stop and go traffic is insane. So no matter what, regardless of a vehicle’s make or model, I religiously change the motor oil every 5,000mi. Better to be safe then sorry. This motor oil cost around $24 after tax. A cheap oil filter can run $4. Definitely worth it to change your oil because, an engine replacement can be $10,000 nowadays.

No Seal to Punch Through 👍
I like that once you unscrew the top there is no seal to peel off or break through. No bits n pieces to get in the oil. 🫡 Came perfect no leaks or dents despite the delivery guy dropping it. It’s Valvoline one of the best oils for your car. Price was good.

Needed to order this online since the only convenient local place that sells one-quart bottles of oil for top-offs didn’t have my car’s needed type. Topped off with this and my car’s running smoothly. That’s all there is to it. Just be sure to match the oil already in your car if you top off like this; mixing different oil types is risky, and may lead to complications. Of course, a straight change is always preferable, and if your car is consuming oil (as mine is at the moment), then it’s best to diagnose the cause and fix it if you can.

Excellent Synthetic Motor Oil
I always change my oil and replace the filter at 5,000 miles. Even with rated 10,000 mile oil and rated 15,000 mile oil filter. Quality Oil and Filters are cheap. Engines are expensive.

Seems pretty legit and not a bad price
For a 2018 Honda Pilot. It’s Valvoline so I know it’s quality, but this particular type seems to be running engine temp slightly lower. (If I didn’t have watch engine temp like a hawk I wouldn’t have noticed) Now, I change oil every 3-5k so I won’t advise on going long term. Oil is cheap, motors aren’t….. Plan to run this until I hit 75k next year then run high mileage of it.

Quieted down my Toyota Tundra 5.7.
I use 5w-30 in my 2016 Tundra 5.7 over the factory recommended 0w-20. For years I’ve been using Pennzoil Platinum Ultra but lately it’s been getting harder to find and quite pricey especially when your engine takes 8qts. I did the research and found that This Valvoline EP is a close second in product testing so I ordered it. My experience in the last few thousand miles has been that it has quieted down my engine a lot more than Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30 did. With Pennzoil Platinum I still had a slight ticking in the valve train with this Valvoline EP that tick is gone. Both are fantastic oils but in this case for two reasons I’ll stick with Valvoline EP going forward over the Pennzoil Platinum, price and performance.

Don’t Bother With Others
We used the 0W16 Valvoline FS in our Toyota Camry LE with 38K miles on it and got 5 more mpg [50mpg+ at 65 mph on level highway] than with the Toyota oil and our engine ran so quiet – better than new – that we had to keep checking the tach at stop lights to see if the engine was still running. Expect the same with the 5W30 in our Pontiac. Don’t bother with other oils, even the “factory original” oils. They are inferior to Valvoline.

Valvoline Quality Motor Oil 0W-20
Great oil at a great price. This is the best Valvoline makes in 0w-20 for my application (2 Japanese brand crossovers). Very smooth and quiet running. Neither engine is turbo, but gdi’s. This oil keeps the valves cleaner from deposits. Turbos burn- out much faster than non-turbo engines. Pair this with an extended protection oil filter to get the most out of it. I do oil changes every 5 to 10 thousand miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Valvoline discontinued the Modern Engine line; replaced with EP line (basically same stuff). Both 0w-20 and 0w-16 weights are only available in synthetic oil products. I’ve used many different brands of motor oil over the years, and honestly don’t think there is anything better than Valvoline. For mainstream brands, each one has their proprietary formula or additive package, so each can vary somewhat; but timely service is just as important for engine longevity. Highly recommended.
