For minimal shredding and the price it’s ok
I bought this mostly to shred mail and papers with private information. It does the job but it gets tired quickly and will stop working after a few minutes of shredding. You then have to wait for it to cool down before you can shred more which takes a while. As far as the sheet capacity it will shred 10 sheets at a time but sometimes it definitely seems to struggle with it and a few times jammed up on me and one of those jams I couldn’t get all the paper out using the reverse feature that it has and ended up having to take it apart to get all the paper out. After doing that it was pretty difficult to get it lined up properly to put it back together again, but I finally managed after many attempts. Although it can sometimes shred 10 sheets without a problem I now usually will only do 5 or 6 at a time just not to risk it getting jammed again. The collection container for the shredded paper is quite small and needs to be emptied often. Just shredding a couple of days worth of mail I have to empty it at least two or three times before I’m finished. The little slot for credit cards does work pretty well and shreds the cards into small strips. I haven’t had any problems with that jamming or anything. For my purposes it’s an ok shredder. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone needing to shred large volumes of paper or anything related to business where there’s a lot to get rid of but for personal home use and small amounts of mail and stuff it does the job. For the price it performs pretty much how I expected it would and gets the job done.

I’m upgrading this review from a 1 Star to a 5 star because after seeing my first review, they contacted me and sent me another shredder to replace the broken one. I have received it and it works fine. My thanks to the company for standing behind their product.Old review:I bought this shredder for the purpose of destroying CDs. It started out fine the first time I used it, actually cut the CDs into small pieces. But then after a while, it only cut them up but not completely thru the id label. I stopped for a month and started to cut up more CDs and now it doesn’t do anything but pass the CDs thru the slot. No destruction at all. Totally worthless. I’m past the return day of course. It does still shred paper, but I have another shredder for that job, so this one is worthless to me. Would not buy or recommend this shredder.

Could have avoided a lot of aggravation by buying this shredder first.
Bought it to replace a much more expensive and bulky one that jammed frequently and had a twitchy on/off switch. This works better, is lighter and more compact. Easy to empty and perfect for home office use. Great purchase at an amazing price.

I received this shredder promptly and set up was easy. I have used the shredder lightly to shred paper. I have not yet used the CDA or Credit card shredding functions, but I expect they will both be fine. This shredder is similar to many I have used over the years and should last for years with proper use and care.I purchased this extra shredder for convenance and to work more efficiently.The sound level is normal or a little lower for a paper shredder. It is not jarring or disruptive.

Nice shredder
Shredder works really well. I especially like the credit card/CD slot. It’s a little smaller than my old one and it only takes 2 minutes to fill the basket. So I don’t think I’ll have to worry about running it more than 5 minutes and over heating it. For my personal use I think it will be just fine. Quiet when running.

Durability and performance
I can’t begin to tell you the amount of paper shredders that I have bought through Amazon that have not performed, locked up, or just been poor performance web shredders. So far this one is doing the job, runs very quietly and you can even run a credit card through the CD slot with no issues. Hopefully I have found the one to meet my needs but time will tell so we’ll just wait and see what happens with it and hope for the best

Shredder
It works well, but it can not take 10 sheets of paper at a time. Stick to 7 or less to make sure it will work properly. I just tried 10 sheets for this review and I stopped it because it was struggling too much. I think it was overheated because I wouldn’t turn back on. I pulled the papers out and after a minute or two it started working. It shreds credit cards with ease. It is slightly noisy but doesn’t bother me.

It’s not wimpy!
I have had shredders that just did not do the job, got all moody when you put in more than two sheets of paper at a time, made you eventually think that you do like you did in grade school and just tear it in 1 million pieces. That’s not the case with this one, it really likes to shred. And So do I.

May be good for small batches!
My first use got jammed so bad it took e. Two days to clear, trying various tools, finally very thin scissors and thin dinner knife worked best. Also need to know that you should check amount of filling, too much causes a jam. As I am trying to get rid of several years of documents, I have to use (less than the five minutes) until the window level is reached. As I am using a plastic bag, I push the shredded documents down and can shred some more! Each time I finish, I do what they say, reverse, but I end up pulling out any loose pieces on both the bottom and top of the shredder. I believe if this would be used weekly for weekly items, it would be fine!

Worked for a month
Update: after leaving this review, they contacted me to send me a new one and as of today, they finally replied to my original email. So, I got the replacement and it seems to work fine, but I’m not sure what my best advice is if it breaks. Four stars for replacing the product and it arriving quickly.I’ve emailed Woolsche twice now about this item. I bought it at the end of January and it’s completely dead as of the beginning of May after I didn’t use it for about two months. Initially, it was a great shredder and seemed sturdier than the previous one I was replacing. Only three settings on the slider: auto, off, and reverse. This would be fine if reverse didn’t shove little paper bits into the plastic housing, requiring that I completely disassemble the shredder to see if I can clear the sensor to run it at all (which is honestly more work than I want to deal with for this product).I would’ve given this a higher review if there was any support by the company, but the complete ghosting by Woolsche for a product that I’ve had less than 4 months by the time it kicked the bucket has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t recommend this shredder or Woolsche thanks to this and would’ve accepted my fate if they didn’t list that they’ll help you right away with their email listed on the top of the shredder. Glad the other reviewer got a quick response, but at this point, it seems more needed to warn other consumers that they’ll be shredding their money with this garbage product.

Works Great
Works well, solidly built. The container could be larger. It’s more of a 6 sheet capacity in my experience. Much quieter than the old Amazon Basic shredder. Only thing it’s missing is an extender so you can use it on top of a larger container.
