Awesome cost effective option
I buy generic whenever possible. This works so well. My toddler’s allergies were so severe this Spring that his pediatrician told me to give him generic allergy medicine. He absolutely hated this because he needed to take awful reflux medications as a baby, and he doesn’t have fond memories of medicine. But my older kids have taken this and love the flavor. It works well. I mixed it in a sip of juice for my little guy, and then he thought it was a treat and drank it.

Good for some things
This was a fantastic value and actually worked. I found out my toddler had hay fever this spring and tried out local CVS brand medicine. It did nothing for my girls itchy goopy eyes, cough, and runny nose. This medicine cleared my daughter of the itchy eyes and cough. It did nothing for her nose at all. We switched over to a different name brand medicine and it takes care of all 3 symptoms. This was still a good find especially for the price as I could not STAND seeing my daughter suffer especially with itchy goopy eyes. If your child has less severe symptoms this may work all together for you. I would say give it a try. If it doesn’t work, at least you won’t be out of a huge chunk of change. Also my daughter never had a problem with the taste she actually kept asking for it. But I also have not had any issues with her taking medicine before.

Good price, good flavor, breathing easy
My children prefer the flavor of the Amazon and Walgreens version of Cetirizine Hydrochloride over the CVS and Walmart (equate) versions and we do not pay for the name brand. We have not noticed any difference ineffectiveness while switching and will continue to purchase the amazon brand from now on.

Great value
My 21 month son has been taking this for months on a daily basis due to his eczema and itchiness. We started with Walgreens brand but those bottles are small and even though they are generic, still adds up. The value for this size bottle is great! With the amount we go through it’s great to just order it when I need it and keep a few extra on hand. My kid loves the grape flavor and sucks it out of the syringe. I will say, I wish I came with it’s own syringeRather than just the measure cup but we have plenty from our Tylenol in the past.

Twice as much product at excellent price
Highly recommend. Usually get the same one from Walmart, it’s cheaper. My daughter is very picky about flavors and after finding the Amazon version, it’s like twice as much in the bottle for maybe about a dollar more than Walmart. (At least what I have been paying). Will continue to buy the Amazon brand and no complaints from my daughter!!

Daughter approved
My daughter developed some seasonal allergy this year for the first time. She was miserable- sneezing, nasal congestion, coughing from post nasal drip, itchy eyes, everything you can think of.She loves the taste and swears that this works best over Benadryl and Claritin.Thank goodness the allergy season is over now, but we will definitely buy it again when it hits her!

Flavor is a favorite, so it’s very easy to administer. Huge plus.Seems to work well for cough and runny nose.Only concern is that relief doesn’t seem to quite last as long as they advertise but lasts for good 8 hours at least, so decent enough.

As Great as Brand Zyrtec
My son and I both live off of Zyrtec and the Amazon generic brand is absolutely just as good as the name brand. I’ve been taking Zyrtec since before it was an OTC medication and all generics I’ve tried have worked equally well. Amazon brand is the cheapest I’ve found and the coupons that are occasionally available (X% off of $X of certain items) are great for stocking up. I’ll buy this until they no longer sell it, haha
