I can breathe again
So, for some reason Walmart keeps running out of their own brand of nasal spray. So I am now going to just order it from Amazon where it’s slightly more money but higher quality nasal sprayP.S. This product contains phenylephrine which can test positive for methamphetamine on a drug test in case you wanted to know.

It burns a lot
I used it before going to bed. It is a torture to use it as it burns everything it touches inside. In general it worked for about 4-6 hours, no longer. I would not buy it again.

Better than oxymetazoline (Afrin)
Oxymetazoline is a steroid with more side effects, including wait gain.When taken orally, phenylephrine is almost completely useless because it is quickly broken down by the body before it is absorbed. But when applied topically via nasal spray, it works like a charm.This is more effective and in my opinion less habit forming.If you don’t like nasal sprays, then you’re better off driving to the pharmacy and getting pseudoephedrine. You need to get it from behind the counter and show your ID, but it’s very effective.As always, do your own research before you start using any pharmaceutical.You can’t beat the price on this decongestant!

Awesome Generic Version of 4-Way Nasal Spray
I can’t seem to find 4-Way in stores much anymore so I turned to Amazon. Absolutely love this! Works exactly the same as the brand, and IMO phenylephrine nasal spray is superior to oxymetazoline. It doesn’t last as long, but the relief is faster and effects are stronger.

Seems to work pretty well
I have not researched this to see if it’s a good substitute for Afrin (which you don’t want to use for long as it’s addictive and pretty hard on nasal passages) but it does work quite well for allergies. I have not tested it on a tough stuffed nose from a cold virus yet.It doesn’t have the 12 hr effect that Afrin has but it doesn’t claim that. I wish it had a pump rather than just squeezing the bottle. That’s the only downside and hence 4 stars instead of 5. If it had a pump, it’d be pretty perfect.

If you are desperate, this nasal spray will suffice.
I have been using nasal spray nearly every day for about forty years. The formulations and brands come and go. I consider myself a connoisseur at this point. Addicted? No, stopping is easy and an ENT informed me there is no long-term side affects. I can breath. That’s all that matters to me.I was essentially forced into purchasing the overpriced Amazon brand nasal spray as all surrounding brick and mortars have been sold out of everything for months. The sprayer is small but heavy duty. The taste is not so good. Bouquet might be a better word than taste. The stated ounces feel less than and I went through the bottle much too quickly. This implies the sprayer is administering a larger than necessary amount. I hesitate to use the word dosage. If you need nasal spray, this will get you through until you can get to your regular brand. The over-priced spray at 7-Eleven is just as effective. [sniff…..sniff]

Good value
I am glad Amazon carries these Phenylephrine sprays at a good price. My local Walgreens stores, several of them stop carrying their Phenylephrine sprays and they only seem to carry Oxymetazoline sprays from different brand names. But the four-hour Phenylephrine sprays are what I really wanted as I use them just before wearing my CPAP mask to decongest my nasal passages before putting on the sleep mask to sleep. If only my insurance worked with Amazon, it would have been perfect. But at least the price is good for paying out of pocket.

After a couple of months’ use I developed SECONDARY HYPERTENSION -high blood pressure – that landed me in the hospital for 4 days, where I was treated with diuretics to relieve me of excess body fluid. Closes my nostrils after 4 hours.
As a product, this company did the best possible! As a chemical, I thought this molecule was supposed to do our nasal wonders, but now I know it is barely effective in the long run.The worst part is that I now understand that this phenylephrine molecule actually closes up my nasal after it’s effects wear off. This is disturbing but good to know that taking the cold medicine with this in it was causing a bigger problem than it was solving, due to having to take more every 4 hours.I purchased this product to understand how just this molecule works for me. And it fulfilled that purpose for me. I now know that I should never take this product as it becomes required to take just to remove its negative/reverse effect. This is the way the word addiction was supposed to be meant, that you have to take the product again just to alleviate its own negative symptoms.So ya… right after taking this my nasal seems to open up, but after 4 hours my nasal closes up tighter than previous, which used to force me to think I needed more of it. Although I had my suspicions, this nasal product helped me figure this out, so now I no longer will take the Cold & Flu product in the store to help me breath.The nasal spray that works better for me has the molecule Oxymetazoline HCI in it, and is menthol flavored, which really helps and lasts for 12 hours instead of 4.

It works, but why the price change?
Back in March I purchased one for $4.71, then in April another for $7.56, and now, less than a month later, they’re more than $10 per ounce!This product works easily as well as the name brand, but as of now (May 20, 2024) the price is getting very near that of the store brands at Walmart and Safeway.

Afrin dupe
I love this product. I get severe allergies and stuffy nose at night to where I can’t breathe. One squirt per nostril and boom amazing. I used to use Afrin but it’s become so expensive and started making my nose bleed. This one is much better price, quality & no nose bleeds.

Cheaper than 4 way by far!
I have used 4 way nasal spray for many years due to seasonal allergies. The price just keeps increasing but then I now can no longer find 4 way at my pharmacy. I found these on Amazon and saw it had the same ingredients as 4 way & thought I’ll give them a try. And you can’t beat the price…. It’s 5 times less than 4 way & works just fine. Thank you Amazon!

Fairly Effective & Lower Rebound Effects
The Phenylephrine formula is reasonably effective, although I would say that Oxymetazoline (Afrin and equivalent generics) does a better job overall. However, I am inclined to say that there is a lower chance of side effects with Phenylephrine. Thus far I have not experienced any lingering relapse effects, and I attribute this to the fact that it’s only a four-hour treatment compared to twelve with Oxymetazoline. Keep in mind that this observation could simply be a placebo effect, yet I’m not so sure that it is.

Cheap, but worked better than other nasal sprays. It feels fairly cold when used.Be sure to keep tissues nearby when using, the spray may drip out if too much is applied.
