EDIT AGAIN:They did it again. Another star off.EDIT:The value in these was the price. As they’re creeping up the price, the value ceases to exist. I’m probably going to head back to GoodSense at this rate.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I normally purchase the GoodSense nicotine mini lozenges. I saw these and decided to give them a try, even though they were about 3 dollars more than GoodSense.When they arrived I quickly popped a tube out of the box and checked it out. I realized these were the exact same as the GoodSense product, and both are distributed by the same company (Perrigo, Allergan). Same tube. Same info. Same everything. The lozenges even taste them same. Only the label looks different.At first I thought it was a ridiculous purchase, because why would I pay $3.00 more for an identical product?Then I looked in the box again.The GoodSense boxes contain three tubes. These Basic Care lozenges contain five tubes. I double checked the contents of the tubes: all the tubes contain 27 lozenges.That’s two extra tubes for only 3 extra dollars. That’s a HUGE savings.I’m almost afraid to post this review for fear they’ll raise the price!!!Like many ex-smokers, I’m a long-term alternative nicotine user. It’s an expensive habit but significantly preferable to smoking (and less offensive to those around me!). I’ve found my new product!

Amazed lozenges worked for me, but happy to share that they did.
Over 3 weeks smoke and vape free! I’m surprised how well these worked for me TBH.I tried quitting several, countless, times cold turkey and couldn’t make it over the first 24 hours. My nicotine addiction was very strong, but After using the Lozenges to get me ‘over the hump’, I’m weaning of them and it looks like one box is all I will need. — I used about 4-5 a day instead of the recommended 9, and now only use them as absolutely needed. I tried not to consider them nicotine replacement, but a tool to reduce the physical cravings as a make the behavioral changes.It certainly did not making quitting smoking easy, but it made it possible for me. Have a plan, stick with it, lean on lozenges to get through the early cravings.

Help take the edge off
I got a really bad flu in February that made it impossible for me to continue vaping. I had quite regular cigs and started vaping about 5 years ago, but had already developed COPD. I knew while I was recovering from the flu/COPD flare that I could not return to either smoking or vaping, and but would need some kind of nicotine replacement to get me over the hump. Had used patches and gum in the past as well as lozenges. Those lozenges always gave me hiccups, and was hesitant to try the lozenges again, but these seem to work well, without causing hiccups. I’m still using daily, but do cut in half, and use when I get really strong urges. The flavor is ok, not great but better than the mint I tried in the past. I think I was more motivated to stay off the inhaled method of getting my nic “fix” and these are doing the job. Haven’t vaped since 2/6 of this year. Thanks for helping me stick to my goal.

A Very Tasty Way To Stop Smoking Forever In My 30 Years of Heavy Smoking
An excellent product. Here, I smoked cigarettes, then transitioned to cigars during the late 90’s cigar aficionado era, then back to more cigarettes about ten years ago. That’s about 30 years of smoking. Well, the roomie noticed my lungs getting weaker, he doesn’t want to lose his close friend, so in order to wean we away from smoking, he started buying me nicotine gum, the small 4 mg. pills, then the brand cherry, cinnamon, and mint lozenges. Since I am on a budget, I gave in a gave them all a try. I found the Cherry Flavor to be the most enjoyable. Problem was, the prices and size of the tablets continued to drop after a time, so I decided to look for another source, and viola! -there they were on Amazon, AND for a great price for buying the larger quantity box. Couldn’t be happier. They are now a staple product for me. I love this brand AND will buy these repeatedly. My lungs healed up after quitting, and although I’m not perfect, I’m far healthier for having used this product to quit in 2020-2021. -Very Highly Recommended For Those Who Really Want Something That Actually Works Well. -Recommended. A++++

Strange texture
I ordered these expecting more of a hard-candy like lozenge, but they are much more similar to a tylenol pill. It’s basically exactly like taking a powder pill and letting it dissolve in your mouth; not very pleasant. The nicotine seems to be pretty effective, but I seem to get sick from these lozenges more often than from the gum. I can only imagine it’s due to the strange texture. I wont be purchasing these again, their gum seems like a better alternative.
