Packaging is excessive
These are great…. except for the packaging. I’m addition to each one have cardboard you need to pull out, they are all individually shrink wrapped, done before the metal clip was added so it’s impossible to get all of the plastic and to get off the majority is time consuming (I have a total of five packs to use in my classroom). This seems to be an excessive waste of plastic as well.

Colors
I received the following colors in my order: Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Pink, and Purple (or pink and light pink). Would have given them at least 4 stars if the colors were as advertised (orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, and light pink) as it is hard to distinguish the color spectrum on orange, red, and pink when together. They’re about standard for other clipboards I have of the same transparent plastic construction. They come individually shrink wrapped.

AmazonBasics does it again. I was looking for a clipboard, went to local stores and either the designs were lacking or the quality was just meh. Found these on Amazon, took a easy chance. For the price of 1 or 2 clipboards, I was able to get 6 colorful and sturdy clipboards. Not one defect or scratch on any of these. Cheap Product – Bad Packaging
The packaging was the most frustrating that I’ve seen in a while. The plastic board was wrapped in plastic and THEN the metal clip was put on top. Meaning that there was plastic trapped underneath the metal clip so it took twice as long to unwrap each clipboard as I tried to pry out the plastic (which, of course) ripped horribly. The clipboards themselves look cute – I like the colors. They are really cheap and I doubt they’ll last very long. Next time, I will purchase elsewhere to get more durable clipboards.

Amazon could have done better
The colors I did get were awesome, however, I did not get one of each color as shown in the picture. I exchanged and got 2 orange again. I was using them for something that requires color coordinating and so I’m going to have to send them back. They also scratch extremely easily. After just using one for a day, it was completely covered. It’s still usable but I have a feeling they’re gonna be pretty trashed very quickly. The other annoying flower which a few people have commented on is that they shrink wrap the plastic underneath the metal clip. It’s really hard to get the wrapping off, and even when you do, there’s a little pieces of plastic left stuck.

One annoying flaw
Overall a good product. A bit thinner and lighter weight than I expected. There is one flaw that I find very irritating. The plastic that they are shrink wrapped in gets stuck under the clip. If you are type A like me, this will drive you crazy.

Quality control…
I am on the fence about this rating. On the one hand, they seem sturdy, they are a great deal for the price, I love the colors and they are very useful. On the other hand… whoever built them shrink wrapped the board with lumpy cellophane and THEN bolted the clip part to the board, so no matter how hard you try, you have these wispy trails of cellophane peeking out from under the clip and under your paper, under the back. It varies from a bit ugly in the back, to downright annoying when you are trying to write. The three that we needed, I spent a VERY long time getting *most* of the cellophane out of the way so it only occasionally catches. Would my cheap self buy these again? Probably, but I would complain the entire time. Just cellophane wrap them AFTER you install the clip!!!

These Clipboards are Awesome!
These Clipboards are Awesome. I bought these for my kids that love to draw and color. With the clipboards I can give them one paper at a time so they don’t waste paper. My kids love the colors and it makes it easier to tell which belongs to which kid. Yes there is a plastic film covering the boards to protect them during shipping and it peels off easily except near the clip, but it just takes a bit to get the little bits off. It also has a nice slide out key hole to hang the boards on the wall. I removed this on the board for you youngest and it came off easily with a screwdriver. Since there were so many I am using one in the kitchen and once in the garage for my car projects. Overall I am very happy with these and will be showing them to my kids teacher and if she needs them will order more.

One of six was damaged on arrival
I bought the 6 pack plastic clipboards. One of them was chipped and cracked put out of the box. It may have been a result of too much pressured applied on the box during transit. The way they are stacked, the metal part of another clipboard poked a little too hard on the plastic and cracked it. Given how brittle this thing is, I don’t expect it to last long with kids’ abusive use. The colors are vibrant and the kids like them a lot.

I bought these for homeschooling. They work great and fun colors that my kid loves. Only issue I can see is that some of them don’t lay perfectly flat. This isn’t an issue for us, especially considering the cost.

Won’t last long with regular use
These are good to start or in a pinch but they are a thin, brittle plastic. The clip seems to be strong, but that’s not much help when you need to write on the board without a table or other support

Odd Decision Made in Packaging
Not sure why these would be shrink wrapped these before riveting the clip on. Makes for a messy look. Impossible to get all the stretch wrap off. Really really odd decision. They’ll work but I will not be purchasing these again

THIN…but colors cool
Mine came in translucent pastel colors which are cool but THEY ARE THIN. I tend to pick them up at the bottom and all have cracked at the bottom. I’m not using a lot of paper under the clip so not much weight, and have not been “manhandling” them but they aren’t very durable. I reinforced the bottoms on the back with packing tape and continue to use them (they are cute!) but IMHO not up to the usual Amazon Basics standards. Thanks.

Great for organizing different projects
These clipboards came in a delightful assortment of colors and are great for helping me organize my different projects. The only downside, as others have mentioned, is the difficulty in removing the plastic wrap – but that’s not enough of an issue for me to downgrade the star rating. I’m very happy with these for my intended purpose!

Great for school, business and coaching.
I had to buy a clipboard for the upcoming school year so my daughter can do some of her classes outdoors. She loved that she was able to choose the color she gets to take to school and I love how it’s bundled so if she does break it (she’s in 1st grade so anything is possible) I will automatically have more at home. I’m also going to school and like having one for myself I work on while I take notes.

Durable
I used these during my Anatomy and Physiology cadaver class. I was grossed out my the wood ones we were provided that had gross wet marks all over them. These held up to an entire semester of wiping down with purple Sani Wipes and some abuse. I threw them out after the semester because, well…..sanitation purposes but I will definitely buy them again if I ever need clipboards for something else.

Terrible Packaging!!!!
Purchased these clipboards because I needed just a few clipboards and other packs offered had 25+. They are sturdy and hold papers well, however a major downside is the packaging. All the clipboards came shrink wrapped in plastic that was secured beneath the clipping mechanism on the board. It was extremely hard to remove to the point that I gave up and left some plastic wrapping pieces behind because I could not get them off. If each clipboard needs to be wrapped maybe try wrapping the entire clipboard with the clip part included so no plastic is caught underneath.

Color coded for different subjects
The product was once again delivered to the wrong Apt., so I printed out the picture taken by the driver and placed it in their mailbox yesterday morning. It was outside yesterday afternoon. I have very specific delivery instructions, but I still get a lot of my products from the wrong houses and Apts. Frustrating. The clipboards are however what I paid for. Very light plastic, the color coding allows me to place different subject matter in each one, such as Safety, Protective Equip., Spill Plans, and Emergency plans that must be posted inside of my Laboratory. Very useful.

Flimsier than the competing plastic clipboard
These were a replacement of another neon plastic clipboard. Out of the box I noticed they were lighter, thinner and flimsier than the other one. These weighed 15g lighter than the previous, and 0.2 mm thinner.It doesn’t sound like much, but you can feel the flimsiness in your hand.

The clipboards are great. Sturdy. Strong spring on the clip. The plastic wrap is annoying and totally unnecessary. I docked them a star for that. You will not remove all of the plastic wrap as it was applied before the clip mechanism was attached.

Handy colorful clip boards however…
Kids love these colorful clip boards, the clip is very sturdy. However, during assembly the clip was attached to the board through the plastic wrap, kind of annoying as now there are little bits of plastic trapped under the clip that you can’t get off completely.

A good basic clip board
They work well for what I use them for. The tab and hole for hanging them is very small, so just be aware of your plan it so hang them up. I also wish that the yellow was a bit more yellow, less orange. The pack also seemed to have 2 that are about the same color, the red. Other than these minor issues, they work well, are light weight, and I like the way the clip doesn’t stick up very far off of the board.

Overall great product
This is the second time we purchased these. Some of our first set got lost over the years. The colors are bright and fun, they’re pretty flat (easier to store on a shelf), and the clip holds the papers well. My only complaints are that: 1. They come individually shrink wrapped, and they add the metal parts AFTER shrink wrapping, so pieces of the plastic are stuck underneath the metal. Drives me nuts! 2. They do get scratched up. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but worth mentioning.

Fully adequate for the price, Colorful and nice for different subjects.
Others complained about removing the plastic, especially around where it clipped, and that being a great difficulty. I used my not favorite tweezers and found this removed it rather easily. It clips very nicely and the colors make for a nice distraction of putting different subjects and projects into different clipboards. Absolutely no regrets. Would buy again.

Happy with my purchase
I found the colors to be nice, they hold up well even after multiple drops and the price is decent. I loved how they were wrapped in plastic very well to prevent scratches.My only critique is the metal piece that allows you to place this on a wall (not sure the name of the piece). i found it to be a bit flimsy but it’s such a small issue and is more of something I personally found I didn’t like.

Nice inexpensive set
I was needing some clipboards for at home and at work, but didn’t want to spend too much on them. They seem relatively sturdy, are brightly colored, and the clip holds papers securely. Since they’re plastic rather than wood, if you get marker or something on them, they’re easy to clean.I will note that the plastic wrap is a bit odd. Each clipboard is individually wrapped, but the plastic wrap is UNDER the metal bar with the clip, so I can’t get it completely off… I got it far enough off that it’s not in the way or particularly bothersome, so it’s not a big deal to me, but like I said, I just find it a bit odd.
