Teeth feel cleaner
My husband and I use this toothpaste now. We really like the cleaner feeling we get compared to other toothpastes. My only issue is that we go through the tube fast. We would like a larger tube. I also appreciate the flat lid to stand the tube as well as easy to open with sore, arthritic hands.

Hopefully reducing plaque
This toothpaste is great for my sensitive teeth. Hopefully it will help with plaque removal and brightening also. Cleans very well and is strong enough to reduce the yellow color without damaging the teeth and the skin in the mouth. Will definitely buy again!

Hate the lid!!!!!
Let me start by saying that I love this toothpaste! I’m in braces right now and fighting plaque becomes a real issue. The lid on this toothpaste though creates such a mess every time you open it. I’ve been purchasing this on repeat for several months now, but I’m thinking of changing. Not sure why they chose this big, gaudy style of lid!

Another Great Toothpaste from Col
Seems every time I purchase Colgate toothpaste they change the formula and in new packaging. This is a great toothpaste and and seems to take care of tartar if you stay on top of it. Teeth feel clean and polished. I like the flavor of the last version better (deep clean or something like that) but is good nonetheless. No doubt Plaque Pro will morph into something else in a few months.After 4 mo. use I can honestly say I have less calculus buildup on the backs of my bottom front teeth. The slow buildup between cleanings gets so severe I lose definition of tooth separation (feeling with my tongue). Seems my mouth chemistry causes plaque to quickly harden into calculus. Fronts and backs of teeth feel great after using Pro Release – like no other toothpaste used! Used with Sonicare brush and Hayden expanding floss.

Permanent retainer plaque game changer!!!
I’m a GenXer who still has a lower permanent retainer along my bottom teeth. It is very difficult to keep the plague build up there under control and I dreaded going to the dentist for my cleanings because the amount of scraping along the metal bar was really horrible. I floss and brush often and have good oral hygiene but I have “good saliva production” which means when I sleep it is causing build up. I decided to try this because it said it was specifically for plaque build up. I cannot even believe the difference and neither can the dental hygienest. I barely have any build up at all now between cleanings along the bar and my other teeth are also WAY cleaner. I am so happy that I found this product because I was considering having the bar removed because of the plaque. But my older brother did that and all his teeth shifted within a few months. This has resolved the issue and all of my teeth are so much cleaner. It leaves them feeling squeaky clean like how I feel when I leave the dentists office– only every day and night after brushing. I love this toothpaste!!!

With the way, my teeth are set up. I accumulate a lot of plaque, especially on my bottom teeth so getting his toothpaste I was able to alleviate a lot of black in my mouth and make my mouth healthier overall. This is the best toothpaste and the only toothpaste I will be using from now on.

Very clean teeth!
Last year, my dentist noticed some hard plaque buildup. I’m over 30, already floss daily, and use a sonic toothbrush twice a day. I struggle with a lot of toothpastes because they’re too foamy or minty and irritate the inside of my mouth, but this doesn’t bother me and it makes my teeth feel really clean! I only use it at night. My dentist noticed no plaque buildup during my cleaning this month, so I will continue using it nightly.

Sensitive to an ingredient
I’ve tried this toothpaste several times. It makes my teeth feel very clean, and I think it is very good at whitening. My problem is that I’m now sure I am allergic or extremely sensitive to one or more of the ingredients. Every time, after using it for about a week, my teeth become sensitive and the gums are irritated after brushing, and even further after drinking or eating. I end up in a bad cycle, brushing to make my mouth feel better, but it just gets more irritated and uncomfortable. This is obviously not something that happens to everyone and it doesn’t make the toothpaste bad, but I wanted to add this incase it can be of help to others that may experience similar.I find that I do better with Crest Gum Restore – oddly enough, not Gum Detoxify, so the latter may have similar ingredients to this one.

I’m a happy dental patient!!
I am one of the unfortunate souls who needs this product. Not because of the product use, I am thankful to have this product. No, it’s because of the suffering which I have had to endure every 6 months to get this crud uncomfortably removed from my teeth. Now first I have to tell you that the instructions say to use a one inch strip which I did but the flavor was very hard to tolerate. So I started using just a pea size and that has worked just fine. I started using it midway between dental visits , expecting to see this stuff disappear from my teeth, it did not, in fact, I couldn’t see any difference at all. My dentist, before using that cursed device on me told me that it didn’t matter which toothpaste I used, that they were all about the same though she had never heard of this stuff. In this visit I only got a glimmer of hope in that after she finished the job she said that my plaque came off my teeth pretty easy. So since I now had clean teeth I decided to use it some more as it should keep the plaque from forming, right ? Well it did not appear to me to be doing that. The build up in front came back after a few weeks and looked that same over time as it always did, but I decided to keep using it until my most recent visit just to make sure if it would work on me or not because I really wanted it to.. I really didn’t have any hope. To my pleasant surprise, my technician told me she could see very little plaque on my teeth at all accept in the front and it came off very easy. The entire procedure was much much more comfortable than before!!! She said that the front teeth buildup is where the majority of it forms. And so think about it. Not only did this product make these torturous visits much more comfortable but the lack of plaque also means less gum and bone damage!!! Thank you Colgate for making this product, sorry I ever doubted you. I bought 2 tubes today so I will always have extras on hand and I will be getting up a subscription to keep them coming!

Teeth are cleaner and brighter
I’ve tried various toothpastes and this one is definitely the best one so far. The paste isn’t overwhelming but it makes your mouth feel very minty and clean. A little goes a long way since it foams up really nicely to get all areas inside your mouth. I also love that it saves space with the standing cap.

Hands down the best
This is like a magical toothpaste. I’m a mouth breather and plaque hardens behind my bottom teeth and along the gum line in the teeth in the front of my bottom jaw.After my last dental visit, I tried this. It’s been 6 months and I just went for my checkup an dmy dentist asked if I’ve been using like a dental pick/water pick, if I’ve been scrapping my own teeth, flossing…I was like nope. Just been brushing twice a day w this. He only scraped like once or twice and that was it. My teeth are white and no plaque. I will continue to buy this.

Great Toothpaste
I have a gap between my two front bottom teeth and since everything naturally settle between your bottom lip and teeth, plaque forms there more quickly and regularly on/between those teeth and other bottom teeth. I love this toothpaste because it makes my mouth feel really clean and I don’t see or feel any plaque forming between that bottom gap or other bottom teeth. It’s not all that great for whitening, so I will be trying another brand for whitening, but will continue to use this at least once or twice a week help prevent plaque formation.

Refreshing and works well
As someone with a long history of complicated dental issues, I’ve become very particular about my dental products. When my hygienist told me that I needed to work at getting plaque away from my guns, I looked for a product to help with that and found this toothpaste. I’ve always liked Colgate, but this is an especially excellent toothpaste. It works very well, cleaning my teeth and gums thoroughly and leaving my whole mouth feeling great for hours, even after having my morning coffee.The mint flavor is strong but not overwhelming and fades in a reasonable amount of time. I would not eat or drink immediately after brushing, but you only need to wait a few minutes, not ages. The texture of the paste is smooth on the brush and friths with brushing to a solid foam that covers everything you want to clean. My teeth felt CLEAN the first time I used it and after regular use my mouth definitely feels cleaner than before, even after a night of sleeping open mouthed (thanks, allergies). My teeth are whiter, too.It’s worth taking the time to find the toothpaste that works best for you. If you are also concerned about plaque and keeping your gums healthy, I definitely recommend this toothpaste!

This is like the BEST toothpaste I have ever used. It doesn’t have an overbearing mint taste that makes me gag, and my teeth have never looked whiter. This is the answer to my oral health problems. My teeth and mouth have honestly never felt cleaner nor looked whiter. I love this stuff. Please keep making the toothpaste like this, don’t ever change the formula Colgate! You got yourself a keeper here. I will continue to order this toothpaste as long as the formula remains the same and the mint flavor is kept out! I hate hate HATE mint flavored toothpaste because it makes brushing my teeth a terrible ordeal, but with this one, I actually enjoy brushing my teeth and look forward to it.I’m editing to add that it does a have a mint flavor, but it’s very slight that it doesn’t overpower. I should have been more specific in my first review, but yes, this is good stuff regardless.

Works wonders for after brace removal
I bought this for my wife who got her braces taken off and have yellow marks and different colors and weird looking squares on her teeth where the braces used to be, we tried charcoal toothpaste but it didn’t seem to be doing much so we bought this and the performance is really great! It’s not instant but over time it’s been removing all of the horrible plaque stuff that has been left on from having those braces on for 2 years time! With that said I guarantee this is going to work very well for basic Dental plaque removal and cleaning up dirty teeth in general!

Works kind of well, is kind of goopy, my dentist was not impressed
If you’re reading this you’re probably like me and try the latest toothpaste to protect your teeth and keep down your dental bills. I actually found this okay except that it is a little goopy, tastes a little funny, and yet I used it for a while before going to the dentist.I gleefully told him that I was using it thinking he would be happy and he would see better results on my teeth, but either he was having a bad day or just didn’t care because he didn’t have much to say about it other than make sure it has fluoride.

Allergy Caution
Just ran out of my other toothpaste and got to try this purchase. It cautions you to scrub carefully to prevent staining. It seemed to feel alright on my teeth but I immediately had an allergic reaction. Cracking at the sides of the lips, dry lips, irritated and itchy skin around the mouth, etc, despite efforts to keep exposure of the product to anything other than teeth through careful brushing to a minimum. Never experienced this with other products or in the mouth area from other allergies. Please remember to do a minor allergy test on a small patch of skin for new products regardless of who recommended it. Lowered rating for lack of description for “flavor” ingredient on their site.
