After some use – a disappointment. Poor functional design.
Liked the concept at first. But major misses. First, the fingerprint reader is not consistent. Second, the combination digits have no tactile feel, nor do they light up until you touch a number directly. So at night, if you miss the first number on a combination you have to enter a string, get a warning, and then start again. The app is ok, but with the update it reset some parameters and needed the key to open the safe. Bottom line, this is not ideal for nighttime, bedside use if easy opening is desired. Finally, the Temp and Humidity indicators stopped working.

Feeling safe
Bought this a s a gift for my husband. He loves it so far, opens with a push of his thumb and only his thumb, nice and smooth opening, displays time, temp and humidity. I am sure there is more that it can do and I just don’t know yet. It’s nice to have the feeling of safety at my husband’s side.

Solid Product
The media could not be loaded.
Vaultek has offered awesome product since the beginning. But at first when I saw the smart station I was skeptical about it. Until I purchased it. Its advertisement does no justice. There are so many options featured with the safe. Sound or no sound, lights or no lights. Plenty room within the drawer also. Opens swift for immediate entry and it’s quiet. Overall I would recommend buying the smart station because just as Vaulteks other products this is definitely a solid product.

The Best Out There!
Safe is very well built and easy to use. Came well packaged – setup was easy, had no issues setting the combination or fingerprints. Only thing I’ll say is the button you have to push to set the combo and fingerprints is inside and underneath and you have to sort of feel around to find it, but not bad once you know where it is. I’ll be buying the MXi as well based on how well built this is.

Well built safe
This safe is the best. Following the instructions for the fingerprinting was easy. Registered the same print three times and it works every time. (Wait on it )The IPhone charger works every time and with the extra USB my watch charger is part of the system. Holds My Sig 365 XL with Holosun optics and two 17 r clips with some extra room. Clock will sets the correct time when the phone is placed on the charger space or with the great app. Love this safe can’t recommend it more. Good Job VAULTEK worth every penny.

The finger scanner sucks
Overall build of this thing is nice but the biometric sensor does not work. at best i can unlock the safe in 2 tries but on average it takes like 5 tries. i thought i could get away with using the buttons but there is no tactile feedback so i always mess up and have to do it again slowly and carefully.also the charging pad sucks. you have to know exactly where it is and a few times i pressed the keypad buttons when trying to take my phone off. i was so excited for this and was thinking of buying a second safe but i think ill stick to just one. not worth the $500
