The folder is decent for the cost. However, they shipped them in a box smaller than the folders.This made them curl up and stay that way!If you would just ship them in a box that is larger than the folder, it would be great!I probably wouldn’t purchase this again for that reason!

What You Get: Great Value & Reasonable Quality
Amazon Basics products offer great pricing and, frankly, corresponding quality. I used to buy very similar looking, muddy green hanging folders from Staples. They help me organize my important documents in a easy-to-see, easy-to-find fashion. I recently decided to separate out my legal documents year by year, so I needed a lot more folders. A LOT MORE. So why not give Amazon a try? It’s much cheaper than the national brands.When I received them, I fully understand why they’re less expensive–they feel noticeably flimsier on first touch! They certainly look the part in photos, but they do not compare to my Staples original. They weigh lighter, and are made out of what almost feels like recycled materials. However, this is an area in my life (and you life, too) that you can safely save. As long as you place logical amount of papers inside these folders, they hold up just fine. These folders forever reside in a sturdy storage box or a metal drawer anyway, so why do they gotta be top quality? Simply put, they don’t.Now I have 50 more folders to categorize my messy documents, and they get the job done without hardly wasting much money. I highly recommend these for personal use, or even for small businesses! For big name, corporate companies and offices, I may opt for the nicer stuff. Just to save face.

These are file folders – they do what they are supposed to. Nice quality. Only issue was they were crammed in a box that was too small for them so they arrived all curled up – we can’t use them until we put something heavy on them to flatten them out.

What can I say, they’re folders. However I bought them used. It was a price I couldn’t refuse. Some of the metal tops were bent, I just gently straightened them. They work just fine. All parts present & accounted for. Yes, I’d buy used again; if the price was right.

Great quality and timely review!
These hanging folders worked perfectly with my Walmart-purchased file cabinet; however, due to the cabinet’s defect, I had to go with a wider model elsewhere. I appreciate that the folders seem to handle a lot of weight. I tested them with some owner’s/instruction manuals and they held up very well. The clips that actually engaging for the hanging function are solid and did not seem to buckle with any level of weight I threw on them. Would buy again! Going to try the wider format now. Thanks for the great service!

Crammed in a Box WTF
This paper product was, unwrapped and LOOSELY thrown into a box, too small to hold them. This caused them to take a permanent circular shape. I have them with weight on top, to see if I can get them flat? Seeing that they were loose, they could be used product for all I know?Otherwise the product seems a good value.I will not be buying this again.

Step down in paper quality but sufficient
These hanging file folders lack the glossy finish and possibly some of the heft of my older folders. However, they were a less expensive option and should handle their assigned task fine. I will update this review if I discover a performance issue.

Indistinguishable From More Expensive Hanging Folders
For my purposes a folder is a folder. There is no prestige or benefit for me to pay more for folders that do NOT perform any better for me than these Amazon Basics folders. These folders perform far better for me than standard manila folders to maintain files in a file cabinet. That’s why I keep ordering them as my files expand.

Hanging out
I have a desk with that takes these hanging folders and I needed some more. Amazon basics has been pretty good to me so I tried them out. Overall, I like these, they do the job. They aren’t colorful or flashy which is fine, they hang out in a closed drawer all day. My only hang-up about these is that they came just tossed in the box. Half of them were bent and curved so much that they weren’t useable. I put a heavy box on them for a couple weeks and then added them to the drawer with a stack of paper in them to help straighten them out. It worked but I would have liked it packed a little better so I could use straight out the box.They serve their purpose.

Not bad quality and the price was good. I just wish they would have used the right size box. The one they used was not large enough for the folders to sit flat. Instead, they were stuffed into a small box and they all have a curl now that I have to take out of them. I would have gladly paid the extra quarter for the right sized box.

Quality is lacking and packing didn’t help
The folders were not in a proper box; they were placed loose into the box they arrived in. They were curled up and some of the tops were bent back. Also, it looked as though there was dust on them, but after looking at them more closely it appears that the ‘dust’ is strings from the glue that was used on them. Sending them back is more trouble than they’re worth and I don’t want to waste money, so will try to use them up, but will NOT reorder these. A refund would be nice if anyone is monitoring these comments.

Just as good as Staples brand for half the price!
I have a filing cabinet with staples brand folders. I needed more and looked on staples website to see the price and saw that they raised the price so I looked on Amazon and came across these folders. I was impressed. They’re actually the same for half the price. Nothing that I can see is different. These Amazon brand is the same color and size. I highly recommend these folders. The only thing I didn’t like was how these were shipped. They legit just stuffed all the folders in a box and some of the folders came with bent corners because of how they packaged it, but other then that, these are legit folders and if you want to save some money, these are it.

The folders seem fine and sturdy enough but I don’t know what happened when they were printing the labels. They’re not uniform and only a few actually come close to fitting in the plastic tags. Keep your scissors handy.

Good enough
They are good enough…I used these to replace the old ones that were at my job before I started over 11 years ago. Apparently the people I work with don’t know how to replace things when they’re old. We haven’t used these very long but so far so good. I was able to add color coding stickers to make it easier to file registration cards. Would buy again.

Quality is fine for the price. The problem is the way they’re shipped- the way the folders are packaged causes them to bend oddly in the middle and it is difficult to flatten them back out. When using them in my file box they sit a little weird because of the way they were laying/bent in the shipping box. If they could be packaged better it would be a much better product.

Typical folders, great price
These file folders are exactly what I was looking for. Albeit, they aren’t anything fancy to look at. The color is dull. And I’m somewhat of a fashionista, always looking for bright colorful and fun office supplies. With that being said, I could have ordered some “pretty” folders, but the value wouldn’t have been there. We do a lot of filing where I work, so for this particular item I needed quantity. Quantity is difficult to find in cute colors while still being gentle on the wallet. Are these cute? No. But did I get what I paid for? Yes. These folders are versatile, sturdy, space saving, and a good value for what was paid. The performance is as expected for file folders. But the real deal is in the quantity. I can order more from Amazon and pay a little less than if I were to order from specific retailers.
