As advertised. Easy assembly. Worth it for a simple chair.

The chair is exactly as it was advertised; a simple “lumbar” support desk chair on wheels. It was fairly easy to put together. Clear labeling of the screws/bolts, washers, and wrench on the packaging that corresponded to the instructions. Instructions were easy to understand by pictorials, even the Instruction to make the screw/bolt tight/taut on part of the back rest. The only “difficulty” is getting accustomed to a different chair. It was worth the purchase.

   Nice for the money

It is just a simple office chair. It was easy to put together and it adjusts well enough for height. The only thing I don’t like is that there is little flexibility to lean back. I’m used to a really nice and expensive chair at work, but I wasn’t willing to spend that much at home. This is a very basic chair (um, Amazon Basics) that gets the job done but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are a work-from-home type of person.

   Great value for the price

My wife and I have been muddling through with old office chairs (from an office supply store) for quite a while now, so I ordered one of these chairs just to see how good they could be. Thanks to Amazon Prime it was delivered the same day.The assembly was nearly painless and the chair was so comfortable that my wife said, “Order another one.” The next day we had two new office chairs in our study. The lumbar support is quite good and the height adjustment is very generous. My wife uses her desk primarily for bill paying and reading her email. She doesn’t swivel or rock and the chair suits her just fine. I use my desk for video editing and playing PC games. I swivel a lot and rock incessantly while waiting for video to compile. Both of us could not be happier. The local office supply store has chairs that are not as comfortable and half again as expensive. Thank you Amazon Basics.

Easy to assemble, looks good, feels good.

I’ve had this chair for about three months now, so I can safely say I’m satisfied with it. It was easy to assemble – good instructions. Looks good, and is comfortable. A winner. 5 stars.

Easy to assemble, comforable and great lumbar support

The Amazon Basics mid-back mesh chair was very easy to assemble in just a few minutes — just follow the pictures in the printed instructions, and note the packaged screws with identifying labels that match the pictures. After assembly, note the pictures for adjusting the seat height, tilt & lock and tilt tension — all very easy to follow. The only limitation (thus 4 stars for egonomic) is that the lumbar support is fixed, not adjustable. The chair is sturdy but not excessively heavy and provides great lumbar support.

If you like a chair that squeaks and squawks every time you move, then this is the chair for you!

UPDATE: November 4, 2018I’ve had this chair awhile now and just noticed that it doesn’t seem to be squeaking or squawking anymore. I have since moved it to hardwood floors, so maybe that helped? I’m not entirely sure why it stopped, but am assuming it finally broke in. I never added any sort of lubricant or messed with it in anyway. And with all the crazy of life I had given up on a solution and just got used to it I guess. But, so, today I just noticed that it doesn’t make that sound anymore. So if you’re on a budget and can deal with the noise, if yours squeaks and squawks, maybe it will just break in after awhile.I really really want to love this chair, but it doesn’t just squeak. It SQUAWKS. It is so annoying and does this every time I shift my weight and I don’t weigh too much. I like to move around a lot because I work at my computer all day. So its just unbearably annoying and disappointing for a brand new chair. From what I can tell, the noise comes from the top of the post where the chair sits. From what I can tell, I might be able to add even more lubricant to the tons that is already on there and hope that fixes it. The padding is comfortable and I like that the arms can be removed if I want to take them off. It was easy to put together. But sadly, the squawking so outweighs all the other great things about this chair that I don’t want to give it more stars. Having a quiet chair is very important to me.I tried asking the community what others have done to fix their noisy chairs and did not receive any answers back from anyone about this problem, nor from the seller.

   some flaws but worth keeping

Edit: Unfortunately the chair already started sinking down when I sat in it so I’m moving on, I inquired and am sending it back.Regarding delivery mine came with a hole in the box poorly taped over which had also come loose but didn’t look like any damage to the product so I proceeded. While assembling I also saw scratches on the seat/back connector part which seemed packed OK. I hate going through the motions of buying new and having cosmetic issues but it’s only that. A function issue seems to be that I cannot get the tilt regulating knob to move either way at all, it’s just super stuck or whatever, I don’t know if it will loosen up over time. I came back to look at reviews again (also was a price drop, that’s nice) and a lot mention that tilt doesn’t work, but I’m specifically saying the knob doesn’t move. The fabric holes for screws in the seat bottom aren’t aligned great but assembly worked. Beware you can fasten the armrests opposite as I didn’t see a left/right on them and it’s not super obvious, I actually didn’t notice till I finished assembly then they seemed off so I redid them (at that point somewhat more difficult) and could tell it was better. You may have to keep the seat height adjusted depending on your desk height since the armrests don’t adjust up and down. So overall sitting in the chair, it is comfortable for me with no major problem. It is definitely on the easy side of assembly once you go over it mentally and I’m not an assembly enthusiast.

    Great chair

The assembly was simple and direct and this chair has made working long hours at a desk way more bearable. It is comfortable and can adjust very well to the height you want. Super recommend it.
